Billed us for research she didn't complete (other attorneys we hired sent her the case law). Karen took a lengthy time to respond to us and to file court responses/motions, so much so that the magistrate called our side "clandestine". Even our other adoption/litigation attorneys said she neglected our case. She was stuttering so bad during her cross examination on a bogus emergency motion that my other attorneys informed me that they were actively emailing her, telling her to relax and tightened her questioning. We hired her in November of 2020, released her in December of 2020, and have since spend $9800 in attorney fees to fix her mistakes. Even our adoption attorney said she is not giving this case the time it needed, we were just an easy payday to her firm. Luckily we have a great new proactive team now.

Terrible business practice! We went to mediation on 12/26 and my ex and I came to an agreement there. Mrs. Mann was supposed to draft the parenting plan that way it could be filed with the court. It is now 3/27, exactly three months later and she still has not completed the draft to file with the court. The court had to initiate a court hearing for 3/17 to finalize the case due to Mrs. Mann failure to file the parenting plan, however, it had to be rescheduled to 4/17 due to the virus. This is extremely exhausting and frustrating because this case should have been finalized months ago and it's been dragging all this time because she is not responding to my attorney or filing the draft with the court. I think it should be protocol for her to proactively finalize her cases in an adequate time, but here we are still spending money on attorneys when this should have been over since December or latest January.

Don't use this lawyer. She met with me about my case said she would be in touch in a week. Called and left multiple messages after two weeks , no one responded back for days. When the receptionist did call me back she had no idea who I was and had no information on my case, asked if they could help me. The receptionist said she would check into it. Unfortunately, my experience with this law firm did not go well. I requested a consultation, and I worked with a lawyer in the office. I got a second and third opinion which were both in agreement with CO law in my situation. I called back this law firm to discuss this w/the person that advised me. I was told it was forgotten to mention this statute to me, and I received an apology for the error. This was the main gist of my inquiry, and the truth of the statute was not revealed to me during my inquiry. Further, I asked for a recommendation for another local matter. I followed the recommendation and the person recommended to me did not act professionally in regard to state guidelines. When I relayed to the lawyer I worked with at this firm what happened, I was told a complaint has never been stated before about this person/business, and my complaint was dismissed. I've since went to the firm's website, and sent correspondence to the firm about this to discuss it first before this review was posted. I've not heard from the firm. I was told this Christian firm prays over all cases, I was given the personal cell of the person I worked with, yet, I've heard nothing as of today. I recommend getting a second opinion.
