Rob is the real deal. He will actually text or call you on his time off to discuss your case. He very professional and courteous, but most of all he will actually look at your discovery and start to fight from day one. My case could have went left but Rob fought and all my charges were dismissed except one traffic infraction and even with that, he got the fine waived. His reviews are REAL. Rick is the rare multi-practice attorney who actually knows more than one trick. He seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of estate planning. Given virtually any scenario, Rick can cite personal and/or professional experience he's had with that very situation. He's mainly written wills and other documents for me and my family. However, I've also had the privilege of watching him at work in the courthouse as a trial attorney. He generally has a good rapport with clients, fellow lawyers and judges who comprise the 23rd Judicial District. He gets the job done efficiently and with good humor.

Michelle Derrico represented me for a reasonable fee, showed great interest in my case, was sensitive to my concerns, and open to my input. She researched and built a case which she deployed in court to great affect. My case could have potentially resulted in suspension of my license, or a jail sentence. I got into some trouble at Lock’n in 2019. I asked for a miracle, and Cam Warren answered. Each case has sentencing guidelines that will show you the minimum and maximum time requested for jail time. He had my boyfriend agree to 5 months when the maximum guideline was 3 months. I am currently pregnant and Matt made it clear he did not want to be hired to help with a furlough so dad could be present at babies birth. I was told 1000 and he would be escorted by an officer. That is for funerals not a child’s birth. Matt was very rude. The new lawyer requested 400 and dad will be out for 7 days for babies birth. The new lawyer also showed me the sentencing guidelines on the computer yesterday and does not understand why Matt would’ve gotten someone to agree to more time. Do not waste your money on Matt Pack and if you get court appointed to him I highly recommend you get someone else. He does not care and will not fight for your rights. His attitude sucks.

I was pulled over in May for a 86/65. A very serious case but Joel was able to reduce the reckless driving charge to an improper control/ driving ticket, which i just need to pay a $350 fine and $74 in court costs. a VERY good outcome. Joel and his team were very professional and informative throughout the whole process. I would recommend him to anyone in southern Virginia with a traffic ticket.

If you are a student in the area and become involved in a Title IX matter, Joel Jackson is the guy to call. I can't thank Joel enough. He is hands down the best attorney in the area and will fight for you in the court room and guide you through the Title IX process at your university. He is professional and always responds to texts/emails in a timely fashion. My case lasted 6+ months and Joel never made me feel like I was on the backburner. When he works with you, he makes you a priority. His fees are reasonable and well worth it. Don't invest in a lazy attorney. You need someone who is willing to do the work to put you in the best position and that is exactly what Joel will do for you. If you are a student at Va Tech or Radford University and find yourself accused of a Title 9 violation then you NEED Joel Jackson!!! He is honest, compassionate, direct, and very knowledgeable about Title 9 and the tremendously detailed and time consuming process that is involved with these cases as well as the paperwork and quick deadlines that are involved. DO NOT try to navigate this system yourself. No matter what the school says, it is in YOUR best interest to contact a lawyer. Our experience gave us an outcome that we could not have achieved on our own.

Jordan has represented me on two occasions, both for moving traffic violations. In the first case, he had the ticket dismissed, and the second ended up with reduced charges. Michael Hartley helped me with a traffic issue in Virginia. Since it was during the height of COVID (plus I live in FL), I never met him face-to-face.
