To say that Peter Cyr is unprofessional is putting it mildly. He couldn't have put less time into my case. His lack of concern was only topped by his shocking ignorance of how to fight back when faced with a difficult ex. He sure was happy to take my money though. In fact, he took $5000 from me to take my case, did nothing and then extorted me for another $5,000 to stay in the case. Then he berated me in his office so loudly, my underage daughter heard him while she waited downstairs. Peter Cyr behaved more like a crazed animal than a professional, licensed Maine attorney. Be suspicious of positive reviews of Peter Cyr. This attorney has no scruples. Stay away.

I am very grateful to have found Peter to handle my divorce case. He is stellar at negotiating and step-by-step walked me through the process, including jurisdiction issues and selling marital property. He has taken care of everything with great knowledge, aggressively and sincerely had my best interest in mind throughout the entire ordeal. Custody cases are an emotional rollercoaster ride! I have not received my verdict yet but wanted to express my gratitude for the interest Nancy put into practice to help a struggling child. Nancy knows the law, is well equipped to handle any case and I highly recommend her. Waiting is the toughest part but whatever the verdict may be Nancy gave her all and I'm pleased to have chosen her to work with after initially working with a not so good local lawer. She didn't take my guardian ad litem case seriously. Non-responsive and took many calls and emails to get a simple answer because I was told my questions didn't warrant a response - very unprofessional. Threatened to give other party additional benefits if I didn't agree with her report. Highly don't recommend.
