We agreed to Archie for a trial and every court date, IF he bothered to showed up, we had to retell him what happened and he encouraged my son to plea out, although he quoted us and promised a trial. In the end he took our money and withdrew from at the case last minute. We hired a more competent attorney to represent my son. To be fair I have not had personal workings with this corporation I read how wonderful and understanding they were and I am in a very terrible situation due to the time I have to live and other issues. I just asked a few questions but they were the coldest people while giving any feedback I've ever heard on the phone. It hurts me so badly that people are going through this and are being treated like they're doing something wrong and no one understands. In our case we needed a parole hold aka parole violation dropped. This was clearly stated and Goad request $3800.00. For this fee he says he will have the hold dropped but to handle your new charge will be additional charges!! Ok but we only need you to handle parole. 1 month goes by then 2 ....After a vacation for Goad and 3 months later. we have a parole hearing , calling Goad to let him know says i wasn't retained for this... corrected by his own secretary as she shows him contract .. yes he was retained for parole violation.. says to my fiancee... I don't know why I told you this I haven't done a parole hearing in 20 years. YOUR SCREWED YOUR GOING BACK TO PRISON. So here we are a lawyer paid in full to do something he now claims he doesn't know what he was thinking or why he said what he said to his client . Hes not capable of performing what he said he could do. Clearly he just does not want to do ,what he had no problem taking full payment for. It only gets worse cause nor will he withdraw so we can have the state appoint legal counsel . he doesn't want to do his job nor will he back down so someone else can. He's Playing with this mans life is what hes doing and this is no laughing matter. What reason does he have what right does he have to deny my fiancee the opportunity to a fair hearing with an unbiased attorney. we will not stop here. This story is going everywhere.

I called the Semrau Law Firm with my unusual case. It was a DUI from 14 years ago. Mr. Semrau did not fill me with unfounded hope or claims of unrealistic expectations in my initial call. Which is why I hired him, he was honest and upfront with me right from the start. Another factor that made my case slightly more of an issue, I no longer live in GA, nowhere near, in fact. So aside from it being an old case, I was not readily available to be able to sign anything or make appearances unless it was absolutely necessary. Once he got the police report and everything from the prosecutor, he gave me options, advised me on which would be best and gave me possible scenarios regarding the outcome. Throughout the roughly 9 months it took to complete my case, he stayed in contact with me, forwarded copies of everything to me regarding my case, what actions he had taken etc, so I was never in the dark about what was happening. In the end, he was able to get my case completely dismissed!! I could not be happier with the service I received. All I can tell you is I called them to inquire about possibly using their services for a simple expungement. The lady who answered took my info so that a lawyer could return my call when available. Towards the end I asked “ok you think that will be tomorrow?”, I’m attempt to get an idea so I didn’t miss the call. Lady did a 180 on me and rudely replied “I mean I can’t say, they’ll call you when he can call you”. I did 13 years in hospitality, so I get it. Maybe a bad day? Maybe she mistook my question for pushiness? I just took it and said thank you, I’ll wait for the call, goodbye. But now over a week later I never got a return call so I figured I would leave my feedback. If you want someone who has time to focus on your case, big or small, these guys are too busy.
