I received a traffic violation in upstate New York during a trip to visit some friends. A friend of mine had run into some really bad luck. While on his road trip to Albany, he was pulled over for speeding over 20 miles, in a work zone. FYI all fines for tickets in work zones are DOUBLED. If that wasn't enough bad fortune - the police officer also cited him for an Aggravated Unlicensed Operator ticket - mistakenly identifying him as someone else who had a suspended license. The Aggravated Unlicensed Operator is actually a criminal charge, and if not handled properly, even though my friend was innocent, he could have had his driving privileges revoked. Understanding the seriousness of the matter - I proceeded to contact all of the major criminal traffic defense attorneys in the Albany area. Received a cell phone ticket in Bethlehem and true to their word, for $250, I received no points on my license. The fine was still levied, but this is New York and you have to pay to wake up in the morning here. They were a little late providing me with the results of the case and I had to seek them out to obtain a copy of the fine/paperwork. That said, anyone with half a brain would know to call the town court. But it would have been nice to hear back from them sooner. Overall, a positive experience and I am grateful for their service.

Charged us $7500 to retain.. James tyner refused bail for a client basically leaving him in jail until he was ready! Never returned calls or emails at all! Also he had me meet him on a day their office was closed in a dark parking lot where the office is located with his wife and child just to get money for retainment fee! Very unprofessional!
