I was referred to Travis Spears during my divorce after my previous attorney moved out of town. In all fairness...I did not deal directly with Mr. Walker. I did however speak with whom I Assumed was a receptionist who was nice and cordial. The problem was with the legal aide, She was very condescending and didn't seem to know much as to the systems and processes of the office of which she worked...But the main reason I fired them before ever hiring them was I asked for a simple 2 minute phone call from Mr. Spears so he could give me a plan of action for my case and was told verbatim "He has a case today and said he don't have time for you...if you want to hire us, pay the retainer and he will do the best he can"...all with a condescending tone and with no level of confidence at all. Mr. Walker, if you see this, then please have a come to Jesus meeting with your staff, cuz I can guarantee you are losing clients that you probably never know about. I understand they are free and it is at no cost for the defendant but still would like more involvement like calling client back soon than 2 days before court. After calling them 2 and a half months before court to find out who my attorney was because the first person couldnt tell me. I needed someone to represent me at a DOL hearing. I called a number of well regarded lawyers in the area but none would only do a DOL hearing. One attorney recommended Linda.
