I could litter this review with my whole story... but I’ll shorten it and save the novel. They say insurance is to “transfer risk” and thus is why we should have health, auto, life, etc... but I think for some, an attorney would be considered as much insurance as those types previously mentioned. In a whirlwind of life events, I found myself facing a pretty rough legal situation. Jeff Linn got way more of a deal than what I, nor anyone who knew me, thought I would get. Then, in a pinch, he came to the immediate rescue, consoling my loved ones and helping to ease all of our minds. This is a guy who wakes up and goes to work to make a difference in the world and use his God given talents to change peoples lives. I will forever consider Jeff like family to us for all he has done. You’ll gain the help you need with him, but you’ll also gain a solid person to have on your side for life. And - he’s insanely reasonably priced. You will get everything you want and more.

Recently, my child’s father was represented by Joe Scott. I would give this firm no stars if that was an option. Joe Scott signed away the rights of a speedy trial without communicating this to his client. Joe Scott repeatedly messed up names of the victim, defendant, and witnesses. It was like he didn’t know the case. I do not feel as Joe put any effort into making sure his client has a fair chance of being seen as not guilty. Listening as an observer, was horrible. I know the members in the jury were as confused, when he would cross examine. Mind you, this case has been on his desk for a year. He came into court and couldnt start trial due to a schedule conflict. He knew he had trial starting 3 months in advance and still went ahead and made other arrangements, waited until he was in front of the judge to be notify anyone he couldn’t start trial. He contacted the clients bondsman after his client did not respond promptly to his phone call. So the client spent his last free week in the county. Bond revoked due to the lawyer. Not very often you hear this. Last, I will state that’s Joe Scott spent more time in the bathroom with the prosecutor on the first day of trial then any other lawyer I have met. I timed from the moment Joe and prosecutor walked out, watched them go into the bathroom and come out. Joe would turn his back on the client just to speak with anyone else about their kids, dogs, weekend, etc. Joe also signed a waiver to continue the case when the prosecutor wasn’t ready. He did not tell his client this until it was announced in court. He was not interested in this case. He did not get his clients alibi subpoena to court. He just did awful and now his client who had proof that he was not apart of a robbery will sit in prison for the next 10 years. So disappointed with this lawyer, and honestly I would never recommend this firm to anyone. Not even for a civil matter.

If you find yourself in need of an attorney, it can be tough to find one you like and who will also get the job done to your satisfaction. If you are bombarded by mail from law offices within days of an offense and/or google lawyers, you’ll most certainly feel an added sense of shock, confusion, and frustration on top of everything. It is easy to feel overwhelmed when researching lawyers: you have to find and choose just one person out of a mass quantity to (hopefully) help you through and out of a negative situation. Oh, and if you do your research (via Internet and word of mouth), you’ll find Mr. Binning’s fees are reasonable. They are most definitely worth it. I hired Dave Johnson to represent me in an ongoing legal matter. Dave was very quick to respond initially and it never ceased. I was charged with an F3 in Delaware County and plead not guilty at the arraignment they came at me with no deal at pretrial which was a shock so from that point we proceeded with trial and throughout the two-day length of the trial the jury came back and returned a not-guilty verdict which obviously made my day. Mr. Johnson done a wonderful job and I would recommend him for any case rather it is a low profile or a much more serious charge. Now I'm able to go back home with my one year old son and celebrate his birthday and what a celebration it is to have been represented by an Attorney who knows what he's doing and is reliable as you can get when it comes to representation and brilliance in the courtroom. I received a Hazmat violation in Columbus on I-71. Googled, Hazmat Attorneys in Ohio and Attorney Riddell came highly recommended. This was my first offense and i was very nervous about how this may turn out and he assured me that all would be ok.
