Over a year ago, I was rear ended on my morning commute. It was an intense and emotional ordeal. I scheduled a meeting with this team and worked with Meg Foley for the past year. Meg is amazing... I suffered my first car accident as a driver this year 2020 in Virginia. I would 100% recommend this firm. I was hit by a drunk driver, car totaled, and had medical bills. I considered just filing a claim with my insurance company by myself, but a friend recommended Meg Foley. Meg and the staff were great to work with, always available by phone and email for questions and help. She handled the entire process from start to finish, working with insurance companies on both sides, updating me throughout. I know my settlement wasn't the largest they've ever handled, but they treated me as if it were and took care of me as their client in the most professional way possible. My colleague went to him & got completely screwed over. Mr. Remmenga takes weeks at a time to respond. He also misrepresents settlement amounts & duties he performs. Mr. Remmenga knows many insurance caps,like all most lawyers do,why would he mention the case was worth millons when he knew what the insurance cap was?

Mccormick and Murphy was a great help for me. Initially I was charged with jay walking. I was hit by a car while crossing Colorado Ave at an un marked walk way. It seemed I was stuck an guilty, all my fault.. After some investigation it was discovered it was a legal crossing an the driver was at fault. I was able to get the medical bills and some recompense for all the hardship the accident caused.. thanks guys... Steve

Dan was successful in helping us in the aftermath of a traffic accident that my wife was involved in. Thankfully, Dan sorted thru the details establishing the other driver as the responsible party. Dan then helped counsel us as to the needed steps to be taken and then leading the negotiations with the opposition insurance company. This lead to a successful conclusion. We have been involved in traffic accidents before and not utilized a personal injury attorney to guide us in dealing with the oppositions insurance company. In hindsight, given our positive experience with Dan, we were mistaken in not seeking his "wise counsel".

I had my accident June 19,2020. I was having such issues with insurance after the accident for about a week and I went in a search for a car accident attorney. Being a military spouse I knew the law office on post would have a list of approved lawyers for off post. Ted was the simplest name and it stood out from all of the other names on the list. I called and he got me in to talk with him that same week I called. He made everything less stressful. I didn’t know I needed more care after the accident and he quickly got me into physical therapy for my arm/wrist. Ted kept me in the loop of everything that was happening, the limitation to the insurance questions they could ask me since he took over. It was so great. Not the accident but all of the help he provided along the way. If I had a question I could text, email, or call. Ted would get back to me at his earliest convenience (I know he has other clients) and even working with other people, he still made sure he responded to me or called me to answer my questions. There were a couple little things I had to do towards the end but that was nothing compared to all the work he did for the past year. Ted does not let the insurance push his clients around. I just finished my paperwork a couple days ago to finalize everything. I got copies of everything for my case. I cannot recommend him enough. Such a great guy and the staff I met was really friendly. I worked directly with Ted the entire time.

I usually don’t read 5 star reviews because they are full of bots. But this is no bot. I came to Ted in 2017 for when a driver crashed into the back of my New Camaro. I blacked out my car was totaled when I came to, and I was in a ridiculous amount of pain. I had no idea what to do or where to turn. I have never been in an accident before. If your like me and your looking for a genuine answer as to where to go or what to do next. Take this as your answer. Ted was amazing. These things take a while especially in the pandemic but Ted is the best at what he does. He got me treatment and he got me compensation for everything I lost and had to deal with. If you have been in an accident like me and your in pain. Call Ted immediately that’s my advice from someone who has been through it at this point. Hopefully this helps.

I was T-boned by an unlicensed driver who ran a stop sign. My insurance didn’t want to settle enough money to even cover my health expenses and the gap insurance wouldn’t cover what I owed on the car. Ted Bills got the company that fraudulently sold me the gap insurance to pay the rest of the loan. He also got my insurance to pay $100,000 on my claim.

I was injured in a construction accident that permanently left me a paraplegic. I remember being in the hospital realizing that my career of 25 years was over, and that I was no longer capable of providing for myself or my family. I also had to focus on recovering as much as possible for my loved ones and adapting to my disability. I called McDivitt law firm because I needed someone who would stand up for me, and make sure that I was treated fairly by the insurance companies. I received that and more from them. There were so many things that had to be addressed to put my life back together after my accident. Disability from the state had to be applied for, the workman's compensation insurance company had to be negotiated with to make sure my future medical needs were met, hospital and medical bills had to be paid, house modifications had to be done to make my place handicap accessible, automobile modifications had to be done, payment for pain and suffering and job loss from my injury had to be addressed. There was all of that and much more. McDivitt had a team of professionals put together for each phase of my case and recovery to help me day or night with tough decisions, questions I might have, or even if I just needed to ease my mind and talk. They not only stood up for my rights, but also cared about my well being. I also found their percentage method of payment comforting. Knowing that I would not have an attorney bill when this was all over was a huge relief, and allowed the decisions made to be based on importance and not affordability. I feel that McDivitt did a great job with all phases of my case and would recommend them to anyone who has had an accident and needs help.

What I like about McDivitt, is how easy they make their service. If you are involved in an accident, you literally just call them and give the the details and they’ll either send a courier or email you docs to sign. Then you focus on healing. They will gather and handle everything else. Your medical bills, the insurance company, etc. They will even help you plan for how to pay for bills in the event you are insufficiently covered (until the insurance company covers it). The team will give you updates on how far along you are to completing your claim. They pay your medical providers/ health insurance, take their cut and you are left with any remainder. It can take a year to get through it. If you’ve ever been on the fence about how it all works just know that it is literally a matter of calling them, signing a doc, and focusing on your recovery. I wouldn’t recommend anyone try to be greedy, but if you are an honest person who just wants help getting through unexpected circumstances, they will get you through it.

They are money hungry. If you are involved in a case with them, they don't understand brain injury at all. They find out what the policy is and don't tell you. Good luck talking to an attorney. If a policy can only pay $25000 max. You should have a chance to decide wether you want to go through them or file it yourself. They end up with more than you. You file and get the power to control your funds. My wife has asked several times for a copy of her file. Called many times & gets no response. Like they are hiding something.

Mr. Lasswell did an excellent job on resolving my case.
