I have always been leery of lawyers. Because of my aversion, I avoided contacting an attorney until late in my case. I had tried to navigate the workers compensation system myself and naively thought that because I had been a model patient for my doctors that everything would work out. The consequence of this inaction was the work comp insurance company attempted to shut me out of further treatment and cut me off from my benefits, even though I was still injured. Andrew Traub was recommended to me by my neighbors when we were having issues with a geothermal HVAC contractor. The unit was on month 3 (!!!!) of installation with no end in sight. They will increase their fee to 40% if they file a lawsuit which Jesse never mentions. I understand it's in the contract but he never asked me if I wanted to file one, he did it without my permission and never once mention the loss increase for me when he told me about it. I only recognized this after the final bill.. so look out for that. Jesse told me specifically they wouldn't make a penny more than me, and they ended getting a thousand dollars more than me?? Why even tell me that?.. Give me $999.99 Makes no sense to me why jesse a guy I don't know would make more than me off my own pain and suffering. Especially for how long this all took.
