My wife was ticketed by a police sting on grubhub drivers delivering alcohol. This was a misdemeanor charge. They used a dummy minor (17 years old, but he looked like he was in his 20's. This guy was buffer than any 17 year old Id ever met.) We hired Jerry and Julissa. A couple months later, they got the DA to dismiss the charge in a special hearing before the arraignment. My wife was out of the country during the hearing, while Jerry and Julissa were handling everything. They were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Jerry is your go to criminal lawyer!! I was charged with something that would have ruined my life. The first time I met him for our consultation, he explained everything to my mother and I in detail on what can happen and what he plans to do to help me. I have spent over a year(s) (mid 2019-2021)searching for an expert Criminal Law Attorney that will not only accept, but who will actually provide insight, keep me updated, and provide true results, regarding a difficult and complicated “Determinate, Post Conviction” criminal case for a loved one in prison. I was referred to Mr Lebeau by another attorney in Long Beach for a restraining order against me that I was unaware of. Other attorneys I hired had not been able to find the restraining order to help me take care of it. Mr Lebeau was tenacious in his investigation, despite opposition by LBPD and the DA to produce evidence of a judge's order. Mr Lebeau was thorough and successful in presenting to the court that there was no legal grounds for the restraining order. In addition, he had it removed from my record retroactively, which allowed me to move forward more expeditiously. He succeeded where others had failed. I recommend him for his skill at producing excellent results from difficult circumstances!

I was falsely accused of attempted murder on a local university campus. Although a key witness denied seeing any violence imposed on the accuser, and there was no physical evidence of an assault, I was arrested because I'm a "big dude," and the accuser was a "small girl" (actual explanation by campus police). Mr. Matsuk's diligence on my case got my case thrown out by the DA, and I'm now able to pursue a career that requires background checks. I strongly recommend Mr. Matsuk, as he's forward in his disposition.

I retained Leonard Matsuk to handle a challenging case for my Godson. He had been convicted in the past when he was 18 y/o and was advised to plead no contest by his then public defender. The public defender met with my Godson for all of a few minutes as they were preparing to appear before the judge. This misdemeanor conviction had some serious immigration liabilities for my Godson. The only way to remove this conviction was to put a motion before the Judge to get the original conviction overturned or dismissed by the court. Leonard explained that there would be several roadblocks to overcome in a case like this. Generally, prosecutors and Judges do not like to go back and dismiss a conviction. So knowing it would be a challenge I believed Leonard would do his best. And he did, with Leonard’s legal knowledge and strategy along with all the good and positive contributions documented about my Godson giving back to our community. The motion was put together by Leonard. In the end, Leonard presented the motion to dismiss to the Lead Prosecutor and they did not block it. I was in the court last week when Leonard Matsuk addressed the motion before the judge, he answered the judge’s questions. The prosecutor advised the judge they were not blocking the motion. And the court room challenge was over, the judge overturned or vacated the original conviction thanks to Leonard Matsuk and his legal skills and knowledge. So here is my perspective on this case, and of Leonard’s work. Leonard was honest and upfront from the beginning about this case. He explained to us the challenges involved and the slim possibility of success with this matter. However always pleasant and in a down to earth manner, Leonard answered our concerns, he was available by phone and email. So I extend my gratitude to Leonard Matsuk for a job well done. I highly recommend his legal services, he is a good person! Oh and Sue who is his Legal Assistant is awesome too! Thank you, both.

I had some legal issues I needed help with and I was living abroad at the time. I was really unsure about who to use and was getting various quotes and opinions from so many lawyers. Many years ago Mr. Hill helped me with a legal matter that I was dealing with. I did not understand all that was going on, and I must admit that it was hard for me to let go of the control I had held on to so tightly. and trust someone else with my life. I had a lot going on, I was dealing with divorce, and some other stuff at the same time. I am glad that I let Mr. Hill handles some legal matters for me. After we both tested each other to see what the truth was I felt comfortable using Mr. Hill services. There were still some things that I had to handle on my own. Plus, even though Mr. Hill charged a fair amount for his time and service, I had limited financial resources. I am thankful for the part of my legal matter the Mr. Hill was able to resolve. I would highly recommend Mr. Hill. Even if you don't fully understand his methods, Mr. Hill is worth letting go of the 'control'. He knows his job, and is a good lawyer. At times Mr. Hill feels under appreciated, but he still does his job. It may seem as if it's all about the money for Mr. Hill, but that is not the case. He thrives on winning. He reminds me of every sports player I have ever seen play. The sports player goal is to win the game. A Lawyers goal is to win the case. Different area, same goal. Win or lose. It's all about how you play the game. Mr. Hill plays with a winning spirit. That is someone who I want on my team. The victories are much sweeter, and the loses...well you win some. you lose some. you regroup, re-strategize, and you play again.

I strongly recommend Greg Hill & Associates if you have been charged with a traffic violation. His knowledge is extensive and incredibly well explained. I had three prior felonies that I wanted reduced under 17(b). After numerous hours of internet searching, and consulting with three different lawyers, I was told that due to a receiving a prison sentence, it could not be reduced under 17(b). I found Mr. Hill. He said that it depends on the judge. He was right. I retained him and he got them all reduced under 17(b). His price was amazing for what he accomplished. I am incredibly happy to have found Mr. Hill. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Hill to anyone needing comparable results.

This would've been my second excess of 100mph charge. After the first one I got when I was 18 I didn't wanna find out what a second offense would be like. License suspension, $1000 fine, 3 points on my record I didn't wanna take a chance. I called David met him at his office for a consultation. I decided he's the guy for the job. The day of the hearing he calls me while I'm at home and tells me the good news. Case dismissed! I couldn't belive it. Mr.Dastrup, going forward will be the attorney I would recommend to friends and family as well as for me if I run into trouble again.

I got a speeding ticket on a street near my house. It was my first ticket in 7 years, so I assumed that I could go to traffic school to avoid having the ticket appear on my record; but when I logged on to the court website to pay my ticket, it said that traffic school was not available to me. I found out that the speed recorded on the ticket was 1 mph more than the amount permitted for traffic school. So I looked online to see if there was a traffic ticket lawyer in my area that might be able to request traffic school for me. I called the office of David Dastrup, in Long Beach, and left a message with the receptionist. Mr. Dastrup called me back right away and answered all of my questions. I told him that this was my first ticket in 7 years, and he explained to me that the amount of time between tickets wouldn’t help me in court; he said that many people go for a long time before getting a ticket… it doesn’t always mean they didn’t speed the entire time… it just means they hadn’t been caught yet. He did say that he might be able to request traffic school and possibly even lower the fine a bit. I told him that I was only concerned with keeping the ticket off of my record, and not really that concerned about the fine. The fee he quoted me for his services was much lower than I expected, so I jumped at the chance. Mr. Dastrup has an online portal for sending/receiving documents and for messaging, and he was very good about keeping me updated on my case, via the portal. After my trial (which I did not need to attend), Mr. Dastrup called me and told me that he was able to get the judge to lower the speeding amount so I could go to traffic school, AND he took almost 2/3rds off of the fine amount! I couldn’t believe it; I thought for sure that I would end up with the ticket on my record for years, and that I would be saying to myself, “Well, at least I tried.” I could never have accomplished this without the help and expertise of Mr. Dastrup. Thanks to him, the results were above and beyond what I expected. Mr. Dastrup is very knowledgeable, friendly, a good listener, great with maintaining communication, and charges very reasonable fees. Highly recommended!

Just wanted to give another shout out to for getting my criminal case dismissed. I already said this but so grateful in the new year. I know they said this doesn’t always happen but it worked for me. Simply put, stuff went wrong accidentally and I needed help. I didn't know what to do at first but remembered my friend had hired an attorney for speed contest racing and license suspension in Los Angeles. Apparently that's a crime. So he hired this lawyer.
