He had his legal assistant call me to gather a little information about what I experienced. He had her call me back about 20 minutes later to let me know he passed on the case. I have documentation and witnesses that I was subjected to a hostile work environment for months, retaliated against for bringing up safety concerns and company policy violations by my peers. I am also owed for unpaid wages. The legal assistant said he said I gave up certain rights when I resigned (instead of continuing to be retaliated against in an hostile AND unsafe work environment) but that I should pursue a wage claim on my own. THIS IS NOT TRUE. By resigning, I made the case more difficult, I did not give up my rights. I hate excuses. Simply say, “I’m passing on the case because I do not want to take it on.” His legal assistant also stated the wrong statute of limitations on our initial call (I had already looked it up.) she backtracked by saying well,I’m not a lawyer so I’ll have to double check with him. Glad he passed.

so many bad things happened at once. Wish I could give zero stars. He did not do anything he said he would. Scheduled a consult. He did not even show up for the consult-he didn't call at the appointed time-his assistants then lied to me....repeatedly. so gross this place. The whole operation can be seen clearly on the ridiculous billboards. fake, fake. and faker. I have never not had an appt with an attorney who scheduled one with me. never. bottom of the barrel --this one. also, there are many fake reviews on here & they are easy to spot too.

05/09/2020- 11:00 pm Straight out the Hospital after the accident I called J. Chrisp, spoke with an associate and the following day Jesse Chrisp him self called me...I like that! We had a case involving a large company with what was described by a mediator as an insurance firm that was very difficult to deal with. We hired Kuvara Law Firm, and with no additional cost, they brought in Steven Cornet, a highly regarded litigator. When we finally entered mediation after a dragged out schedule set by the opposing team, we were able to observe our litigator in action. We had been advised by Mr. Cornet of the typical awards in the county where our trial would be held. The mediator also clearly advised us of the court, witness and other costs involved in trial. My wife, the party with life changing injuries from the collapse of a defective store display, and I had previously agreed on what we felt would be a fair net outcome for us after expenses. Mr. Cornet was able to negotiate that outcome. Further, the Kuvara-Cornet team negotiated with the medical provider and others to further increase our net outcome. Ultimately, our settlement was significantly more than we had anticipated. Colby Kuvara then arranged for us to have a phone conference about the possibilities of future medical attachments to our settlement. Based on that conference, we determined that no set aside would be required. Our full settlement check was mailed to us certified mail the next day. I would strongly recommend Kuvara Law Firm and Steven Cornet, attorney, for your personal injury needs.

Choyce Law Firm was very helpful and professional. They answered all my questions promptly and explained everything well. They provided me with all the documents I needed for my records and were very transparent throughout all stages of the process. Unfortunately my situation resolved with a final tab more expensive than if I had handled it myself. But despite this, I still recommend their services. They made everything very simple and I'd rather pay them than the police department anyway.

I was extremely pleased with the Choyce Law Firm. I had received a ticket for excessive speed of 112 mph while driving on the highway in the city of Dixon. I was really worried about the consequences as I faced an $800 fine, 3 points on my insurance and my license being suspended. I contact the Choyce Law Firm and spoke to Julianna who informed of Mr. Dionne. BEWARE!!! The first good note is to see this Man , Mr. Deon Choyce no longer practices criminal Law. Mr. Choyce came to the county jail to attempt to get me to hire him on a case matter and he secretly recorded our conversation and when I did NOT retain him for that specific matter he forwarded our conversation that he was secretly recording over to Detectives for the police dept. Do Not put your trust nor hard earned money in this mans wallet . I am not big on leaving reviews as this law firm is more to it then Mr Choyce himself . He has honest employees at his office I’m sure of it but Mr. Choyce is not trust worthy and do not go thru what I had to experience. There are many of other “ choices “ out there I would highly recommend looking into those options if need any type of legal representation. KEEP IN MIND he did work for law enforcement himself the District Attorneys office . Thru my experience never hire any legal representation whom worked for the other side of the bench and then switch sides . They use the oh I know all sides of the court room as it will be in your favor but it never proves to be .

I found Mitchell Leeds, LLP on Google while looking for a lawyer who works in Medical Malpractice. I was highly uneducated on this topic. I left a voicemail. Today around Noon I got a call and although I did not fit into what they take case wise, the man on the other line his name starts with a D was extremely helpful, kind, and respectful. I am a lawyer and former law teacher but I have never been a litigant myself. After a serious bicycle crash that broke my femur and elbow, I asked around for recommendations and found Kyle Smith of Bay Area Bicycle Law. Turns out he and I were both board members of Bike East Bay and I had met him in passing at a member meeting. Kyle did a spectacular job handling my claim and we achieved a maximum outcome, better than the insurance policy limits (of the owner of the unleashed dog that crashed into my bike while I was riding on the Bay Trail). That was possible because Kyle combined excellent negotiations with both the insurer and my medical provider (which held a lien for repayment of medical expenditures). In the end, he got the medical entity to reduce its claims so that my final settlement exceeded what I would have gotten if my settlement were at the policy limits and if I had to pay the full lien. Not only did Kyle guide me through the claiming process, he encouraged me to write a diary of my experiences during and after the crash. He was always available by phone and email. Most importantly, he understood my pain and loss and authored a compelling claim. I hardly recognized myself in his redrafting of my story and that turned out to be a good thing because I have a tendency to minimize pain and maximize rehabilitation. So in the end we achieved a maximum recovery and a maximum rehab. I'm happy to be back on the bike with a generous settlement achieved without having to go to court. The whole process took less than six months.

I was doored by a passenger exiting an Lyft without warning. My injuries were not life-threatening but it was about 8 - 10 weeks before I was quite over it. Luckily the police and paramedics were there almost immediately and the police (I discovered later) filed a police report that rightly put opening a car door into traffic as being the cause. I contacted Bay Area Bicycle Law to see if I could get some compensation for something that had banged me up quite badly, and they were wonderful! Kyle and all of the other people I worked with there were easy to work with, made time for me, kept me informed, and eventually got me a reasonable settlement. Very satisfied. I hope I never need them again, but if I should I wouldn't hesitate to contact them.

I was hit by a car doing a right turn at an intersection while I was on my bike in Aug 2018.
