That is too bad the previous reviewer had a bad experience. That is not remotely familiar to the firm we have used for years. Recently, our family experienced a nightmare of a case. You know it is bad when the New York Times offers to do a story about it. We could not have gotten through this without Michael Gillis. He was up front and matter of fact, but at the same time was compassionate and informative. He guided us through 8 months of hell and I can rest assure you that I would not have wanted anyone else representing us. This was an extremely unique case that Michael handled masterfully. Despite the fact that I was a nervous wreck in the courtroom it was pretty amazing watching Michael in a courtroom. People would ask me all of the time "Do you have a good attorney?" Without a doubt we had the BEST attorney!

Very unimpressed with their practices. They took on my case and specifically stated there were no upfront costs, a contract was signed to support this. Many months elapsed before they really did anything and then decided to not support my case unless I paid them $2,000. The attorney I met was very nice, but seemed to be very young and inexperienced. I would definitely research other law firms before selecting this firm. End result is they did not make a solid attempt to follow through on the course of action they specified. I would not recommend them under ANY circumstances.

My Dad was in a hit and run accident in Florida, on his motorcycle, and after suffering a ruptured aorta, collapsed lung and broken back, he is still with us - albeit paralyzed from the waist down. David Bikofsky was recommended to me by someone who had used him when his daughter was in a terrible car accident in Georgia. David was our lifeline as my family went through the first 12 months after the accident. To say he went above and beyond to help us is an understatement. He researched Florida and Vermont laws, he spoke with state police and attorneys from the multiple facilities where my Dad received care as he recovered, and he also helped us navigate through Medicare's involvement. He came up with a strategy that allowed my parents to recover a settlement against their own insurance policies, and because of that, they have been able to purchase a wheelchair van and have made accommodations to their home in Vermont, and it's miraculous to us that they have come through this and are doing well. I would recommend David to anyone.

The attorney , Jeff Boone, is pretty much a legend. Not just well known, but responsible for launching many legal careers. He fights for everything, looks under every rug, in every crack, etc. and is your best advocate. He is honest too and will not take a route because it is easy, but because it is right and the path he thinks is best! Dan and his entire team are incredible. They took my case and myself and treated me as if I was a member of their family. David Bograd and his team are truly professional and deliver results. The day my auto accident occurred (not my fault), my whole life was upside down. The other party was trying to downplay my pain, and the damage they had caused to my life. I was worried about so many things (time off from work, lost wages, vehicle repair costs, vehicle rental costs, physical therapy/healthcare costs, etc.), but thankfully I took a friend's advice and called David's office. He met with me immediately and drove very far (almost 2 hours each way) to make the trip easy for me, as he knew I was going through a lot. David was straight to the point, no nonsense, but also very caring. He set up a plan for me that made sure my questions were always answered, my bills were covered, and that the right people always had the right information (doctors, insurances, repair shops, my workplace etc.) His staff are incredibly friendly and helpful as well, and would always get back to me quickly if they were not immediately available. David's office worked relentlessly to not only help me fully recover from my accident, but also to set my life back on track. At the end, it was almost as if the accident never happened. In the end I also ended up with a settlement that made my year of suffering much more bearable. When two cars broke the light, collided at an intersection and barrelled towards me waiting on my bike, I was pitched 10 ft and landed on my left hip and leg. MGH ex-rays showed no broken bones but I was unable to move for several weeks. The severe pains, trauma, sleepless nights, and inability to work for compelled me to seek some form of compensation especially as it was no fault of my own. Worse yet, I could not play tennis, cycle or go jogging for several months without pain! I googled several bicycle attorneys' websites and the small firm of Mitcheson & Lee appealed to me because of their bicycle safety advocacy and excellent client testimonials. Luke Mitcheson and his team has been very accommodating, reassuring, compassionate, utterly professional, and took up my case with great interest as they guided me through the legal process. As the massive medical bills started coming to me, Luke's medical billing advice was invaluable in avoiding any out-of-pocket payments! When the driver's insurance company low-balled me at $2k, Luke and I thought it ridiculous prompting him to arrange a deposition with them in which I pleaded my case about the many months of intense pain and suffering. Luke then negotiated and secured the maximum compensation for this type of accident - $20k! I hope that none of my acquaintances have to use their service, but if so, I highly recommend these friendly professionals!!! I am so grateful for their efforts that I have posted their brochures in our bike room at work and several bike stores! I was in a car accident last year and I was worried I would have to deal with the insurance company, which to me was a nightmare thought! I was referred to Attorney Andrew Brodie by a trusted professional contact, and was immediately struck by his remarkable ease of demeanor, unrelenting professionalism, and an intelligence that is both encyclopedically correct and dynamically adaptive to situation and context. In fact I’m not sure I know anyone so early in their career who carries themselves and interacts with their clients with such courtesy, integrity, and wisdom. He can communicate complex scenarios and tricky situations in a comprehensible way that goes a long way to getting to the bottom of and resolving problems, while somehow keeping the experience pleasant and easygoing throughout. Although I am not experienced in the area, Attorney Brodie’s mastery of cycling caselaw and practice seemed both formidable and complete. And yet I think he is much more broadly capable than “just” a specialist. Regardless of whether you speak with him about cycling and cycling injury, or something else, I would not hesitate to recommend him wholeheartedly and without reservation.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in how this law firm handled our case. They are far from responsive, their secretary will ALWAYS tell you “Oh they’re in a meeting right now, can they call you back” and you will NEVER get a call back. They left us hanging onto hope for TWO YEARS and did NOTHING to work on our case!! We finally had enough and went with someone much more professional!!! Please don’t waste your time with them.

Amazing! I don’t have words to describe how great they were. Staff were always on point, very responsive in a fast manner.
