I would highly recommend The Dickstein Law Firm. Mark worked tirelessly on my behalf for almost three years on injuries I sustained during work. I recently had the opportunity to work with Lilia Biberman and Eric Ansel but mostly Lilia. I'm beyond grateful to have found them when I did. Before Lilia took over,  my case was pretty much a lost cause. She was able to reopen my case and negotiate things in my favor. She really went above and beyond to help me. While I was talking on the phone with Adam, I was certain that he was the one for me and my case. He was exceptional and candid about what I could expect and not expect moving forward. READ BEFORE HIRING: What an AWFUL experience! OVER 5 years to get close to nothing for my settlement. Most unprofessional law firm I have ever dealt with. The law firm never answers to emails, return phone calls, or update their client as they should, and most importantly never explained the amount would change from 33 1/3 percent to 40 percent but yet they claim they want to get the most for their clients. For all the disappointments and lack of knowledge on my case they shouldn’t have charged for my case 40 percent because it wasn’t deserved. If the law firm would have been attentive of my case that wouldn’t be an issue in my eyes. If you want to wait many years for close to nothing and lawyers who just see you as a number hire them. Clueless about my case and prep you for five minutes before a deposition( which is a big deal) Uneducated on my case( mediation with another lawyer that wasn’t Ryan. I believe Adam. He has no idea about my case so why in the world was he out on my case without any knowledge of my medical history? The defense ate him up and he had no records of my medical history to defend my case. Lack of effort and organization. Highly disappointed in my outcome and would NOT recommend to anyone. In 5 years I spoke to Ryan maybe twice. The staff is constantly changing. The only person there that cares about the clients best interest is Maria. She gets 5 stars and more. I never met her but she was nothing but caring throughout these couple years and I hope she can get out of there because they do not deserve her. She pushed my case and that’s the only reason it was finally closed. Thank you Maria. You are an amazing person and you deserve the best.

My son and I were involved in a car accident, where we were clearly victims, and even with suggestions from other lawyers' offices that the case would not be worth it…. With Scher &Scher we succeed!!! It was a long process, but it was worth it!!!

I am convinced that most of the people that give this place a 5 star review are either bought or bots. Most reviews giving this place 5 stars only have 1 review in their accounts. Anyway, I had a case for workers compensation. The whole ordeal lasted a few months, on the day of the trial the opposing attorney made her case against me, and I believe that she made very good points. When the judge asked my lawyer if he had anything rebuttals my lawyer simply said "NOPE" if a concise and childish manner. And that was it, case lost. He didn't even try. Luckily, they gave me a small settlement which my "lawyer" took almost 50% of it. He took almost 50% while giving me no representation. After another month or so, I get called by their office to go over there and sign some documents. I go and I start reading the papers that they gave me. But apparently, that was wrong. Because the lawyer came in to the office where I was and told me that "we don't have time for you to read everything, just sign it because we got other clients coming in". I stood my ground and told him that I just needed about 10 minutes. After I read everything and left, I stayed outside the office to see who was coming in after me. I stood there for 15 minutes and no one came. They clearly just wanted me to get in and out as soon as possible. Another 2 months pass and I wonder where my check is, I call the office and they say "Oh yeah your check is here so come get it". I told them that I live sort of far so it would be best for them to mail it. They said that they would but end up not mailing it. It's almost like they were hoping for me to forget about the check for some reason... Anyhow, this place is trash, there's a reason why they charge based on what you get.

From the start of the case I have the attorney cellular telephone number. I didn't really have to ask for any kind of case updates, the attorney updated me on my case regularly. I guess the simplest thing to say is that I felt like the attorney treated my case like it was his own case.

What can i say, Steven, Alla and Rebecca were all amazing from the start to the end. When i first entered the office Alla made it clear they are basically a Boutique law and provide a high level of service. This was not wrong, they were accurate, fast and excellent in what they did from start to finish. They also negotiated really amazingly and i ended up getting more than expected. They not only did great with the negotiating i also felt they had my health interests at the heart of all decisions which sometimes is not the case with lawyers in this field. After being hit during a rear-end collision, I was left with severe injuries and few options from my insurance company. After a considerable amount of research I hired Cohen and Cohen, which ended up being one of the best decisions I could have made. My case was handled by Adam, who provided me with a superb level of professionalism and care one would not expect from such a large law firm.
