There are not enough stars to give this team. Both Jen and Richard were beyond amazing in my time of vulnerability. This was not the first time I have used this team for legal support, but this one meant the most. The compassionate energy accompanied by knowledge, options and ease in the process was everything I was looking for in council. I do not recommend calling this law firm at all! Jennifer took my money & withdrew from the case 1 month before a court date left me high and dry because she didn’t feel comfortable representing me because my family pay my attorney fees and I have arrears!! Jennifer knew I had arrears before taking on this case ! That’s the whole point of hiring Jennifer to help me get child support payments modified!! Jennifer if you’re so concerned with my arrears you should’ve did your job and kept track of everything to help me! Or better yet refund my money back so I can put it towards my arrears. This law firm does not keep in touch with you at all! You have to call them to get updates that’s how they get you by incurring more fees!They keep you in the blind about your case , it seems as if they do not care at all they aren’t compassionate or empathetic ! I hired Jennifer in April of 2020 they dropped the ball & had the wrong jurisdiction so the case had to be transferred to another county in October months went by I was never kept in touch on what was going on , I called Fulton County Courthouse to see if I had case/was the case transferred the clerk told me no it was no case! I called law firm to tell them what the courthouse said next thing I know the case was transferred to Fulton very quickly !!! This law firm drag their feet they don’t do things with a sense of urgency at all, I got a court hearing & Jennifer withdrew from the case & took my money ! Do not call Jennifer for help she will leave you for dead!!! Jennifer wasted my time & money!!! Money gone down the drain which she has done nothing at all!!!

Had a good experience (as much as you can have while going through a divorce and having to involve lawyers). I felt I was listened to, my child's best interest was kept in mind, they were tactful, and kind. They were also understanding of my financial constraints and didn't try to wrack up unnecessary expenses. Fair warning that sometimes I felt I didn't get a response fast enough, but I only write this here to remind anyone and everyone that this is standard with all lawyers, as difficult as it feels in the moment.

Meriwether & Tharp, and perticularly Lolita Beyah handled my case in the most professional manner. During the 2 years it took to settle this case, they were patient in dealing with the 3 lawyers that took turns representing the opposition. I went through a messy divorce and custody battle. I was introduced to Wayne Morrison through a mutual friend of ours. A really bad law firm that cares only about depleting your bank account. I had a "paid" initial consultation with Michael Manely and he seemed like a great attorney with loads of experience. However, when I hired this firm they ran through $6000 in 3 days. The representation I got in court was mediocre that I could have done better on my own. I was fooled by the good reviews and I was quick to dismiss all the 1 star reviews. Now I know which reviews were real and authentic.

I hired an inexpensive lawyer to represent me in my divorce. After my preliminary hearing, I realized that it was the biggest mistake I ever made. After hearing good things about Jeff Cleghorn, I hired him to finish my divorce. Not only did he do an fantastic job, but the entire staff there was absolutely amazing - very caring and compassionate. My husband and I are in need of a lawyer for custody purposes. I've called your office a total of 6 times since last week. I have left 2 voicemail messages. NO ONE EVER CALLS ME BACK!!. Then today, when I call someone finally picks up, and what does she do..... She puts me on hold. Then she comes back to the line and HANGS UP ON ME!! So I try to call back.... But of course like all the other times, no one answers. Smh.... I didn't even bother leaving a message this time. I'll take my business elsewhere....

I had demetrious price as a family lawyer and he said $2,500 would hold me over until court or mediation and within 4 days I was charged $6,000 and they were suppose to tell me when my balance is under $1000 and not one time did they let me know i also brought that to there attention. My case only required simple paper work at the time of being charged that much. They kept requesting money through email but would not be available over the phone. The paragraph Kameelah often just puts you on hold and attempts to collect more money. The money i spent at the law firm was not useful a lot of the work could have been cheaper if they have not “spent” so much time in group meetings discussing my case without my knowledge.

Angela Kinley is top of the line when it comes to attorneys. She is currently working on a child custody modification case for me. If I was able to give a 10-stars on Mr. Shaw I would! This was an international parental abduction case that I believe he was the ONLY attorney that could win it. This case was very lengthy, over 2 years, with so many incidents and information to keep up with. On top of that my prior attorney completely screwed me over. Shaw hopped on the case, filed the proper documents for each incident occurred, and was on top of everything. I never had to worry. Shaw always made sure he makes the best decision for his clients, which includes not trying to unnecessarily hurt you financially. Fighting for custody is difficult process in itself, it is very frustrating, overwhelming, and many times you want to give up. Shaw did his job, and made sure I was at peace every step of the way. Shaw knows the law, and I respect his work wholeheartedly. Mr. Shaw thank you so much for helping me get custody of my son, it means a lot to me and my family. Long story short, Shaw will not disappoint!

I could not be any happier to have Scott Shaw. Scott has done more for me on our first phone call than any attorney I have dealt with. I have two cases Scott is helping me with. A divorce and a custody battle and the other is a custody battle. Both fathers have ganged up and tried to take custody away from me. I called Scott & come to find out they are both in contempt. He told me to go pick them up! Scott Shaw knows the law & he can relate. I feel it's one thing to be an attorney to know the law and to fight but to be the attorney who been in the same shoes as his clients is the icing on the cake for me. I have been a House mom for nearly 10 years never had to work so child support is an issue for me having to raise four children while having to pay for an attorney. I think his prices are fair especially for an attorney & compassionate. Call Scott Shaw! You won't regret it!

Shaw took on my case as it was nearly 6 years in the midst. A huge case history. We were in dire straights at the time after a mishandling of my case by a prior attorney, lack of due process by our Cobb County Judge, and a poor investigation by a Guardian Ad Litem. It was a long road, and it is still ongoing. Shaw is calculated, practical, honest, and utilizes experts in the Family Law professional community to get the job done. Family law is a hard field to navigate, and Shaw does his absolute best to serve his clients- even given huge setbacks and misfortune. He does not subscribe to the common politics which the field can be dominated by. He runs his firm by the book, and the laws therein. I deeply respect Scott Shaw and his work.
