If you are looking for a lawyer to represent you in a workman's comp case, you've found the perfect person in Charles (Chip) Powell. He is honest, sincere & tenacious . He handles things calmly taking great lengths to explain them. But, don't let his calm, polite demeanor deter you from hiring him. He will fight fiercely for your rights and your settlement. It's a nerve-wracking experience and you want somebody who will always be by your side and knows the law inside and out. He handled all the communication with w/c alleviating all that stress from me, fought for me when they continually threatened to stop benefits, and won EVERY TIME. He knows the law and he won't give in to them over the smallest thing. He fights for you and sees you receive the best care. Care that YOU DESERVE AND ARE LEGALLY allowed. I couldn't have asked for better. My Mom went through a Workers' Comp case once and it was a nightmare for her, so I know how bad it could have gone if I chose the wrong Lawyer. I NEVER had to deal with a minute of that with Chip. Every hoop, obstacle, foot drag and obfuscation thrown up by the opposition was quickly mowed down by Chip. It was a VERY nice feeling to not feel a single moments concern whenever the opposition would try some trick or maneuver. It didn't matter, I KNEW Chip would slap it down and it would just be another failed attempt by them in the rear view mirror. They dragged out my case for 6 years. I was paid every week while it happened and I received a VERY nice settlement. Go with Chip, trust me, you're gonna win.
