I would absolutely recommend Ali to anyone who’s in need of a lawyer for custody/parenting time. I actually parted ways with my previous lawyer of 4 years to switch to her and I don’t regret it one bit it. What I’ve been trying to do for the past 3 years, she concluded in about 1 month. She listens to your concerns and is very straight forward with her opinion and your options, but in a very genuine way. She definitely shows you that she’s on your side and will fight for you.

Matt DeLange is great. If you have questions, he takes the time to make sure you understand the answers and know what to expect going forward. He even goes so far as to reply to emails up until he goes to bed so you don't spend all night driving yourself crazy. Believe me, I've blown up his email and he didn't ignore me or get (noticeably) irritated with me, just simply reminding me that I need to be more efficient with my retainer. If you think you'll need a family attorney, call Matt now and get a jump on it. Worth every penny.

I had never been in trouble my entire life, then I got my first DUI. Matt was great at explaining the process and what to expect. I reached out to this office to schedule a consultation. The assistant scheduled it for 2:30pm same day appointment. She explained they only do phone consultations during the pandemic so Matthew would be calling me at my appointment time. I didn't receive a call from Matthew Miller until 3:12 pm. He literally rushed me off the phone to attend to his 3:00pm appointment that he was obviously late for as well. I know this because when he hung the phone up in my face without notice, I called right back and his secretary informed me of his appointment that he was late for. During our conversation, Matthew tells me multiple times his rate is $2500 to try the case in trial. I continue to tell him I understand but continue to ask him for his rate to review a case to figure or consider if it is worth going to trial. He tells me he won't give me any advice until he is my lawyer. I say, "isn't this the purpose of a consultation?" I asked him if he had any recommendations. He states that he will not recommend me to another attorney that does what he does and if I don't like the way he does consultations, go to someone who does it the way you like it done! Wow I am extremely impressed with the outcome of my case yesterday with Mr Matthew T Miller as my attorney. I went from facing a pretty serious offense which he had reduced to a minor one. I have utilized Shannon's legal expertise on multiple occasions. We had a land contract and quit claim deed written up by her for purchase of property up north...she took care of all the details and everything went smoothly. I have consulted with her on several business matters and she has always helped to bring clarity for me. If there were ever any questions she felt were out of her realm of expertise, she was always up front about it and then connected me with some who specializes in that area. If you're looking for an attorney with heart, passion, and who gets things done; then this is the person to contact. I work for Attorneys office in Texas and it is rare that we work with another state, but for a particular case we had to find someone in Kent county to assist us in a custody battle. We contacted several different Attorneys who could not assist us, would not assist us, and didn't know how to assist us. When we contacted Ms. Lewis she responded quickly and got things done in a timely manner. My partner and I had an agreed upon meeting time this morning with Ivan Shaw; he was supposed to call between 10:30-11am. I cleared my work schedule to take the call, as did my partner. He never called. When we called his office we were informed he had left the building. If you can’t attend a phone call on time, or communicate your need to reschedule, how can we count on you to handle complex legal matters which require intense communication? I’m reasonable - I know meetings need to be rescheduled, but I have little patience for lack of communication. I’m disappointed this is the direction this went after other great reviews.

Would absolutely never recommend them to anybody going through a custody battle they do not care what you have to say and do not listen, they just want your money and will do whatever the other side has to say basically to make it easier on them, they do not fight for you at all! I was switched between three different lawyers I had to explain my case again and again to each of them well being charged just a poor absolutely ridiculous quality of service.

Terrible experience with this firm. I had a very simple divorce case, no kids, etc. Case handed off to another lawyer before it was closed. Essentially had to pay to bring the new lawyer up to speed. I was under the impression I worked out a payment plan, only to find out that they put a lien on the house (charged me yet again) I lost in the divorce without out ever notifying me until months later. Extremely unimpressed.

Michael and Jacquelyn are incredible. Michael stepped in and handled an awful case I needed help with almost 2 years ago. He resolved the matter in 25 minutes that I thought was going to take months or years. This evolved into needing assistance on a custody case which the team at Wealthy Street Law Firm handled phenomenally. Over the course of almost 2 years, across a pandemic, and significant changes, they were a constant for me. These lawyers have phenomenal advice they share, but they’re also going to push you to empower yourself. They’re not going to answer and respond to every fear you may have. They’re going to be clear and realistic with what you need to do, what is possible to hope for, and what to expect. They are professional and handle courtroom sessions amazingly. As a transgender woman, they’re also amazing with working with LGBTQ+ clients. Always treated with respect and kindness. I was able to get a settlement that was phenomenal for my kids and met all of my requirements for their interests. Remember to be realistic of expectations/reality of how custody works, aim to make coparenting work, and this firm will be the best value out there. Didn’t think I would ever be here. But amazing work and couldn’t be happier.
