Where to start… You know when in hindsight you think and say ‘I wish I would have found someone else?’ well this isn’t it, of all the things that went wrong the day that I got rear-ended, the best thing was to call Mr. Ray Ledezma. WOW!! he called me back immediately and I met with him next day, he was genuinely concerned about me and explained the whole scenario to me. This was without knowing what the other person’s insurance limits were. I’m so thankful that I read some reviews like this that made me take the best decision that day. I could have called one of those big companies that you see or hear advertisements for, and they would have paired me up with a paralegal and a Junior attorney, I can almost see it, I wouldn’t have gotten half of what I did. You need someone like Mr. Ledezma to be involved in every aspect of the case so you can get the best outcome, you’d ask… ‘yeah but how do I know that he can fight for me better than the big companies?... I have personally been with this firm for years now. I have been on and off due to personal reasons, but Carissa is amazing and she understands that life gets in the way. On April 27, 2015 I was involved in a very bad automobile accident on I-95. Thankfully I suffered minimal injury to my body. Unfortunately my car was not so lucky. After surveying the damage my insurance company decided that the damage to my car was so extensive that they wrote the car off as a "total loss." The insurance company then offered me a settlement of over $5,000 less than what I still owed on the car. I had purchased my car only a year earlier. It was 2 years old, and I was under the impression that by purchasing it used I was getting it at close to its real value. My insurance company saw it differently, and despite several lengthy phone calls with several different departments, my insurance company would not budge on how much they would offer me. At that point I was distraught twice - suffering through the trauma of the car accident, and then the additional trauma of my insurance company telling me I would have to come out of pocket with $5,500 to pay off the difference between what they were giving me and the amount I still had left to pay on my car loan. Around that time I spoke with Ryan Wynne of Slinkman, Slinkman & Wynne about my situation. I told him after my extensive conversations with my insurance company that I was assured there was nothing they would do to offer me anything more. Ryan asked that I give him a chance. If he was unable to get anything, it was not going to cost me any money, as Slinkman, Slinkman & Wynne only gets paid if they are able to get you money, as well. Over the final 6 months of 2015 and into the beginning of 2016 Ryan would update me every 6 to 8 weeks or so of his dealings with my insurance company.
