If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, and passionate attorney to represent you, I highly recommend Nancy Martinez. Nancy was my attorney but she is more like my daughter! When I came to Nancy, I was frustrated and overwhelmed with the local county government that was trying to take a Conservatorship over my finances and person and tell me what to do. I repeatedly told the county to shove off but they kept harassing me. When they did file a case against me, I went to Nancy and told Nancy what was happening and how fearful I was about the county meddling into my private affairs. Even though Conservatorships were not her area of practice, she patiently listened to me, consoled and comforted me, and assured me she will do everything possible for me. During the court hearing she was spectacular and was able to deliver the results I wanted. I cannot thank her enough. I hold her in high regard and most of all with deep admiration and affection. Montgomery Paisano concluded my divorce for me in MAY2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was responsive and always looking out for me. He recommended changes to the draft Marriage Settlement Agreement, which we accepted, and the Agreement was accepted without comment by the Family Court. Working like that during a pandemic shows commitment. I made a good choice is working with Montgomery.

I am severing ties with peninsula law group montgomery pisano said it would cost $2,500.00, alj. I have to go to sup., alj, misrepresentation bar, state bar, supr. I would like all the files sent to me bar said to go to fee arbitration, remed, was supposed to yong won kim, hamed akhavein correct evf's, 60 and 40 hours. I have had persons reported to patrol services. I filed a police report, evf's to correct were theft and clothes, your responsibility supposed to be corrected wasn't.

Victoria Lewis is an exceptional family practice attorney who was my legal counsel as I went through the process of divorce through mediation. I had no idea where to go for a divorce attorney and feel so lucky to have come across Kim Madigan. She is very professional and knowledgeable and effectively negotiated on my behalf on complex issues in my divorce in the areas of custody, visitation, and spousal/child support. Doesn't sound too complex at first glance, but we were dealing with everything from the ex insisting I have zero custody and even trying to leave the state with our son, to trying to involve our son in the conflicts which was not good. All issues were resolved without having to go to court. I felt like everything Kim was doing for me she has already done though, and she was clearly a step ahead of the opposing attorneys. Kim also set clear expectations with me up front and helped me understand the process before we embarked on it, and helped structure a custody proposal in a way that works with my busy work/travel schedule. Long story short my son is happy with the outcome and I spend even more time with him nowadays, compared to the time before I moved out, and that is the most important thing. Also Kim is so pleasant, compassionate, and easy to talk with and that helped greatly during this tough time. What also helped was how easy it was to work with this firm, they get things in writing and processed extremely quickly and the operation is modern and paperless. They have a great paralegal Annette and she helped a lot too. Highly recommend this firm if the need arises.

Nancy’s law office came highly recommended to me when I was a difficult situation. I have a complex dissolution case that involves domestic violence and significant assets. My soon-to-be ex-husband decided to take possession of an asset of mine that he had no right to and I needed to hire an attorney very quickly. Nancy, Alex, and Laila were available to me immediately. They graciously met with me on a weekend for multiple hours and we were able to determine an immediate course of action. They filed for a restraining order right away and everything that we requested was granted. Subsequently, we had to appear in court following a separate matter that my ex filed. Nancy, Alex, and Laila all came to court prepared and ready to plead our case. Fortunately, the judge immediately expunged the order in our favor. The team has been beyond spectacular! They have assisted me during the entire process always explaining the options and suggesting the best approach. There is a saying in India “A Man scared about snake and went to hide in tiger cave and tiger ate him”. That’s what happened to me, one of the stupidest things I did in 5 years. It costed me $4800 just to know, she doesn’t have good ethics on Billing. I decided to appear for myself, just don’t want to lose everything I have to her. If I lose, I decided to lose to my Ex. Instead, Because she might spend for kids. I am not going to talk about Mrs. Moscardini work, or talent, because we were not even there. The only court work was done is Substitute of attorney to add her and remove her as legal counsel. And responded Child support saying “we don’t agree the amount”. I went to her because of 5 star review rating, I missed the point it was just 5 people, when someone handled 100s of cases obliviously going to get at least 6, 5 star rating. Like shooting target blind folded will give you at least 5 bulls eye. People are scared to put negative review on attorneys, because they are scared, what if they do something to them or other attorneys refuse to take them because of that. I don't care anymore. If she read this review, she knows who i am. This is my story, my divorce was already completed and it was already effective when I went to Mrs.Moscardini. I needed help for child support, my Ex.wife moved India with kids and demanding high child support even though the cost of living there is one 10th of cost of living here. That’s the only reason I wanted attorney to reduce child payment. Good thing about her, she is more like therapist, lot of patient. Bad thing, super hungry for money may be she is planning for retirement or family financial issue, it doesn’t matter how much retainer you pay, you will not get your retainer. There will be lot of redundant, duplicate work. Unnecessary reviews, stalling meeting for long. For example all I had to go there to sign document from child support to refuse proposed amount.it costed $1200, after her solo review for an hour (there was nothing there to review to say no), It took another 1 hour 20 minutes, this including, walking other rooms few times, She going to bath room for 15 mins, she opens law book and turn page to show you some penal code. Talk about other Client...stalling…stalling…stalling.. There is no paralegal, she will do pretty much everything, Calculation, form filling, any document related stuffs (other than mailing or Photocopying). You pay for everything in the rate $500/hour. If you call the office number, if she pick the phone, you are screwed, you might just want to know some status of mail or something. Most email for broken into lot of single question emails, you will respond with single answer, so she can charge for every email she send and read, I was even charged for email with just “Thank you’. And also was charged for response email “you are welcome”. And lot of emails she did’t even read, If I mention “I sent it to you email while ago”, she will say “Okey I will check”. But i was already charged for that. If comes to court work. She will charge from the time she leave the house to reach back the house. and minimum 4 hours. I don’t know how far she lives from court. that means for every court day you will pay $2500+. If there is too much traffic you are screwed. If your case is clean, just appear for yourself, if there is a complication, find a attorney little away from retirement, who is trying to build reputation. If you are super rich, don’t care about money, you do whatever you want.

About six months ago my life turned upside down for the worst due to some family issues. I've never needed to hire an attorney to help me fight for my life back and I didn't even know where to begin looking for one. A friend of mine recommended The Law Offices of Nancy Lara-Moscardini located in Burlingame, CA. Because a temporary restraining and move out order were issued, things began to move very quickly. I called the office and spoke with Nancy who gave me advice immediately. After that I set up my first free consultation. When I met Nancy I was a wreck. Nancy informed what the process was like in family Court and explained what our approach was going to be. After leaving Nancy's office I felt that I had a fighting chance and that things just might be okay. Nancy, her son Alex, and her entire office have been nothing but kind, caring, understanding, hard working, and empathetic. Their communication skills and strategic methods were amazing. From my first hearing to my last court appearance Nancy and her team have put in 100% in everything they did for me. Because of them, the restraining order was dropped, I got joint custody of my children, and so much more that I really can't write about. Today is 2020’s Thanksgiving Day and I have chosen to write this commentary today in the hope that those in need can see it. I think I am really lucky to find Joanne Zhou as my lawyer. Because of my ex-husband's financial control, I had no money when I found her, and she decided to take over the case without receiving any payment from me. I have been using Hoover Krepelka for years. Jim Hoover and Travis Krepelka handle custody, divorce and all types of Family Law issues. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family. My attorney is Jim Hoover (a bulldog in the courtroom) but there are other attorney's in the office that are really good too so you are sure to find someone that fits your needs and personality style. Divorce and marriage are life changing events and it would be foolish not to get the best counsel available. Hoover Krepelka provided free counsel that helped friends of mine to do the right thing when they got married; and now both are fully aware of the contract they entered in together. My neighbor turned to Hoover Krepelka when she realized she is not getting what she and her children deserved. I worked with Jim Hoover and his team for over 2 years. At first I felt very well represented. I ended up settling with my ex of an 18 yr marriage for 1/2 of what he made in one year. The Hoover team billed me 1/4 of that amount. My Jr attorney suddenly left the firm with no parting words, I received a letter. I was assigned a new attorney and was billed even more. I tried to stop the litigation because of the fees, but Hoover team would not respond and kept litigation going. When I tried to hire a new attorney, I was warned by many in the field that Hoover's team has this reputation.

Unfortunately, Nicole scrambled at the last minute to prepare for my big day. I showed up to court, and she failed to submit my statement on time for the judge to go over our case. Even OC from a different county submitted the week before. Then she told me after the botched court date all her revelations, which was not helpful at all after the fact. After an embarrassing train wreck of a court date, I switched to a new lawyer who was able to settle my case swiftly, empathetically, professionally - without having to go back to court. Literally, achieved nothing with Nicole except for negatively impacting my case. It's a shame that I threw away so much money that could have gone towards my kid when we could have settled out of court.

I have interviewed 5+ lawyers in San Jose before coming across Mr. Louie. All other lawyers were focused on how to sell me their business instead of giving the reality perspective of the case. For example, other lawyers were telling me how I will be winning the case, versus, where Mr. Louie was being honest of the situation and variables that will be difficult for the case, providing the strategies how to overcome them. I cannot think of better outcome than what he could have done for me. If you need his services, I highly recommend at least interviewing Mr. Louie.

If you have to go through divorce, I strongly advise hiring The Law Offices of Steven Dinneen. The start of a divorce process is very intimidating. I had met with another law firm prior and did not get the same detailed information that would allow me to make the best decisions for my situation. I felt they could not represent me quite like Steven and Kevin could. Hiring Steven and Kevin was a great decision as they helped guide me through this painful process. Everything from correctly filing all the forms with the court, serving papers to my ex-wife and ensuring that my interests were protected under the law. Coming from a terrible attorney who did absolutely nothing for me to Steven was life-changing. I had a very dramatic and high conflicted custody case and would not have been able to get through it all without Steven and Faune. From the start, they were very honest about the process and time. Have been in a family law dispute over child custody for 5 years now. My attorney was Bobby Lau , I looked for a second attorney to help as my case full of problems and needed help to resolve asap. I hired Steve and the very first time I called him for assistance they ignored me for 3 weeks and then I went in got my money back and fired this fool. Useless attorney point blank!
