Recently, my child’s father was represented by Joe Scott. I would give this firm no stars if that was an option. Joe Scott signed away the rights of a speedy trial without communicating this to his client. Joe Scott repeatedly messed up names of the victim, defendant, and witnesses. It was like he didn’t know the case. I do not feel as Joe put any effort into making sure his client has a fair chance of being seen as not guilty. Listening as an observer, was horrible. I know the members in the jury were as confused, when he would cross examine. Mind you, this case has been on his desk for a year. He came into court and couldnt start trial due to a schedule conflict. He knew he had trial starting 3 months in advance and still went ahead and made other arrangements, waited until he was in front of the judge to be notify anyone he couldn’t start trial. He contacted the clients bondsman after his client did not respond promptly to his phone call. So the client spent his last free week in the county. Bond revoked due to the lawyer. Not very often you hear this. Last, I will state that’s Joe Scott spent more time in the bathroom with the prosecutor on the first day of trial then any other lawyer I have met. I timed from the moment Joe and prosecutor walked out, watched them go into the bathroom and come out. Joe would turn his back on the client just to speak with anyone else about their kids, dogs, weekend, etc. Joe also signed a waiver to continue the case when the prosecutor wasn’t ready. He did not tell his client this until it was announced in court. He was not interested in this case. He did not get his clients alibi subpoena to court. He just did awful and now his client who had proof that he was not apart of a robbery will sit in prison for the next 10 years. So disappointed with this lawyer, and honestly I would never recommend this firm to anyone. Not even for a civil matter.

I could litter this review with my whole story... but I’ll shorten it and save the novel. They say insurance is to “transfer risk” and thus is why we should have health, auto, life, etc... but I think for some, an attorney would be considered as much insurance as those types previously mentioned. In a whirlwind of life events, I found myself facing a pretty rough legal situation. Jeff Linn got way more of a deal than what I, nor anyone who knew me, thought I would get. Then, in a pinch, he came to the immediate rescue, consoling my loved ones and helping to ease all of our minds. This is a guy who wakes up and goes to work to make a difference in the world and use his God given talents to change peoples lives. I will forever consider Jeff like family to us for all he has done. You’ll gain the help you need with him, but you’ll also gain a solid person to have on your side for life. And - he’s insanely reasonably priced. You will get everything you want and more.

If you should find yourself in need of a good criminal defense attorney.....which I hope you do not ... But if you should , give these folks a ring. I was more than pleased with the outcome of my case and the ease with which they made a worrisome process a little more comfortable. I hired Dave Johnson to represent me in an ongoing legal matter. Dave was very quick to respond initially and it never ceased. I was charged with an F3 in Delaware County and plead not guilty at the arraignment they came at me with no deal at pretrial which was a shock so from that point we proceeded with trial and throughout the two-day length of the trial the jury came back and returned a not-guilty verdict which obviously made my day. Mr. Johnson done a wonderful job and I would recommend him for any case rather it is a low profile or a much more serious charge. Now I'm able to go back home with my one year old son and celebrate his birthday and what a celebration it is to have been represented by an Attorney who knows what he's doing and is reliable as you can get when it comes to representation and brilliance in the courtroom. I cannot say enough good things about Mr Wolfe. I had been dealing with a probation term that was supposed to be finished after 1 year, I ended up serving right around 4 years out of five, with absolutely no issues, no failed drug tests or any violations, as well as flying back and forth between Massachusetts and Ohio MULTIPLE times to go to court and deal with the overcrowded system in Ohio that treats everyone subhuman. He agreed to take my case to clear an unfair warrant due to covid and an unruly probation officer who did not even give me a chance to reschedule before filing a warrant for my arrest. Mr Wolfe took my case, got a hearing in front of the judge the next day and within about 45 min of showing up at the courthouse I was walking out a free man after four years of waiting. THANK YOU!! I cannot recommend him enough! He is gracious, understanding, diligent, quick and charged me HALF of what I would have paid at every other law firm I contacted (if not more than 2x like a few quoted me). I absolutely will be recommending this firm to everyone I know whenever they need legal advice or counsel, we'll worth every penny. Thanks again, and if your on the edge about calling, do it!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR GAMBLE WITH YOUR LIFE. He is a horrible lawyer with no clue on what hes doing. A first year law student could have gotten my case dismissed, and he constantly had no clue what to do. Once I finally switched lawyers, my case did get dismissed thank god. He is horribly unprofessional, and treated me as if he had better things to do. I pray for people that are facing serious jail time with him as a lawyer, as he had no idea how to handle my case correctly, and it was just a minor obstructing case. His secretary is an absolute sweetheart though, and she is the only nice thing I have to say about that place.

Its always stressful when you need the services of an attorney. When I called Joslyn Law Firm,I was surprised and thankful for the fast returned call. Especially since it was after 8 pm. ( Who does that?) (( This guy)). When I meet him, he quickly made me feel better about my situation, while being upfront about no guarantees I still felt confident in his abilities and commitment to the situation at hand. For me the most important thing when going into a case is feeling comfortable and confident with your representation. Joe Edwards was always there when needed, any day just one call away. I got his number recommended from a different attorney, called and left and short message , and he called me back within 5 minutes. Always quick to respond to messages and takes his time to answer any and all questions that you may have regarding your case. He is willing to go above and beyond for you while keeping you in the loop of what is going on . There is no surprises, he is a man of his word with high integrity and professionalism.
