After the decree was finalized they were done. They wanted more money and would not return phone calls or emails. Ex refused what was in the decree, after multiple enquires to firm and consistently ignore on what course of action needs to be taken, had to contact the officiating judge and also files a grievance with Texas Bar. This could have been rectified by simply replying to my correspondence and not wanting more money.

I hired Brandy Austin Law Firm in 2018 to represent me in my divorce. I never imagined I would have wasted so much time, and over $23,000 with this law firm for them to accomplish absolutely nothing in the 2 years that they had my case. The first issue was the amount of attorneys that picked up my case... I dealt with 5 different attorneys during this time. The first attorney never filed my temporary orders correctly, which cause more fees, and court cost due to this law firm never following through with the correct filing. The next few attorneys hardly did anything at all, but charged me over and over to get “caught up” on my case details. Oh, and guess what - each time they changed attorneys... there goes another fee for them to file to list someone new. At your expense!!! Finally after all of this Brandy herself took over my case, and ensured me that she would handle it until the end. Well guess what, she didn’t. She passed it over to the next attorney who wanted to once again charge me 5k just to get caught up on my case. Honestly, save your money and don’t waste your time here. They are scamming people out of their money with no follow through on their end. I finally was able to get a attorney who is consistent and is not trying to rip me off from every dollar possible.

So here it goes! I’ve been dreading making this review for YEARS but I’m simply fed up and TIRED. My case has been going on for 4 YEARS! I have been patient, I have done everything required of me, I have called, and left messages continuously and I’m tired of being ignored and put on the back burner. They have passed my case on to 5 different lawyers including Chris Morrow who just up & accepted another career in the middle of my case without even giving me a heads up. I had to find out through my new lawyer. I was rear ended by an officer ON CAMERA and absolutely nothing was done. Instead they allowed the other side to flip the case and make it about me instead of punishing the officer responsible. So yes the officer is still working and probably still rear ending folks. Years later I still sit here with a broken back and a broken neck in 3 places. No one has returned ANY of my calls or emails what so ever. I don’t even know the status of my case anymore and I honestly don’t care bc it isn’t worth it anymore. I’m finally giving up. It has been a stressful 4years. This case has taken everything out of me. My body May never be the same again, I may never be able to do the things I enjoy again. Now I’m being told that my current lawyer CASEY ARCHER is now working on someone else’s case. Again, I was not notified, got no returned calls, not even a heads up and this has been going on for 4YEARS!!! Will be 5yrs soon. They work on your case for 1-2 business days then a week later to no knowledge of your own, you now have a new lawyer. I just simply wanted my case resolved, medical expenses paid for, my neck & back FIXED and for the officer who rear ended me to be held accountable. If I were any other race, the case would have been solved sooner. But since I’m minority fighting a case against a guilty officer I have to go through hoops and loops to prove my innocence. I was let down and have been for years. I should have just stayed with Lorenz & Lorenz. This was by far the worse experience with a law office. Would not recommend. I wasn’t treated like a priority, or like I mattered. There was never any urgency. So to those involved, Chris Morrow, Casey Archer, David Komie, Larry, everyone! Thanks for letting me down once again. To anyone who is inquiring help from them, DONT. It won’t be worth it, and you are not a priority.
