I felt as though I was not represented. Never even spoke with Erin and was given an Associate instead, most likely because of my financial position. Additionally, it seemed as though my team was working for the other side. Specifically, when I turned in my financial affidavit, I provided that and all transactions from all my financial accounts, but never got the details of my ex's finances. The child support guidelines was filled out incorrectly and submitted TWICE. The judge reprimanded my representation on multiple occasions. It was embarrassing and cost me time (visitation) with my children and severe financial hardship.

Joe has defended me against multiple false domestic violence protection orders having each order dismissed. As the domestic violence protection orders were being used as a weapon to gain child custody in my divorce. Joe then went on and defended me from social services Twice. Sticking by my side and working through the process with me. Joe has treated me honestly, openly and with dignity as I am not a US citizen. In the end joe won custody for me and enabled me to bring my children back to the United Kingdom. I cannot recommend Joe enough, if you want a honest, fair attorney that will fight like hell for you this family attorney is the one for you.

Do not hire Jarica Cairns. In the 3 months that I retained her, she didn't respond to several emails, didn't forward documents to me from OC until I requested them and didn't invoice me on a monthly basis. When I fired her for these and other reasons, she sent me an invoice for $4000 which was nickel and dimed except for the nearly 5 hour long mediation meeting which my spouse and I could have done without her. She is unorganized and irresponsible. Do not waste your money.

Heather is by far the most competent and efficient family law attorney I have ever dealt with. My husband and I had hired her after a referral from Swope Law. He had child support and child custody issues that were longstanding after he was put through the ringer with his previous divorce. I am a Truck Driver. So my license is my livelihood. I received an "Improper Backing" ticket while driving for work. Something I had never heard of, and even my company was surprised anything was issued at all, since it was on private property. Seth explained to me exactly what I was being charged with, so I was fully aware of the situation. Seth called me with updates to my case as needed, and before sending any E-mails. This was very much appreciated as I don't check my E-mail often. He was very clear and concise with what was happening with my case at all times. I never felt rushed when I had questions, and always knew what the game plan was for court dates.

I was battling a child custody dispute for over 1 year, unhappy with how my attorney was representing our case. I then found Mr. Hurvitz’s information online and saw that he had great reviews. I scheduled a consultation with him and ended up hiring him to represent me. I was very happy with how Mr. Hurvitz handled the case. It was a tough case that got stretched out over another year due to Covid. Mr. Hurvitz was always on top of things and quickly responded to my calls and e-mails. He always made time to answer my questions and concerns and was attentive to all the case information I provided him. Every time we had a deposition or had to show up in front of a judge, I was thoroughly impressed with how he represented the case. Mr. Hurvitz ended up helping me gain 50% custody of my child and thanks to his extensive knowledge in case law, significantly reduced my child support obligation. Although these cases are never ‘cheap’ to handle, I felt like Mr. Hurvitz was frugal with my costs and saved me money where was possible. I am overall extremely satisfied with his services and will most definitely have him represent me again if needed.
