I’ve referred Nick to many other people in my life dealing with the same things I was going through with divorce and he kept me updated and got me what I asked for. I feel bad for everyone that has to start off with other attorneys only to still end up with nick or his brother in the end. Divorce/ separation is already hard enough as it is, do yourself a favor and go straight to Nick! I guarantee you will save yourself time and money! Great attorney. Helped us get supervised visitations for the other party for the safety of our child. Something that I feel is hard since courts rarely take full custody away from the mothers. Price was reasonable. I called around many attorneys didn’t even want to bother since the case was and Shafter. The ones that were willing to take the case wanted to charge double of what Bobby Cloud charged us. Happy that we choose Bobby Cloud. Plus we loved his red suspenders!

After reading other reviews on this thread, I CAN NOT understand how Bobby Cloud Law could get anything but 5 stars! Those other people are wrong!! Getting divorced is probably the hardest thing you will ever have go through! This lawyer is professional and has your back throughout the entire process. There wasn’t a single time I didn’t feel like I wasn’t at the top of his priority list! Yeah, this stuff is hard and emotional, but Bobby always made me feel like he was there for me and me alone! I sat in those court rooms many times waiting for my turn and there wasn’t a single other lawyer I would have trusted after watching them fumble their cases! You want to win?!? You want to keep your dignity during a time when you are at your lowest place?!? Stop wasting your time with others, call his office and schedule a consultation. Sure.....It costs money to retain a lawyer, but this is the only place you will feel like your money was well spent when it’s over!! I will recommend Bobby Cloud Law over and over without hesitation! My prior attorney was trying to convince me to agree to a 50/50 custody time share which was not good for the children. If I could give zero stars to this business I would. He told me my case was going to be very simple. Here I am still waiting after 1.5 years of absolutely nothing. He’s unorganized, unprofessional. Almost doesn’t know what he is doing for a basic case. He doesn’t communicate, stay in touch and or they don’t have an open door policy. If you go to their office, the door is always locked which now I understand is a red flag. He tells you he’ll call, he won’t. He didn’t show up to court on my hearing date and didn’t even let me know that he didn’t go. His assistance is the same mess as well. I’m still having to chase him to give me a response or an update about my case, he doesn’t give me copies of whatever he gets from the court. if I have to check my case on the court’s website why did I pay this guy as my lawyer. He got me out of money, he doesn’t look out for my good and he keeps leaving me hanging. I do not recommend his business to anyone, take your money and business to someone else.

If you are reading this I’m sorry you have to hire an attorney but I am begging you to not hire this one. He may be cheap compared to other attorneys in California. But I repeat DO NOT HIRE HIM. I paid him 3,500 as a retainer for my divorce and that was a year ago and I’ve only been married for 2 years. There were court hearings that he didn’t even tell me about. There were court hearings were he didn’t even show up and sent a woman I have never met or seen before. It was actually very embarrassing when we went in for court and the attorney didn’t have a clue about my case. My divorce could have BEEN over had he adequately fought for me, showed up to court hearings and answered my phone calls and emails. I damn near had to harass him for information about my case.. if you do decide to hire him just pay attention to how messy and disorganized his office is

I called, looking for a basic estimate and they said that I would have to come in and pay $200 to, potentially, waste my time. A voice of reason, a teacher, and an amazing teammate! Not exactly the first thing you expect to hear from a divorce lawyer… “I know this is bad for business, but have you tried marriage counseling?” Mr. Bigler came highly recommended, but I was certainly caught off guard when he asked me this during the first meeting! I tell you this for two reasons: it shows that he wants what is best for the people involved, and he is not afraid to tell you the truth, even if it is not what you want to hear. (…and yes, we had years of marriage counseling.) Following that meeting was the initial divorce, followed by another custody case over a year later. Mr. Bigler defended me and my children against multiple false accusations. He stood up for our best interests. He taught me how to have the courage necessary to handle life as a single mom, and that I’m intelligent enough and have every right to defend myself and my children against lies. His sound advice is still ringing in my ears, and I’m very grateful for it. I know I paid him, but I feel like I gained a friend.

Finding a competent child custody attorney can be a daunting task. With that in mind, I began my search for someone who was worthy of listening to my concerns, preparing the necessary paperwork in a timely manner, and then going to court and battle for custody of my children. Curtis has delivered the goods. Curtis and I have had numerous phone and in person conversations. Curtis will focus on the important items to discuss that are relevant to my case. Curtis has turned in all paperwork and documents when needed and has never missed a deadline. In the courtroom, Curtis is "solid" and focused. Curtis maintains a high level of professionalism, has good rapport with the judge, and asks the appropriate questions in a manner that is not demeaning or condescending. Although I have another court date ahead, and not by Curtis' choice (Curtis has tried to resolve the matter numerous times), I have no hesitation to returning to court having Curtis represent me and my children.

Do not be tricked with these bought 5 start reviews, like I was. I had to seek my own legal council and fire him for his negligence. His staff lost paper work! which resulted in a horrible mediation outcome! He attempted to send legal agreements via email without my authorization. Once confronted, his words were "it was an accident!" His defensive strategy was very feeble! The lies of a sleazy car salesmen were sickeningly present! It now makes sense because I found out he used to be a door to door salesmen. His charisma of assertion, charm, and trustworthiness is strong, but deceptive! He got me 27% custody, tried to side with the other lawyer regarding division of assets and debts. He also offered half equity of my truck to my ex wife! Bottom line is, you better have a great deal of patience when dealing with a empty man of this kind! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!

My now husband used him for a divorce case. Should’ve know to walk away when he didn’t even shake our hands at initial meeting. Only hired him because of these reviews. I too am shocked at them. He lagged on replying his paralegal or assistant was clueless. I remember one day she didn’t even know we had court thank goodness I called to ask about it. Didn’t do anything he said he would do. Literally dragged out the case a year. Drained all the money we paid. Such a waste. I wouldn’t use this attorney again if he was free or the last one on earth. You’re better off representing yourself.

I hired Ms. Mattos after consulting with several other attorneys. I am in a same sex marriage which Ms. Mattos had never handled. She assured me she could handle it however. Not only did she handle my case, I came out the winner on almost every issue. She is a no nonsense attorney who had to calm me down several times and it paid off. Her demeanor in court is calm and cool. While I witnessed other attorneys getting agitated, Ms. Mattos always stayed calm and it always paid off. I would hire her again for any matter.
