We chose Willison because it was close to our home, it was a family law practice, and Stephanie is a mediator - we wanted to use a mediator for our divorce. Stephanie was efficient, answered all our questions, and walked us through a very difficult, emotional time with a calm manner and respect for our feelings. She was patient, she was objective, and she kept us informed as to where the process was each step of the way. COVID kept us from seeing her face-to-face, but that didn't stop the communication. I have - and will continue to - recommend Willison Law to friends who need legal advice and/or services.

Stephanie is quick with her knowledge, advocates for her clients, and is very to the point, which I found extremely helpful, especially when communicating with the other party on my behalf. I appreciate her promptness, responsibility, and the fact that she listened to my concerns. Had it not been for her, I’m not sure that I would have felt the least bit comfortable with how my divorce case would have potentially turned out; she took care of each complication and spoke with the other party to come to a solution. I know if anything else comes up, I will hire Stephanie again- I have already recommended her to a few people as well. I suggest giving Stephanie a call if you are seeking a dedicated attorney.

Just my opinion, but save yourself some money and get an a attorney that actually wants to work for their money. I paid $4500 for Stephenie to represent me and she filed a motion to dismiss and represented me at a 90 min preliminary hearing. I was under the assumption that she was actually going to represent me in person, but instead I was surprised to find out that day that she would be doing it telephonic. We were unable to discuss anything that was brought up in court beings she did it telephonic, so she only spoke for a few min and then I proceeded to have to represent myself.

Towards the end of 2019 I found myself in a broken marriage. Having been served divorce papers I was under a time limit to get the advice I needed and draft a response. I found Stephanie Willison the same way many probably do, I did a simple google search. After reading some reviews and reading her background on her website, I felt confident that Stephanie is who I wanted to hire to represent me. The initial consultation immediately reiterated that I made a good choice. Stephanie immediately eased my anxiety and I felt very at ease telling here about my situation. Stephanie was very understanding and explained the whole process to me at length. We discussed her terms and I felt her fees were very reasonable. Leaving her office the first time I felt very confident that I had a Pro on my side. Throughout the whole process she was very easy to communicate with and when tempers flared she was the calm, cool and level head that kept us on track. At one point I had to decide weather to retain her further or continue on representing myself. I felt that the situation was mostly resolved and that further council would not be necessary. Stephanie and I discussed this and she agreed. She did not try to push me to retain her further when it was not necessary and I appreciated her integrity for not doing so. Rather, she made sure to set me up for success by working out a game plan and setting me up with the proper paperwork I would need to turn in to the court. During negotiations it was agreed upon that Stephanie would hold the proceeds of a house we had to sell in trust until the final hearing and the judge rendered the decree. After She had withdrawn from the case, the title company sent the check to her anyway. Stephanie agreed to go ahead and disperse the money as was agreed upon even though she was no longer involved in the case because that was the agreement prior to her withdraw from the case. Hiring Stephanie was the best choice I could of made going through this divorce and I highly recommend her to anyone that finds themselves in a position where they need legal representation. I'm certain the outcome would of been much worse without Stephanie on my team. Thanks Stephanie, You are much appreciated!

Note his background in accountancy was of particular value as opposing counsel(s) were challenged in this regard. Devin and Ember were sympathetic and responsive. Also assisted with drafting post-settlement revisions in my estate plan.

Brian Winter is an incredible attorney who is there every step of the way. My case wasn't simple, but Brian did a great job of communicating with opposing counsel and updating me regularly. My case took a little under a year and a half to finalize but I was able to get everything I wanted. Brian really listened to me, educated me on the process and made all of the legal jargon less intimidating. In the end, we were able to settle out of court but he and his incredible team (Vanessa) were ready to go to court had the negotiations not gone as planned. I am so impressed with Brian that I feel that it would be a disservice if I didn't share with everyone who would listen how great my experience was. He truly is an incredible attorney who has his clients needs as his first priority. He doesn't just tell you what you want to hear, but helps you understand the ins and outs of the legal system and what is fair and reasonable to request. Hopefully, I won't need Brian to represent me again, but if I ever need another family court attorney, I wouldn't use anyone else.

Let me start by saying that Maya is awesome. We engaged Maya to help with my naturalization application preparation and submission to USCIS. Maya was knowledgeable, thorough and highly responsive to our need. She answered all our queries and supported us even when the application went through a few rough patches. Ultimately, she guided and supported us through the long drawn process which takes (more than) a few months that resulted in a successful response from USCIS.
