I contacted Mr. Kaufman 4 yrs ago to help me with my divorce case. I researched countless attorneys and seeing his excellent reviews, made appointment, met him and his staff, and hired him. Mr. Kaufman is aggressive, transparent, compassionate and extremely fair. He will tell you what you need to hear even if you don't like it, but thank God for him because he took my case from the beginning to end with every high and low; won my case and when the case was reopened by ex-husband immediately reached out, offered his help and again made sure I received not only what is fair but what I am rightfully entitled to. I love Mr. Kaufman and his staff for being the help I needed when I felt like I couldn't help myself. Hands down, I highly recommend his services and will forever be grateful. I was looking for an attorney to hire to help me enforce my parenting plan. I was between two attorneys and the reason I went ahead with Mr. Steven D. Kaufman was he told me from the beginning exactly what he wanted to do with my case. I felt, comparing to the other attorney I spoke to previously, he was the one with more experience and the only attorney to describe how he will approach my case. In addition, Mr. Kaufman was always available through text message/phone call. This was very surprising, but it made me feel he was always ready to speak on my case and give me the best legal advice possible. I would be more than happy to hire Mr. Kaufman again for any family law issue I may have in the future. His assistant, Ms. Hernandez, is a hardworking and intuitive individual. Great experience dealing with Mr. Kaufman and his staff during what is an unhappy situation. Everyone was kind and patient. They were available to answer questions or meet in person, always very responsive and they walked me through every step of the way, sometimes more than once. If you are looking for a family lawyer or are not happy with your current lawyer, my only advice is this: go and hire Mr. Kaufman, so that you can be represented by a knowledgeable, respectful and highly professional lawyer. I have hired Mr. Kaufman 6 times over the past few years, all aimed and pertaining to the protection of my son’s welfare. Before finding Mr. Kaufman, I had a few bad experiences and all from lawyers that were highly rated on Avvo and other websites, and all with years of experience and stellar resumes. The first lawyers were very unprofessional and they were not able to see the importance of my case going all the way, regardless of outcome. The next lawyer stopped answering my phone calls and after more than a week I decided to start looking for another lawyer. I then went back to a lawyer who I had hired on a previous case, but upon returning to his office he did not remember me, not even after reviewing the case he did for us. He then started promising outcomes, I saw this as a red flag and decided to keep looking. At that point, after searching through names and reviews and because my husband recalled his name from a case he did for a family member, I went to Mr. Kaufman. At the beginning, he did not want to take the case (probably after he saw all the lawyers that had already been on the case), but by some miracle agreed to take the case at the end. I still don’t know what made Mr. Kaufman change his mind, but it was a God sent moment (as my husband always puts it). Mr. Kaufman understood the moral basis of why we were in this case, which prior lawyers missed. His level of professionalism is unparalleled, not just with me as his client, but in court as well. He conducted himself with the utmost respect for others while being firm in his position. His advice was always welcomed as I knew it came with our best interest at heart and when we didn’t see eye to eye he would listen to what I had to say and my position. Mr. Kaufman always answers my calls, or if busy returns my calls. His assistant was amazing and would always be on top of what was happening and always had an open line of communication. Another important point is that unlike all the other lawyers, we never felt that Mr. Kaufman was taking advantage of us financially. It’s sad that we couldn’t find lawyers with half the decency, respect, professionalism and wisdom in which Mr. Kaufman carries himself. The miami area will lose an amazing lawyer whenever he retires. Thank you Mr. Kaufman, my amount of gratitude towards you can’t be put into enough words. P.S. His office staff needs to be rated as well with an A+. I can’t stress how important the office staff is. Many of the lawyers we called when first looking around, their office staff were rude and most of the time created a barrier for the lawyers to speak with us; ultimately driving us away. Mr.Kaufman’s office staff are not only highly professional but they are very in tune with him and there is always a line of communication you can depend on.

Your firm service on the guardianship case for our Special Needs daughter was superb. We were in Paris, riding on a river boat, and yet your Principal Lawyer managed to get us to speak with a judge on the phone live, in order to come to a speedy resolution of our case. Your firm services for our Last Will and Testament were prompt, professional, informative and affordable. You have done the same for friends we have recommended to your firm. What can I say, this is now the second Custody Case that Kenneth Kaplan represents me under. We had 2 Mediations, and Trial, WOW, did he DELIVER!! I'm not going to lie my journey through this Custody was not a walk in the park and I endured a year of harassment by my son's Father. What a knowledgeable attorney. Kenneth was referred to me by a coworker who was also going through a similar issue (child support). I’m a firm believer in fate and signs and something that day told me I was done with the emotional rollercoaster and going to finalize this chapter for the sake of my daughter’s future. I have no words to describe the amount of trust Kenneth has given me in what he does. I feel safe and protected that I have a lawyer that is willing to fight for what is right. Makes me appreciate lawyers so much. Not only was he able to get me what I requested but his calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional succor to myself. They r the voice for those who can’t defend themselves. Im pleased with the staff who have helped me along the way including Mily, Maday even the server. All of them have always been a phone call or email away and have been more than accommodating. Mediator Gregory Betancourt also very understanding and made the process as smooth as can be expected. My daughter will now have more security and I will be able to have more peace of mind knowing I have her fathers’ financial help. I know many women feel bad about taking these things to court but I have to do what I can to help my child have a good upbringing. It’s my role to protect her and ensure her future. I am far from a vindictive person, nor to ever take the time to even write a review good or bad. But any one who would like to contact me to confirm and or show proof of everything my review will include should feel free to do so. Send me an email any time. This review is based on the "representation" I recieved from Manny Segarra, I know there are other attorneys in the office, I know nothing about them and this review holds no bearing on them, for all I know there probably carrying the firm because theres no way this guy has any return clients. But as for Mr Segarra, I couldnt be more suprised and dissappointed with his services, if you care to call them that. In my home he and his staff have been dubbed, the professional email forwarders. Due to the fact that in almost 2-3 months, they did nothing other then that. If you want an attorney that cares about your case, this is not the attorney you want. If you would like to be able to communicate or get updates on your case, he is not the attorney for you. If you want to be confident in your attorneys staff and para legal team, please god, trust me on this, this is not the attorney for you. No strategy meetings, no motivation to put plans together nothing. This guy is an absolute clown, and doing some of my own research among other attorneys, hes pretty much known as a clown to all of his peers as well. I had to fire Manny two weeks before my court date, because I knew I did not have proper representation, he pitches you on how he was a prosecutor for this many years and how hes the best to handle the case, hes a bold face liar with zero work ethic and zero care for his clients. A man willing to except payment for a service and to then not provide said service, well to me thats not a man at all. Manny Segarra is a joke, I will tell him to his face, on a google review or in an email. I have kept a detailed list of the instances where he and hes office showed a complete lack of capability and professionalism. I would not refer this guy to my worst enemy, so be cautious when signing the check on that retainer.

My soon to be Fiance and I decided together that a prenup makes the most sense for us and would be a fair way of protecting both of our assets. We were looking to the services of Milene Hernandez to represent my significant other to assist her to review a draft prenuptial agreement. I explicitly instructed the my attorney to write the agreement to be very fair and mutual for the both of us. We contacted the Law office and the fees we were told were to be around $300 if there was nothing significantly unfair in the document. Before any interaction with the Law Office of Milene Hernandez we were both in a good place and comfortable with the way we decided the prenuptial agreement should read at a high level. The day of the appointment we were then told the fees would be upwards of $1,500 dollars for a review witch was more than it costed to draft the document. WITHOUT ANY ATTORNEY READING THE AGREEMENT, my significant other left the law offices of Milene Hernandez in tears and completely changed her perspective towards our situation. Again WITHOUT ANYONE FROM THE LAW OFFICE READING What is supposed to be a fair agreement to protect the both of us. Our relationship is now scared forever based on one meeting with the law offices of Milene Hernandez with no legal review of the document proposed. The Attorney's services were needed to review a document and make sure the client was well informed of what is in the document and supposed to assist the client to make informed decisions on whether or not something should be changed. Changes and modifications were welcomed and encouraged if any were felt to be necessary however instead we wasted our time and got preconceived notions made by the attorney that has damaged our relationship. We will work hard to repair this and undo the unnecessary tension created by this office visit.

I came to Pacheco Perez P.A. because they have amazing reviews and had a decent consultation fee. I hired Mrs. Perez and glad I made the right choice. She is professional and knows her stuff. Luckily I was able to work things out personally and didn't need her services anymore. I def recommend her. Excellent service! The attorneys at Pacheco Perez PA provide fair and genuine counsel. Expect to have a dedicated team who is responsive and transparent every step of the way. The most valuable part of the experience is their patience as you navigate the difficult journey that a divorce proceeding entails.
