I contacted this office for some logistical/legal help as I ran into some issues while my attorney was unavailable. They were helpful in guiding me to get some immediate solutions for how I should address some challenges during the chaotic week. They even called me BACK after I thought I was done and they provided me with some meaningful facts for my situation. I was extremely grateful -- I offered to pay them a couple bucks or just mail them a gift card. They politely declined.

Carolyn Vandyk is a fraud and an unethical attorney that will take your money and not do a thing for you. She illegally is keeping files she is charging me for. She conspired against me with a MINORS COUNSEL making custodial decisions for my child without my knowledge nor permission, she falsified legal documents by illegally forging and my docusign signature. The list goes on and on. DO NOT TRUST HER I wouldn't reccomend her to anyone. PLEASE BEWARE OF HER UNETHICAL IMMORAL ILLEGAL PRACTICES

I got divorced 5 years ago and used Dan and his team. I cant tell you how much I appreciated everyone at their office. During my divorce I needed someone on a Holiday because i was being harassed by my then soon to be ex and within 10 minutes of leaving a message Dan called me and took care of the issue. During my divorce I worked through most of my paperwork with Kim and she is an angel and held my hand the whole way. I recently needed paperwork sent to DCSS and their office was so responsive during these COVID times and Kim called me within hours of me sending an email and got me the paperwork I needed. I think like many people, I had a lot of preconceived notions about what to expect from a lawyer before I met Jon. To my great surprise, Jon has been one of the friendliest, most helpful, and accessible professionals I've ever encountered. What I appreciated more than anything else was Jon's ability and willingness to explain each part of the process to me. Not only did he do an incredible job from a legal perspective, but he also managed the rare feat of making me feel empowered on a personal level as well. Randy was nothing short of amazing and inspiring. He took our case in the middle of a trial. Our lawyer at the time did not have the "chops" so to speak for what was a very contentious guardianship trial. We needed someone who could hit the ground running and Randy did not disappoint. He has a keen ability to quickly familiarize himself with the facts of the case and zero in on the crucial elements. Watching him in action almost makes we want to be a lawyer. He's was extremely articulate, incredibly respectful - paying the appropriate deference to the court, and quick thinking during cross examination and re-direct. On meeting Randy with a box full of legal papers and 7 years of battles in a very ugly and time consuming divorce case, I knew I was for once in the right place. Randy took on the complexity of the case now at the appeals court, worked his legal knowledge together with his partner, they both worked relentlessly on my case to prepare responses etc etc. They had everything spot on in regards to my case and the law. After years of being taken to court by my ex and going through numerous attorneys who did nothing for me but take my money, I came across Christina Sherman through a random google search. What drew me in was her years of experience within the Marin County Court system and her desire to support woman's issues. Upon first contact I immediately felt heard. She asked pertinent questions and I felt she genuinely cared about my situation and wanted to help. Christina and her staff handled everything in a timely matter, they gave me great advice (even when I didn't like it) and they played hardball when needed. Because of the harassment I ensued from my ex, Christina was able to act like a buffer during some of my hearings. This was priceless to me. I’ve used Linda Garrett 3 or 4 times now for her coaching calls and each and every time she lays out exactly what is needed and what I need to do for my next step in my case. She gives honest, true, professional opinions on your situation and always makes it relatable and explains it in a way you can easily understand. I also love the fact that if she feels you can do this case on your own, she will suggest that you just do a coaching call instead of retaining her. Which, is not usual for a lawyer, especially for one in such high demand as her.

Ms. Garret was very responsive and could get an appointment very quickly. Out of all the attorneys I’ve dealt with over the last 8 years she was finally an honest and trustworthy person. She looks out for her clients best interest and is not just trying to take their money. She really wants her clients to succeed and be prepared for any outcome. She has excellent advice for all the varieties of situations that can happen! She helped me get through a very hard time and gave me the best advice and coaching that I’ve ever received in family law. After a horrific 8 years of custody battles and dealing with the court systems I can say a big Thank You to Ms. Garrets coaching! The good part: Named partners are great, front office staff is great. The firm got me through my (uncontested) divorce in under 12 months without any major hiccups. Unfortunately the lawyer who actually worked on my divorce was not as good at communication or execution. Emails would sometimes go unanswered, calls were never returned, and requested copies of documents were never provided. In the end we ended up obtaining and filing some of the final paperwork ourselves rather than continue to deal with the associate.

Brent took care of my relatively straight forward divorce case. He made a great impression at the consultation meeting but unfortunately, I feel like I paid a premium price when I was not expecting mediocre service. After my payment was submitted, Brent’s communication made me feel like my case was not a priority and it was all about the money. I struggled to get his response for basic answers or explanations and I ended up having to pay more than expected and agreed upon. Overall, very disappointed, and I would not choose to work with him ever again.
