Its always stressful when you need the services of an attorney. When I called Joslyn Law Firm,I was surprised and thankful for the fast returned call. Especially since it was after 8 pm. ( Who does that?) (( This guy)). When I meet him, he quickly made me feel better about my situation, while being upfront about no guarantees I still felt confident in his abilities and commitment to the situation at hand. He was diligent and quick with an outcome. ( In my favor I might add.) While my case was probably small in comparison to most, he seemed to take it as serious as I believe he would have any. Much appreciated, and I would highly recomend.

Recently, my child’s father was represented by Joe Scott. I would give this firm no stars if that was an option. Joe Scott signed away the rights of a speedy trial without communicating this to his client. Joe Scott repeatedly messed up names of the victim, defendant, and witnesses. It was like he didn’t know the case. I do not feel as Joe put any effort into making sure his client has a fair chance of being seen as not guilty. Listening as an observer, was horrible. I know the members in the jury were as confused, when he would cross examine. Mind you, this case has been on his desk for a year. He came into court and couldnt start trial due to a schedule conflict. He knew he had trial starting 3 months in advance and still went ahead and made other arrangements, waited until he was in front of the judge to be notify anyone he couldn’t start trial. He contacted the clients bondsman after his client did not respond promptly to his phone call. So the client spent his last free week in the county. Bond revoked due to the lawyer. Not very often you hear this. Last, I will state that’s Joe Scott spent more time in the bathroom with the prosecutor on the first day of trial then any other lawyer I have met. I timed from the moment Joe and prosecutor walked out, watched them go into the bathroom and come out. Joe would turn his back on the client just to speak with anyone else about their kids, dogs, weekend, etc. Joe also signed a waiver to continue the case when the prosecutor wasn’t ready. He did not tell his client this until it was announced in court. He was not interested in this case. He did not get his clients alibi subpoena to court. He just did awful and now his client who had proof that he was not apart of a robbery will sit in prison for the next 10 years. So disappointed with this lawyer, and honestly I would never recommend this firm to anyone. Not even for a civil matter.

Richard came highly recommended by a very respected friend in the legal industry. At first he seemed interested in my issue and asked me to drop off additional information for review. After not hearing from him for about ten days I left a message which went unreturned and have left three additional messages since; all of which have gone unanswered. If he was not interested in my issue at least he could have been professional enough to give me a personal response rather than a blowoff!

I hired Mr. Riddell after receiving a ticket in Columbus a few weeks ago. I am very pleased with the service he provided. He takes care of everything associated with your ticket for a very reasonable flat fee. I live about three hours from Columbus so the fee was actually cheaper than travelling and missing work. If you ever have any traffic related legal problems in Columbus Mr Riddell is the man to call. You will not regret it.

I received a Hazmat violation in Columbus on I-71. Googled, Hazmat Attorneys in Ohio and Attorney Riddell came highly recommended. This was my first offense and i was very nervous about how this may turn out and he assured me that all would be ok. He was very knowledgeable about the law and very understanding about truckers as if he has placed himself in our shoes with certain aspects of the law. He walked me through what actions we were going to take going forward with the case. Told me his goal and what he was seeking to achieve. And he did just what he said. No points against my CDL. Colin represented me on charges that I was facing which could have cost me $1000 in fines, possible 30 day jail time, and license suspension. He took time to listen and asked thoughtful questions about my story. I talked to over 10 lawyers to try and find the right one to represent me and I am really happy that I chose Colin. He was able to get charges dropped and the fine down to $50 plus court costs ($200 ish). Colin's representation fee was also very fair and on the lower end compared to a lot of the other lawyers that I had previously spoken to. I was able to reach him at any time via text, calling him, and via email. He is very responsive and it was a pleasure having him represent me. I hope to not require these services in the future, however if I ever would need them again, my number 1 choice would be Colin.

I could litter this review with my whole story... but I’ll shorten it and save the novel. They say insurance is to “transfer risk” and thus is why we should have health, auto, life, etc... but I think for some, an attorney would be considered as much insurance as those types previously mentioned. In a whirlwind of life events, I found myself facing a pretty rough legal situation. Jeff Linn got way more of a deal than what I, nor anyone who knew me, thought I would get. Then, in a pinch, he came to the immediate rescue, consoling my loved ones and helping to ease all of our minds. This is a guy who wakes up and goes to work to make a difference in the world and use his God given talents to change peoples lives. I will forever consider Jeff like family to us for all he has done. You’ll gain the help you need with him, but you’ll also gain a solid person to have on your side for life. And - he’s insanely reasonably priced. You will get everything you want and more.

I cannot say enough good things about Mr Wolfe. I had been dealing with a probation term that was supposed to be finished after 1 year, I ended up serving right around 4 years out of five, with absolutely no issues, no failed drug tests or any violations, as well as flying back and forth between Massachusetts and Ohio MULTIPLE times to go to court and deal with the overcrowded system in Ohio that treats everyone subhuman. He agreed to take my case to clear an unfair warrant due to covid and an unruly probation officer who did not even give me a chance to reschedule before filing a warrant for my arrest. Mr Wolfe took my case, got a hearing in front of the judge the next day and within about 45 min of showing up at the courthouse I was walking out a free man after four years of waiting. THANK YOU!! I cannot recommend him enough! He is gracious, understanding, diligent, quick and charged me HALF of what I would have paid at every other law firm I contacted (if not more than 2x like a few quoted me). I absolutely will be recommending this firm to everyone I know whenever they need legal advice or counsel, we'll worth every penny. Thanks again, and if your on the edge about calling, do it!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR GAMBLE WITH YOUR LIFE. He is a horrible lawyer with no clue on what hes doing. A first year law student could have gotten my case dismissed, and he constantly had no clue what to do. Once I finally switched lawyers, my case did get dismissed thank god. He is horribly unprofessional, and treated me as if he had better things to do. I pray for people that are facing serious jail time with him as a lawyer, as he had no idea how to handle my case correctly, and it was just a minor obstructing case. His secretary is an absolute sweetheart though, and she is the only nice thing I have to say about that place.
