From the first call through the last court appearance I felt safe and secure. This was my first time ever being in trouble. I was a nervous wreck. Took care of my fiancé’s case for us! Tried multiple different attorneys which none of them would even contact us back!! I Called Chris’s office and his secretary gave me his personal phone number. Chris answered first time calling and started working on our case right then and there, plus answered any and all questions that we had. Mr. Spedding was an absolute God send for me!! I recently had an issue that required immediate action or I was going to be losing a lot in my life and the only way to fix it was to have an attorney. It was a minor legal issue, a court date had been rescheduled, I didn't receive notice so I missed it and a FTA warrant was issued for me. This isn't a big thing, but when your livelihood could be lost it is big. What made it worse was that the county I live in is small enough that the sheriff's office was going to track me down until they found me even though this wasn't a warrant issued by my county and was a very minor issue. They kept lying and acting like I could just come in and be booked, court rescheduled, and released. Thank goodness I'm not completely naive. So, I spent hours the day after they came to my parent's looking for me calling every attorney I could and Fayette County court offices trying to handle it myself but it wasn't happening. Every attorney wanted no less than $500 to contact the judge's office to have the warrant set aside and a new date scheduled. I am a single mom of three boys so I didn't have the $500 upfront and the total that the other's wanted was going to hurt me majorly financially. Mr. Spedding was out that day so I had left a message for him expecting it to be a lost cause because he would charge around the same amount and probably wouldn't accept less than $500 for the retainer. Fast forward to Monday morning. I received a return phone call from Mr. Spedding early that morning. I explained what I needed and shared what information I had gathered the Friday before expecting to hit another brick wall when the topic of payment came up. He told me that what the other attorneys wanted to charge was the same as what he would charge and would also require $500 up front. I thanked him for his time and told him I was unable to do that at this time but if I did figure out how to make the payment I would call him back. When I told him this he did something I wasn't expecting, he made a deal with me that I could afford. I am beyond thankful for Mr. Spedding. He helped me when no one else would. He ensured I was not going to lose my job, wouldn't have to be arrested (which I have never been to jail), and got my new court date. He did this immediately too!! I was able to breathe again! He was thorough when explaining my rights and options to me, he treated me respect, and was an overall great attorney! I would highly recommend Mr. Spedding to anyone who needs legal counsel.

I used Mr Eph Helton a few years back for my divorce. He is very good. My prior attorney was terrible and would just stand there in front of the judge pretty much in silence. Not Mr Helton. And he will gladly advise you on what you need to do to help him help you win your case. He’s straight up and honest and he will tell you. He is very experienced in the court room and he will argue and question until he gets the truth out there for the judge to see. I highly doubt with his effort and knowledge/ years of experience- that he loses many cases. If he thought he couldn’t win your case - he wouldn’t take it. He works his butt off for you! And he’s worth every last penny.
