If you really need someone to get what you FULLY deserve in an accident..don't use this firm.. Use Sam Bernstein down state as this company really short changed my mother on her settlement as they evidently can't hold out against bigger lawyers. They cave too fast.

From the first time I contacted Jay Trucks and Associates they made sure that I understood every step that we were taking. Both Todd Trucks and Tammy Cameron were in contact with me constantly keeping me updated, they both of them made sure I had their office number and cell phone numbers. i recently had this office represent me in a ssi disabilty case. this was the only attorneys office that would take my case so it was not my first choice. i removed 1 star because of poor and mis-information that was provided. i removed a second star because the attorney did not offer to request a emergency hearing because that i was a risk of utility shut off and mortgage forclosure. the office people at the ssi office gave me more information than the attorney. i also removed a 3rd star because of the certified letter that they mailed me to remind to leave a online review.

LeFevre Law Firm has represented me and my business in many matters. I was dealing with Attorney Garett Kerr as a referral. By the looks of these bad reviews mine was nothing different. He sat down with me for no less than 5 minutes and took my check. The cleared and I never heard from attorney Kerr ever again. He told me he would take care of my legal issue. While I had him dealing with that issue another legal problem arose. You’d think he would’ve had my back? Nope! Stood me up on the day I was to show up for court. He sent me a email on the morning of! I had no clue about the email and was in front of the judge clueless and scared. I hope and pray no one ever feel the feeling I felt, when I needed them the most they never showed or fought for me. It’s truly the worst feeling in the world! Please at least get a back up before dealing with this office. On another note, his office staff was very pleasant to deal with and nice ladies. To bad Attorney Kerr was a huge disappointment.

I was told by several different attorneys that my son wasn't eligible for disability. I knew he was eligible because I know people with the same disability who qualified for disability payments. I was very frustrated until I called Jessica. She was so caring and understanding and was glad to accept the case and assured me that she could help me. We went to court and won the case. Through out the whole process Jessica was always very friendly and glad to answer my questions. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and she is very, very smart and knowledgeable about the law. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help with their disability claim or any other legal matter.

Warren was my disability attorney. I am in my mid 30’s, so we knew there was a really good chance we’d have to fight to get anywhere. Warren was there every step of the way. He was validating, sincere, knowledgeable, educated, sharp as a whip, and has a really good sense of humor to boot. He reassured me after my initial denial, he called with updates and was ALWAYS more than willing to explain things to me and answer my questions. I truly think it’s rare to have such a good experience, but I’m going to guess it’s not so rare with Warren. He’s just awesome. I’m now approved, and can breathe a much needed sigh of relief. 10/10 recommend.

The disability process is very long and tedious. But If you choose Burns Law and listen to Mr. Fink and do exactly what he asks you to do then you have a fair shot of winning. The front office did the best they could. Went there expecting to deal with the elder Mr. Hamo. Ended up dealing with the son. Was promised Mr. Hamo dealt with Alex. Alex is inexperienced, not great at explaining details. Remembering what he said in previous conversations or meetings. I don’t think Alex lied, I just don’t think he knew the law as good as he should of to take on my case. I was often told something then told, “I didn’t say that”. I took notes every time, when I left a meeting or on the phone. I felt personally that he was not fighting for me. Instead trying to just end the case. I wouldn’t recommend Alex at this time or his career to anyone. I don’t think he’s a bad person, man or has bad character. Instead of admitting he was wrong, or doing his due diligence the problem or issue would often be ignored. Hopefully in years to come he can become a better lawyer. The ladies in the front office were great. I was very disappointed in how everything turned out. Did everything the firm told me to do and ended up being a big waste of time. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I won’t go into details about my case because it’s still not complete and I don’t find that constructive at this time. I just feel others looking to hire an attorney at this time should know this. You need an attorney that will fight for you, your rights and future. Not side with the defense and they’re “facts”. Not easily persuaded by the defense, they’re supposed to be working for you. Myself, I never felt that way. Hope this helps anyone out there, while giving constructive criticism to the law firm and helping them better serve the Flint area in the future.

Fantastic law firm!! I would recommend them to anyone I know or meet. Worked tirelessly on my injury auto accident case for almost 1.5 years. Finally reached a settlement then even continued to work after the settlement was reached to get the rest of my remaining medical bills paid so I wasn’t stuck with any. Mr. Steele represented me in a workers compensation dispute. First impressions were great, the guy knows what he’s talking about and he treated my wife and I like equals and taught the process well. He’s down to earth and extremely respectful and kind, but knows how to roll with the punches and joke around too, which was a big deal for us, it made the experience he was advocating for feel more genuine. We got stuck in the covid scamdemic so everything went slower than normal, but I don’t hold that against him. His staff was awesome. Everyone was informative and helpful with regular updates throughout a tough time in my life. In the end, we came to an excellent conclusion for my case and settled with an agreeable sum and as far as I can tell Mr. Steele did everything he could to increase the payout. I would highly recommend Mr. Floyd Steele and his team. I hope that I will never NEED his services, but if I do, I would surely go to him again.
