About a month ago my wife and I got a collect call in the middle of the night from our son, that call changed our lives in a way I won’t get into but we needed a lawyer, we were referred to Castro law group by a friend. Our son needed a lawyer in Florida and Mr Castro went out of his way to find one that met our needs and he found the best. I was in a serious auto accident in 2010 in Southern Maryland. They intake thousands of cases, and settle them rapidly. Another word, they're not going to advocate in your defense as attorneys supposed to. There was very little communication from Mr. Mike Schreyer or his paralegal. I never met the attorney until the day of my mediation. I was supposed to have received a call from Mr. Schreyer the day before mediation but he was too busy with another case to spend 30 minutes on the phone with me to review my case! I was not made to feel like my case was a priority nor that My case was important to this law firm. I was also never told that Mr. Schreyer and/or his law firm would get 40% of my settlement. This should have been disclosed to me right from the beginning of the lawsuit but never was until the day of mediation!!! The lack of communication from this law firm, the fact that I was made to feel not important, and to have gotten only a few thousand dollars more than the law firm was a hard pill to swallow and why I give Alpert Schreyer Law Firm a poor rating.
