There were grey areas because I had already spoken w/ the insurance company more than once. I contacted this office for representation and I too was given the run around. No follow up phone calls and dodging basic questions about my case. Very simple things like court dates, I've received more information from my nephew out of state that knew how to access the court system in Missouri. One of the biggest challenges faced by some head injured people is processing anything new. Meeting a new person who is in a position of authority often enhances the stress. Without going into the long list of the challenges before us and for reasons beyond my control, I was under great duress to find an attorney for a Social Security Hearing. The heads up in these cases are usually three or four months rather than less than three weeks as it was.
