Steve and his staff are amazing!!!! Steve was so patient with my crazy anxiety phone calls, emails and office visits. He has a calm, laid back demeanor but when it comes time to advocate for his client watch out because you will see the bulldog!! He got me more than I expected in my divorce but also gave me a much needed dose of reality when it came to what all divorce entails. His fees were fair compared to other lawyers I consulted. I also loved the fact that the fees never changed, there was never a surprise. The price he said was what it was. He also had a an office therapy dog (that's at least what I called her) which was much needed during my zoom cases. His staff was awesome too. Wendy is the sweetest lady & quick to respond. Levi was always so polite with his southern charm. Hopefully I'll never need his services again but if I do ever find myself needing a lawyer I will definitely call Steve again ☺

If you Hire this lawyer!! In Florida there’s a reputation that it’s a “Mother Only-State” vs Share custody or even full custody friendly, Mr. Leskovich will fight for your rights and for your child’s. Thanks to him, I was able to get the full custody of my child and protect her from a bad environment. I was told it couldn’t be done by many people and he assured me, that if it was necessary, he will make sure my daughter is back home safe with me. Thanks also to his assistant Wendy, which answered all my emails and questions and was up to date with any new development. Please do not hire this man to be your lawyer. I am a single mother of two young boys, I went to him out of desperation for my divorce. He promised me everything would be OK and that he would do whatever it took to help me with my divorce and childsupport case. I had already started the process for the parenting plan and all that and for the divorce. And I ended up basically paying $3000 and he did nothing but send some emails. it comes time to get updates on your case, he will be no help.. his staff is also very unprofessional and don't ever know what is going on. Don't expect calls back not even emails back. I am extremely disappointed with his service. He will take your money and run. Even now I still need help with my full custody case which he also said was gonna get done and nothing! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN FOR ANYTHING!!!

I am not sure how to feel about retaining Miguel Fernandez's services as my Private Attorney. I was mostly confident, somewhat unsure, about his services from the time that I hired him to my final court date. Throughout the process, I felt as though he was not taking me as seriously as he should have, probably since I am in my early 20's. However, I feel as though that should have been all the more reason for him to take me more seriously, considering I have various events to look forward to in my life, such as college graduation, searching for a career, and one day starting a family. I showed up to my final court date, and minutes before going in to face the judge, Attorney Fernandez threatened not to represent me, claiming that my final payment, which was due a month prior, was in arrears. I confidently assured him that the payment had been made by a relative the day before it was due, and that my relative even spoke with him personally that day, which she did. In a moment of dismay, even though I was sure the payment had been made, I offered to stop by his office immediately after court to deposit the money that he insisted had not been paid. He stated that I knew there was nothing he could do for me on that day had he not already been paid in full. At this point, I turned to another relative, who drove me to court that day, because he was also there when the payment was made, and he also confidently assured Attorney Fernandez that the payment was made on time. Miguel Fernandez proceeded to tell me that he was not going to argue with me. I asked, "What are you going to do when you go back to your office and realize that you have been paid and you chose not to represent me?" At this point he stepped away for a few minutes to call his office. When he returned, he apologized, and said "I am not very happy with my office right now" which did absolutely nothing for me because I could feel my heart beating out of my chest and my mind was racing in panic, wondering how I was going to face the judge alone and what I was going to say. Attorney Fernandez lost all credibility with me at this point, as did the individuals that occupy his office. I questioned him on whether he was truly looking out for my best interest considering I am a college student and will be looking for a career within the coming years, or if my Driving Under the Influence case had just fell by the wayside over the last month because he thought he hadn't been paid for his services, and therefore didn't adequately service me. I can actually say that I have been experiencing a great sense of regret every day since I entered a plead of "No contest" and gave up my right of being innocent until proven guilty. I honestly feel like he did not have my best interest in mind, and only claimed to have my best interest in mind, and that this was my best option, because he was personally too embarrassed to admit how unprofessionally my case was handled. By the time I went in to see the judge I was so flustered that I could hardly focus on the situation at hand, and what was being said, because of the situation that happened minutes before. I could not express, in words, the way that I felt that day. I felt like I was taken advantage of, and like I was lied to. I still feel remorse, and think about it every day that passes. I wish that I had chosen to go a different route, and even wonder if I would've been better off hiring a public defender.

We first called Terry McCreary in about 2011, He is easy to work with and doesn't leave you wondering what will happen next. He tells you what needs to be done and if he doesn't have the ability he knows which route to lead you in. Never any problems. Fair prices if your wondering, but with any criminal justice lawyer, you get what you pay for. Hope this helps someone.
