When I first visited the Desmond Law Firm, I knew little or nothing about the topic to be discussed. Since the first visit, they spoke in terms I could understand. They used similar scenarios to aid my understanding on the topic which in turn helped me to identify with my experience. I have had a good experience to date. I have no complaints about the Desmond Law Firm. My experience is not other people's experience. Other people's experiences may vary. From the first phone call to their office my experience has been very professional. Office visits have been optimistic, constructive and supportive. Moreover, visits have been person-to-person concerning things deeply private and personal. Awful representation! Ms. Karen Johnson charged me so much money and the only thing she did was be present at one of the mediations and answered a couple phone calls. She never communicated everything or informed me of certain things going on in my case, she answered back a couple phone calls but always frustrated and raising her voice for having to explain something to me. Besides high payment to Ms. Johnson I was forced to spend even more money to have someone else explain what she wasn’t willing to explain to me. On top of everything, Ms. Karen Johnson dropped my case and only returned change back to me. Do not risk your money, she is very convincing on the first consultation. She will make you think she will help you.

Karen and her staff were amazing! As a stay at home mom with no income, Karen made sure I knew my rights and fought to make sure my kids and I were covered in every possible way for our futures. No divorce is smooth and none are fun. It is an ugly business to be in and she did a fantastic job at reducing my stress. Her staff answered any questions I had and were always willing to make me feel like I was their only client. I hired Leanne for my divorce because she was referred by a friend, I read all her reviews and ignored the low rating. Boy was I wrong... She's great until she has your money. Then she disappears and you have to do everything with her secretary, which is not a paralegal. She makes decisions on your behalf without consulting you. I had a case that didn't have much done in the beginning because of family reasons and finally when we were set to get into the thick of things she wanted a second retainer at double the price. When I asked for a breakdown of the bill she filled it with busy work that wasn't necessary and that she never discussed with me. So before we even went Infront of the judge for the first time she had used a $5000 retainer and was requesting another $10000 before she would represent me. Absolutely the worst person I could have picked.. Please, please don't ignore the low rating reviews like I did because they are absolutely 100 % accurate!!!

I contacted this law firm for a "free consultation" and had an appointment scheduled within a day. The office was quiet and peaceful. The staff was gracious and accommodating. Mr. Gufford was very professional as he asked many questions about my particular divorce case that involves a minor child. I feel he went above and beyond in sharing his knowledge and expertise. I was very grateful for the extra paperwork he printed out for me to assist in protecting myself and my child in a court of law. I hired RJ Ferraro to represent me regarding 3 charges, 2 of which I was guilty, the third charge I was not. RJ Ferraro agreed to collect the evidence, evaluate the evidence and suggest a defense strategy. RJ Ferraro failed to collect the evidence in the case. RJ Ferraro claimed he attempted to plea bargain with the prosecutor, but he never collected the evidence in the case so he couldn't negotiate what he didn't know. James Ferraro represented my case. He was able to get paternity disestablished for a little boy that my daughter's mother said was mine resulting in me signing the birth certificate. To my shock i was later advised that he was not mine and child support was coming after me for a ton of money. I tried to get this handled without hiring an attorney for years until I finally hired Ferraro Law Group! Today, I received the official Disestablishment of Paternity Judgement signed by all parties and I am thrilled!!! I cannot thank James enough for everything he did for me. The professionalism, personalism, and helpfulness is unmatched... Wayne handled my divorce in 2018. At the first consultation he took the time to listen, asked questions, and truly understood the (not quite typical) circumstances of my case. He managed the case perfectly and I was satisfied with the outcome, as satisfied as one can be going through such a dismal life change. Just now, three years later, I sent an email seeking advice on a recent change in circumstance. Without requiring a dime for his time, he explained everything and pointed out a particular clause he included in the agreement which protected my interests today. He clearly cares more about his clients and reputation than his bottom line.

Timi worked with us for 3 years helping us to protect our grandson from abuse. She was always there for us calling in the middle of the night to check on him and to reassure me. I was skeptical about all the positive reviews on Google but not anymore. Timi is a professional. Punctual and a proven winner. She handled my case with professionalism and ease. She should change her middle name to victory. I find sometimes reviews can be misleading but in this case I will testify (no pun intended) that Timi's reviews are 100 percent accurate. Simply put, you get what you pay for and in this instance sometimes you get even more. 5 stars and highly recommended. She represented me on 4/12/2021 and was simply amazing in the court room.
