I hired Joe Borsberry to handle my divorce and custody case. During the first few months I rarely heard from Joe. Sometimes I'd hear from his paralegal who to her credit seemed nice enough. Communication with them was a nightmare. To get a phone call could mean waiting days for Joe to be available. Emails were hard to understand and often didn't address all of my questions. The final straw came when Joe had a status hearing with the opposing attorney and I couldn't get an update on the call. I sent multiple emails asking for an update, several emails with other questions, and never heard back - for weeks. Even after multiple follow ups. Going through a divorce is difficult enough but it's back breaking when you have no idea what is going on with your case and feel like the people you hired don't have your back. The bills sure came on time though! After enough frustration I fired Joe and hired an attorney that I couldn't be more happy with. Emails and calls are returned promptly. I understand every aspect of where my case is at. Crazy, right? I wasn't going to even bother with a review but now I'm getting shook down for one last payment. A bill for the time it took for them to fill out the paperwork to FIRE him. The check's in the mail now, thanks for nothing! If you are a husband or wife contemplating divorce PLEASE do yourself a favor and take this review and the others to heart. Reading the other reviews I'm not the only one who had a similar experience. I wish I had taken the advice of the other reviews before sinking money and time here.

At first Joe said he understood why I protected my grandchildren but then threw me under the bus at court, now I have a felony on my record for bringing my grandkids to my house because they were going to jump off the I74 bridge and commit suicide, I was arrested for abduction!!! This isn't the case, I was trying to save them instead of them being pulled out in body bags but I love in Woodford county so a big screwing is what I got. If I was going to abduct them I would not have brought them to my home. Joe never even fought for me. But by God he sure took my money.
