Best decision I made! Most professional and they take care of you! I was in an accident. My car was totalled and sustained a knee injury from the accident. I had a real estate closing scheduled at 4:00 with Ben Windham’s office last month and could not believe the level of unprofessionalism shown. I called and warned them I would be running late but because it was a simple closing it literally took me 10 minutes tops to have everything on my part done. While I was signing I asked for the wire transfer confirmation (that I’m untitled too), at that point Michelle who is NOT an attorney rudely informed me that had I been on time that could have been done. She also proceeds to tell me that the banks could not process anything after 4( contradicting the fact that it was scheduled by them at 4). Wow! By the way the office says it closes at 5pm and I walked out 5 minutes after, had I not been cursed at by this glorified secretary she would have not stayed 5 minutes late. I have since left Mr. Windham two voice messages to rectify the situation with absolutely NO response. In closing I would never recommend using them unless you enjoy be belittled, called names and cursed at. This complete incident took place in front of the closing agent who did nothing to stop Michelle from her rampage, I also must be completely honest with the incident. Once I was yelled and reamed at, I absolutely did my fair share of trashing her back! Please share this message, this is not a company that should be supported by the community!!! I had to write a public review to get a response from Ben Windham’s office, that says enough for their business ethics. Furthermore the term “dispute” is an attorneys favorite word. Dispute it till your blue in the face, there were witnesses and if the closing attorney says different than you’ve been lied too. I did admit to telling Michelle all about herself (raising my voice and I did curse) only AFTER she showed her ????. I will not act as though it didn’t happen or sugarcoat what I responded to her with. My initial remark that got her rude behavior was “ do I get a wire transfer confirmation?” When told no I said “ I’m not a big fan of that idea”. At NO point did Michelle have any right to belittle, yell and curse at me the way she did!!!!!!!

Hired him 3 yrs ago with property dispute, had some communication first few months plus paid multiple times. Went two years with no communications and left messages but never received return calls. Then received letter to garnish my wages but he never received it but when I sent him copy, he answered his phone. Apparently he had changed his number at some point as I had called fellow attorney and was given different number which he answered. After more money to him, case was dismissed before he had to do anything and again he knew nothing about that. Never received any refund. Do not use him unless you have money to spend and don't care to resolve your case.

We paid for a contract for a year. He did absolutely nothing with anything that was sent to him for a whole year. Would not return phone calls or emails. We had an important matter that had to be tended to. He never started working on it till the contract was due again. When it got right in the middle of the case he dropped us. I was in a motorcycle wreck in June of last year. It was a no contact hit and run.. Basically they forced me off the road. I was taken to Atlanta Medical Center for a trauma alert. I was in there for roughly 6 hours and accrued a 50000 dollar bill. AMC put a lien against my uninsured motorist on my policy and tried to take the whole thing. This by far has been the worst experience I have had to deal with when it comes to a law firm. I am highly unsatisfied with the lack of communication, consistency, and the overall experience. I would not recommend this firm at all. I have also been given the run arounds and never receive scheduled call backs for updates. I am to the point that I am about to end the case. This experience has been stressful and not a relief at all. I came here to support a Black Owned Business but I am learning that was a huge mistake because I trusted the wrong firm with my case. I am having so many regrets and the process has become stressful. I do sometimes wonder do the owner know the lack of services and commitment I have been receiving.
