She got the job done... nearly a year and a half after the fact. Sorry to say but really unprofessional. I was getting a divorce and started seeing someone new while going through the divorce/separation. They had the nerve to tell me I need to provide a list of, the man I’m seeings, ex girlfriends... like it was any of their business. Told me how poor of a mom I was because in 4 years I was with 2 different men . Honestly just needed a bifurcated divorce, and my ex husbands attorney did most of it.

If you were thinking about using this firm, you should take a really clear look at the way the firm talks to prior clients and the way the firm uses their tone towards people who leave negative reviews!!That will inevitably be the way you are treated if you use these people. Beware!

Made mistakes on stipulations multiple times my putting other peoples names, stating incorrect information and putting wrong dates and charged me each time they “corrected” the issues. The mistakes were likely do to copy and pasting from a previous client so be careful and read throughly. They have one great staff member Stephine but the other receptionist is difficult to work with and never seem to care when I had a true emergency. Campbell is probably a good Lawyer though my case just stood at a standstill when it got into his hands. He seems to be knowledgeable but does not produce progress or products as expected.

Mr. Madden was honest, and fact based. He didn't take my case and run cut-throat with it, but instead listened and respected to what I wanted to achieve. He did that and more. I would retain him again when the need arises.

I wish I have known Mr. Clark Henderson when I was filling my divorce i wouldn’t had wasted my time and money. I went through so many lawyers and to be honest they are NOT good ( never hired lawyers from virga firm, I’m just saying!!!). Mr. Henderson is the best and knowledgeable lawyer I ever have. He is very professional, he listened to you and answer all your questions and concerns you have. He help me through my case until it finished. This firm was referred to me by another reputable attorney. I transferred my retainer and scheduled an appointment. I was charged an outrageous amount for a phone call. My first appointment with her was me rehashing my horrible marriage and child custody. Gena already had my file from my previous attorney which stated everything. She made me feel like I had to pay her thousands of dollars to gain custody and win my divorce. After I left my appointment I felt worse about my case and even felt like a failure as a mother. Two hours later I called and fired Gena. Only to find out my husbands attorney had been told she wouldn’t take my case. Do not waste your money and I did win 100% custody of my children and still have money to provide for them.

I thought I had hired a good divorce attorney until mediation. A week before court I had to update my case with him in his office. He was anxious to end this case since I had paid 200.00 an hour , 20 dollar phone calls an 30 dollar e mails numerous months. He charged me for a e mail informing me my ex-attorney had died.After Mediation I was left with 600.00 of my State retirement check to pay my expenses, $300.00 child support for a 29 year old woman that get disability, substantial lump sum to be paid by QUDRO out of my IRA. After approx. 5 months he was dismissed from case failure to transfer money to exwife.Mr. Factor cost me a lot of money I should not had to pay,Beware future client u may be next.

That has allowed me to see several facets of how he works for his clients. Receptionist hung up on me after I used my right to keep the details of my case between the lawyers and myself. Completely unprofessional. "You're probably not going to hear from them unless you tell me what the case is about." Call made at 4:58 PM EST on Thursday. If I were them I would reconsider this individual's employment. Other offices respectfully addressed my right for anonymity by simply forwarding my call along and allowing the attorney to get back to me at their convenience.

We went to Shelly a month ago, she definitly knows her stuff but shes very unprofessional. Thankfully there was no charge for our consultation . We sent her the documents she requested and have not heard from her since. She wont return our calls or emails. Doesnt matter how busy you are, at least let your clients know whats going on. If u cant handle it then why even meet with new clients? Anyways just be careful going to this one. My advice is look somewhere else, thats what we're doing.

I hesitated posting a review but I hired her in August of 2018 after representing myself 8 months. I got more accomplished when I didn’t have an attorney that when I did. After hiring her it took her a month to file her Notice of Appearance as my attorney of record. The opposing party filed a demand for documents that she never told me about, I found nearly a month later - not long after they were “due” to be sent back and it wasn’t because she told me. It was because I looked online at my case and saw it. She constantly blamed her legal assistants and even told me she is ready to throw in the towel because she didn’t have enough “time” to do her job. I fired her in March 2019 after my case went nowhere. No documents were ever filed after I sent her everything the other attorney requested and she never reached out to me about anything even after I had called/emailed. She was constantly “sick” or out of the office because family members were sick or in the hospital.

Communication is terrible. Once paid she could not be reached for 3 months! I had no idea if I had court, mediation, or anything for that matter to attend to! She waited until the last day at lunch time to respond to a 30 day petition which had me on the edge of my seat especially since this case was dealing with my son’s custody. She routinely bad mouths and makes fun of her clients on her personal Facebook page, she can be seen out partying, drinking, and making jokes about her job on Facebook as well. Lastly, her 5-star reviews you’ll see on here are from her personal friends. If you do a little investigating, you’ll find they’re all connected on Facebook and regularly tag and post with each other. Her page is public (currently) so please check for yourself before you consider hiring her as she is terribly unprofessional! PS-I have screenshots of everything and a time stamped copy of the petition response should anyone wish to see!

I started my divorce proceedings in March 2021. Everything was provided and signed by June 8th. (this delay was due to my spouses incarceration) Divorce filed June 22 with courts. July 20 some documents require a new signature and yet another copy of my drivers license provided. July 30th -a month later still waiting for Ms Coleman to sign something so everything can be filed so some additional documents can be filed, apparently not everything is filed at once. Now, 10 days later, those documents are still waiting for Ms Coleman’s signature. (She is apparently very busy I am told by her legal assistant, who has been exceedingly nice to me). If you are not in any rush to divorce, then this is the lawyer for you!! If you want things handled efficiently, keep lawyer shopping. I regret not doing the paperwork myself as it was an uncontested divorce. Could have saved $4000.00 dollars and quite a bit of frustration. I will be waiting a couple more weeks.

Laura Spencer Coleman saved my life literally! I went to her after another attorney bungled my case. I was up against a law firm who was out to ruin me during a divorce. They were doing a pretty good job of ruining me with my first attorney representing me. I hired Laura and her team about 10 months into my divorce. Laura, Kelly, and Stephanie got my case and did not let up until we were on the winning side. I will never be able to repay Mrs Coleman but I will definitely recommend her to everyone in need of her services! The absolute best attorney alive in my opinion! Attorney Nusser helped me with a complicated divorce/child custody case plagued with jurisdiction issues, a narcissistic husband and domestic violence issues. He represented me with the utmost integrity and kept me informed through the whole process. He answered my questions and “held my hand” through my prep and hearing. His paralegal Meredith is also fantastic as well. I highly recommend his firm for your family law needs.

With Covid, certainly, things were tricky but this office is VERY unorganized. We were asked DAYS before a hearing to provide documents that we sent nearly a year prior. In fact, this happened a couple times- last minute asks for items we provided MONTHS prior. Our grandfather has dementia and Nusser’s office did a poor job sharing the documents we provided on our grandfather’s health. We sent emails and voicemails from the wife admitting she knew our grandfather had dementia prior to filing for divorce and asking our grandfather to sign papers giving away property. While we certainly had a tricky situation due to our grandfather’s moving around- and troubling health, Nusser’s office did not push to advocate for the mental health of their client. They could have pushed Florida health professionals to provide details on our grandfather but instead said “they won’t respond so that’s all we can do”. Our grandfather’s dementia has progressed in the last year and the judge took his estranged wife’s word over our grandfather’s (they believed the word of his ex wife over our grandfather’s because he “could not remember details” UH, that’s what dementia does). Definitely do NOT recommend if you have a complex case or mental/physical health challenges. Very unorganized.

Attorney Timothy Nusser took my case after i tried to get divorced for 2 years ,After retaining Mr Nusser he was Very diligent and responsive to my divorce case even though her attorney kept trying to stall ...Mr. Nusser even won a contempt hearing in my favor prior to the final court hearing. He Pretty much kept her lawyer on the ropes though out the process .I had to pay no alimony at all ....Mr Nusser did a GREAT job ......

If you are looking for a lawyer who will truly LISTEN and who will help in any way he can, this is the one for you. He has great staff that return emails and calls, and they were all so thoughtful, kind and patient with me and made every effort to make this process as easy and painless as possible, especially with my disability and mobility issues. I am very pleased with the outcome of my court case. I would recommend Tim Nusser and his staff to anyone. They made a very difficult time in my life a lot less stressful and painful.
