I initially hired this lawyer being told by someone that he was known to be one of the best attorney's in the area. I do believe at one time this statement was probably true. I'm guessing this was probably 5-10 years back when he was a little younger, had a fight in him to make or maybe keep the name he now has for himself that unfortunately no longer holds true. He is unfortunate to busy for his own schedule and therefore puts no extensive time into a case & no exaggeration you are truly lucky enough if "Tom Dickey" who you paid for shows up as he now has Pete and a few others handling some of his cases.. His response time is not timely, if they where even returned at all in most cases.. if you're looking for a piece of mind when it comes to having a lawyer on your case, steer clear of this place as you will feel uneasy, alone, and no better than if you had a public defender by your side.

JOB WELL DONE!! Mr. Dickey and his office handled some unusual circumstances for our family. It was a long road but they were very patient with our constant questions, fought hard when needed and, even though we knew he was running to the next client, he took the time needed to update us thoroughly. My mom gave him some good hugs and we are thankful for his dedication!!

Matt McClenahen has been the guardian angel for my criminal court case facing some serious consequences. Mr. Masorti handled my son's case which was fairly publicized and extremely serious. He kept us in the loop every step of the way. He answered our questions with honesty; talked to the D.A.; gave great-sounding advice; handled the press and saw the case through to the end. Phil was able to get the best possible outcome we could have hoped for for my son who was facing quite a few years in state prison. Phil worked his "magic" and got the sentence down to months in the county jail. Phil was definitely reasonably priced and was well worth the money we paid. Phil's a straight shooter with compassion. My son is a Penn State Student and due to some misunderstanding, he got into some trouble in the dorm resulting in a ticket from the campus police. I advised my son to seek help from J.D. Law. Jason responded to my son's request for consultation immediately and gave my son some very good advice. After the consultation, my son decided to have Jason handle the case for him. He guided my son through the entire process updating him with all the interactions with the judge and kept my son informed at all times. Finally, the case was dismissed. Found myself in the unusual position of needing legal help while away at school. A local friend referred me to Jason and what a Godsend! Everything I was expecting in my first dealings with an attorney was completely wrong. I expected a cold, calculating attorney who didn't care about his clients as much as his own practice. Mr. Marshall represented me about 2 years ago for my divorce and custody case. I switched an attorney after working with Julia Cronin Rater (I had very poor experience there) and it has changed my life. Not only Mr. Marshall's service cost was way less than previous attorney I hired, but the new experience working with legal representative was dramatically better. Since I started working with Lance, I flawlessly won all my cases in court. Also, Mr. Marshall has supported me emotionally throughout entire time. He is very understanding, that divorce and custody battle comes with tremendous stress, so he always was able to find right words to cheer me up and make me feel confident to keep going. From time to time, I still communicate with Mr. Marshall regarding child custody questions, that pop up here and there and he always finds time for me. Lance is professional but quiet. You do not hear from him unless he has something important to tell you, which is awesome because you’re not being charged for time on useless information. Very, very disappointed with this attorney. He provided no defense whatsoever and I believe my case could have been easily won. There were a lot of extenuating circumstance and improprieties with the stop but none of them were even remotely addressed. Had I known he was not going to push back at all, I would have defended myself and likely would have won. Mr. Marshall told me the trooper's dash cam video was NOT available to me when the state police's own website clearly shows that it is. You expect this type mendacity from the state but not from the people you hire to protect you. He seems like a nice enough guy and might be an adequate lawyer but when I sought redress after being violated by the police, I got nothing. If your case requires anything more than pandering to the cops and groveling in front of the judge, get a real lawyer. EDIT: Mr. Marshall has chosen to rebut my review (above) so here's some amplification. The two charges were speeding (seven miles over the limit (72/65)) and “failure to immediately extinguish a turn signal after changing lanes" (this was cited while on the exit ramp turning off the interstate) and there were multiple irregularities with the stop itself. When I explained the circumstances to Lance, his exact words were: “In all fairness, he was just doing his job.” Not exactly the stance you want your lawyer to take. That really should have told me all I needed to know about this lawyer but I elected to proceed. He advised me to set a court date and then nothing happened. Nothing whatsoever. As the court date approached, I called and was told, “I’ve reached out to the officer but he hasn’t returned my call.” Apparently that was the sum total of his pre-trial efforts. When that didn’t work, he was done. Concerning the dash-cam video, I was summarily and unequivocally told it was not available to me. Later, I find a link at the state police’s own website specifically for requesting dash-cam video. In his rebuttal, Mr. Marshall walks it back some more: “[I]f the client really wanted to see the video, he could have had a hearing and presumably, the Trooper would have played the video and we would have all seen it.” If I really wanted to see it? If? If?? Are you serious?! I walked in the door asking you to look at the dash-cam! I told you what it would show and why I wanted to see it and you specifically told me it was not available. And now you openly admit I could have gotten it! Finally, Mr. Marshall makes this seemingly accurate statement: “Ultimately, it is the client's decision whether to fight the case or not. In this case, the client is the one who made the choice to accept the plea deal that was offered.” Well, that’s true enough but the client also has the right to receive adequate and accurate information from his lawyer before making a decision. I was prepared to fight the case (or else I would have just paid the ticket and saved attorney's fees) and I am convinced had the court been made aware of the circumstances, I would have prevailed. Unfortunately for me, I hired a lawyer who misinformed and under-represented me. So, in the interest of accurate information -- something I didn’t get -- read all the reviews (not just mine) and you’ll see a clear pattern of under-representation. He spent more time on his rebuttal than he did on my defense. It’s not my intention to smear anyone and, in fact, I brought these concerns to Mr. Marshall privately but he was unwilling to assume any responsibility. I was violated by the police and later by my attorney. My money is gone and I have a conviction on my otherwise flawless driving record. Maybe in future Mr. Marshall will spend his time actually defending his clients so that he doesn’t later have to spend the time rebutting them on Google reviews.

Attorney Muir is intelligent, compassionate, caring. He understands the laws and he helped us to understand the situation my son was in and the best way to proceed. He was incredibly accommodating to our questions and answered them honestly and efficiently. After we were at the Magistrates office, a situation regarding paperwork for my son’s work came up and we needed additional help. We were not sure if Attorney Muir would be able to help or not because it did not pertain to his area of law. He went out of his way, literally, he went to the Magistrates and Court House to get us the documents we needed so my son was able to get the clearances he needed for his work. He did not charge us any additional fees. Any phone calls we made to the office were answered or returned quickly. If you need an Attorney, I highly recommend Attorney Muir.

Great Representation!! From the first meeting to sentencing, the professionalism and communication was there. Both Attorney Muir and Associate Carrie listen to your concerns and follow through with their responsibilities for you. I always felt taken care of. From the beginning, they were adamantly recommended by a personal friend of mine. In his experience, he had every charge completely dropped in a past court case. After knowing this and meeting with Mr. Muir and Carrie, I was sure this was my team. In regards to my case, the preliminary hearing resulted in half of my charges dropped. On then the next court date, I was able to plea down to 4 Days in Jail, and 32 Days House arrest. Finally, the Sentencing Date came. I went into the Court House prepared for the jail time, but it didn't quite go down this way. Before you know it, their was some discrepancies in the District Attorney's Case, and subsequently only sentence to 10 Days house arrest. I couldn't believe it!! This was all due to the attention to detail by Attorney Muir. He was thinking on his feet and challenging the extent of the charges compared to the actual evidence they had. In short, I'm a free, very fortunate man that was represented the way we as civilians are supposed to be. -Thank you Mr. Muir, I recommend your services to anyone looking to be represented.

Honestly if your a colored student at Indiana University Of Pennsylvania. Your better off finding a lawyer that cares. My case could’ve been easily thrown out with no Probabtion time. He legit did not fight for me or made me feel comfortable only thing he cared about was my money. And if he will be paid now I’m still wondering if I could’ve made a better judgement in a lawyer!

Attorney Flower* (not 'Flowers' with a letter 'S') certainly was worth the 1500+ USD fees in The Land of the "You Get What You Pay For" & The Home of the "Plea Agreements". . . (-: However, as this is also The Land of the "Conflicts of Interest", which is invoked in place of "we prefer not to represent you again", (unless, ofc, you might be privileged enough to 'be in the good graces with' the right person/ people there . . . Either way, this Establishment's Offerings might be worth a try, for perhaps a one-shot deal, [ if you can afford the higher-than- most competitors in this field ] fees that frequently [ but Not Always ] have the best chance to obtain the most favorable outcome in Court for your unique situation.
