I was involved in a car accident in January of 2021, that was no fault of my own, and it resulted of my car being totaled by a drunk driver and my shoulder needing surgery. I looked up a few law firms and received a couple calls. I received a call from one of the intakes Adriana Solera in minutes, she was very sweet and informative, she answered all my questions and took all of my information down, I was even able to contact her via text throughout all the intake process which I really liked. As soon as I spoke to her I knew I was making the right decision! Once my information was put in and if things couldn't seem more easy and comfortable for me I was put under the care of Paralegal Cheryl Reeve, who is the main focus of this review, she made this an easy and quick process for me. Cheryl followed up with me many times just to see how I was doing, and that is something I really liked! She answered all of my questions and always followed up with phone calls or e-mails. They took care of all my therapy and doctors appointments, including my surgery. I was able to receive my settlement check within 6 months of more than what I expected. A person driving an 18 wheeler tractor trailer rear ended my car. From this accident I had a severe concussion, along with neck & back injuries. I called this law firm to represent me because I wasn't able to even think straight. Mr. Stephen Tiger was assigned to my case. He and his paralegal, Carola Sanchez, helped me get the proper medical attention I desperately needed. They made sure that my auto insurance company & place of work gave me the financial & medical benefits that I was entitled to. Mr. Tiger was efficient, knowledgeable and sympathetic to my needs while being strong & professional where I felt he had my back. Carola Sanchez was a terrific paralegal & she made me comfortable with all aspects given that I was having a difficult time from the concussion. She was understanding, patient & kind, while having outstanding professionalism. I appreciated her very much. When it came time that I made the decision to file an actual lawsuit. Mr. Tiger explained it all to me and took action in a timely manner. I was so happy to hear that everytime I had a forced IME from the defendant's, he sent a 'watchdog' person to take notes to meet me at the appointments so I felt much more safe & uncomfortable & the results would be more truthful. When it came time for my deposition. Mr. Tiger was great because he stood up strongly against the other attorney's questioning that was not appropriate because a judge already ruled on the accident! When my case came down trying to agree on a settlement & the defendants attys were not cooperative, Mr. Tiger fought for what I needed. I settled and it all came to an acceptable agreement by me. I cannot say enough about how great this law firm has been in my worker's comp case with NYC. From the minute I signed the retainer with a broken hand, the process was smooth, the staff was knowledgeable and courteous, and communication was spot-on when developments arose. After the way that I was treated for the last six years by the Bongiorno Law Firm, I am writing the first review of my life….First off, I have to thank Richie for not letting me walk out the door and forget everything. He asked me kindly not to leave and to give the Bongiorno Law Firm a shot being that I had nothing to lose as It was determined by my surgeon and New York State that I was permanently disabled. I’m a Union Laborer for 24 years in New York City and I was injured because of negligence on the job. I want to thank all of the girls in the office , especially Soula for keeping me informed, reminding me of all of my doctors appointments , and most importantly for calling me just to check on my well being. Next , I want to thank Michelle for all of the calls to tell me that one of the lawyers would be meeting me at every doctor’s appointment that I had. When I first contacted Richard at The Bongiorno Law Firm following a car accident, I was immediately at ease. He sat with me and talked me through my case every step of the way. I was never put off, or rescheduled, never told that they couldn't see me or make time to answer even the smallest of questions I had. The entire office is professional, understanding and patient. Thorough doesn't begin to describe their whole team. I was treated like family through every step of my case. Every person I spoke to recognized me by voice over the phone, always had my information at their fingertips, and never made me feel like a "number". The rare times I had to leave a message/voicemail, it was answered within hours. The team that was behind my case was outstanding. When it was time for my deposition, Keri Lynn expertly coached me through what was expected of me. I was always in contact with my team, with emails, direct phone numbers, even personal cell numbers. Richard also put me in contact with my surgeon. I had seen multiple doctors of various areas of expertise, but when it came down to the fact that I would require surgery on my neck, he sent me to the best of the best. Chopra & Nocerino, LLP, took on my case without hesitation even though it was known to be a very difficult case. I was in a pedestrian knockdown case where I crossed mid block, not within the intersection or crosswalk, and got hit by a vehicle. I was injured as a result of the accident, especially my head. I was said to have a traumatic brain injury. Although many firms were skeptics to help me, Chopra & Nocerino LLP were able to secure the full tender of the ENTIRE SEVEN FIGURE insurance policy. I am overwhelmed with joy and happiness, I couldn’t recommend this firm more to anyone. They set a goal for each case they take on and don’t stop until the end, regardless of whatever uphill battle they may face. Steve Palermo, his assistant, Ana, and the rest of his staff have been a pleasure. Everyone made me feel comfortable and confident. During trial, Steve gave the jury a full accounting and mental picture of what I've gone through. Each time I have regretted the experience because some practices want to be specialists of everything, but ultimately are masters of none!
