I had a great experience from start to finish working with Jonathan Marks. It was a lengthy process during covid season but he kept me updated every step of the way. I moved from another state to be close to my daughter, her mother did not want me to have joint custody. I moved here with slim visitation rights, but with Jonathan on my side I ended up with joint physical and legal custody. If you are a father, you’ll want this man fighting on your side. I’ve never been so close with my child than I am now. He got me everything I needed as a father, everything I deserved, and most importantly, everything my daughter deserved. If your opposing party has biased views, or trying to limit you in an unreasonable way, this firm will put its foot down hard for you. In my opinion, very reasonably priced too. Hands down, best lawyer I’ve ever had. Jonathan is doing gods work when it comes to fathers rights.

Having lived in Creve Coeur, MO for 17 years, I, with my two daughters moved back, in 2017, to my home State of PA. My attorney, "Debbie", represented me in 2013 for Divorce/Custody, as well as in 2017 for the Custody Modification, even though she had just retired. To my utmost surprise, toward the end of 2020, I was being challenged in St. Louis County Court, as well as in Madison County IL. What?!? Fortunately, I still had Debbie's cell saved to my Google Contacts. Panic stricken, I immediately called her for referrals. Countless hours and phone calls later, I was lead to believe that I was going to have to retain three different attorneys, one in MO, one in IL, and one in PA, all in the midst my jobless pandemic financial catastrophe. Then came the miracle...Attorney Jonathan Marks calling me from his cell. Do you know how difficult it is to find an Attorney who practices in both MO & IL? Attorney Marks does. Jonathan is that person who not only exudes and shares knowledge and experience, confident composure, and admirable control of difficult situations, but also conveys genuine kindness and unmistakable caring. By the end of our detail-packed first conversation, he fully educated me on the pertinent State and Federal laws, and also compassionately assured me that I had nothing to fear. I felt like I could breathe after having been metaphorically punched in my sternum. Plainly and simply, Jonathan was going to fix it, without three attorneys and without three exorbitant retainers. He made a couple phone calls to my opposition's attorney, pointing out that MO does not have jurisdiction. Yesterday, the case was officially dismissed! We first reached out to Kallen law firm in 2019 about a motion to modify. At the time I was a custodial parent and my ex had alternating weekends with some in-week, non overnight visitation. My ex regularly refused to return the children, whether it was midweek or weekend. She moved several times and wouldn’t reveal where. She was in a violent relationships, but I couldn’t violate the parenting plan. I procrastinated a year, but in 2020 we finally hired Kallen. I was very impressed with each member of the firm. They all did their parts very well. And when we went to trial - Mr Kallen was awesome. It was like the movies. He fought for the best interests of the children and I appreciated it. I’m hoping there are no more future need for Motions but, if there is I will 100% use these guys. They had reasonable affordable prices. And I just really can’t say enough good things about them.

I am extremely displeased with the services of this attorney. She was the court appointed attorney for my friend and met with the client only for 15 minutes or so before the court hearing. During her meeting with the client, I have observed that she did not seem to be interested in presenting the client's case for the child's custody, neither did she question several inaccurate statements made on the Hearing Summary that we brought to her attention, which would have undoubtedly changed the outcome of the hearing.

It is very unfortunate that I had to file for divorce. But that is the way life goes and so I started the search for an attorney to help me with this process. I had already tried to file on my own with limited success due to my mini errors. So I figured I better consult a professional this time around. I had the chance to speak with quite a few attorneys in my area, or at least the ones who chose to return my phone call. Surprising to see how rude some people are. I guess that no matter what you do for a living, not all people are cut out for dealing with the public. But then i found Bardol Law Firm. They are located at 34 North Gore and beautiful Webster Groves Missouri. I had never heard of this firm before, but that address is very close to my home so I decided to give them a call. Quite a refreshingj change from previous calls, the voice that greeted me was friendly and professional. The first question they asked was my name instead of how much I make or how much I was looking to get out of my soon-to-be ex-wife. Imagine that, they actually wanted to know my name! So far so good. They were happy to answer all my questions about their firm. Through conversation, I found out that they also handle adoptions which I thought was really really cool. It did not take me very long to feel comfortable and I decided that this is where I needed to be. They were very comforting and reassuring. I must admit, the thought of having to get a divorce and the process of going through divorce is very nerve-wracking. But everyone at this Firm made me feel much better and everyone seemed determined to let me know that they have my back. They made the process scene effortless they exhibited great attention to detail. They were very conscious of current pandemic conditions. They found ways for me to visit the office as little as possible.. they even had masks available for visitors who forgot to bring one of their own. Anytime I see that I feel it is worth mentioning. They found ways that would save me money instead of just looking for ways to bill me for more and more. And it was very comforting to know that my divorce was handled online because I thought there was no way that I would not have to go to court. Very reassuring in these current conditions. They made me feel like I could ask any question at any time. I never ever felt like a bother or an interruption. They kept me informed about my divorce process at every step along the way. Before I knew it, I received a phone call letting me know that my divorce was final. It is unfortunate to have to go through things in life such as divorce. But what an unbelievable honor it has been to meet such a fine group of professionals. Ms. Murphy has been my attorney for the past nearly 5 years. I personally had an incredibly tumultuous and difficult divorce and aftermath- which is why she has been my attorney for the past 5 years. Molly Murphy is only out for the money she is not out to look for the children’s best interest. And my daughters case she wanted the father to have is the primary parent for school. The father has drank and drove several times with the children in the car, also his house was trashed and proven by the St. Louis County is inhabitable in the basement. He also was on probation for a DWI and had broke the probation twice because of multiple restraining orders. He also tried to kill my daughter and emotionally and physically continued threatening my daughter. Also he had continued to lie that he wasn’t drinking and even though it was proven through several hair test and several nail test that he was drinking. And she still wanted him to be the primary parent for school. She also lied to the courts about what his house look like when she did visits to his home.And she continued to lie to the court, and lawyers she is very unprofessional, does not return phone calls,Has very poor values and judgments of people. She seems to want to side with the fathers. Even when the father emotionally abuse the children. He even tried Get his son to lie and when she was told did nothing. Do not request her, and if the court suggest Molly please refuse her as your GAL.

I give one start because I can't submit the review with zero! Ms. Murphy only communicated with me once, at the beginning of the divorce process. After that, she never answered a single phone call or email. She even delegated the parenting plan to MY attorney! She is only interested in money, and not actually serving her client's best interests. She did absolutely nothing to help my case, for myself or for my ex! To top it off, in her invoice, she actually charged me for the time she spent processing my initial payment! Worst lawyer ever, she should not be allowed to practice! DO NOT HIRE!

I wasn't going to shed light on this situation because honestly I was over it. If i could give Molly Murphy no stars to say this I would have. All Molly is concerned about is the money. She did not care about my kids at all. Never even met one. She was on my side until i refused to pay her. My kids were in a sad situation living with their father in a 1 bedroom, roach infested apartment. I moved from Illinois to find a lawyer because the ones back home were too expensive. Initially, they were more expensive here, so I had to walk into my trial blind. I did not want Molly, but my kids father was adamant to have the kids and wouldn't cooperate with leaving the children with me. I had been abused by my kids father and I let this be known that I did not want my children with him for this very specific reason. Molly agreed until, I refused to pay her. I had asked her more than once to initiate a home visit on my children because I didn't feel they were safe. They were calling me crying, saying their father was abusing them and the roaches were getting into their food. Molly did not conduct 1 home visit. She in turn sided with my kids father because his mother was able to help pay her. She sided with an abuser to take custody of 3 children. I was distraught so you are damn right Molly murphy, I took matters into my own hands. The courts didn't help and neither did you. Molly Murphy is a money hungry attorney who shouldn't be able to guard the decisions of any ones children. I will be filing more complaints against Molly and seeking justice against her office as well. Right now my kids father is under investigation for child abuse and neglect, so thank you Molly and the civil courts building of st. Louis,. You made sure to really do your job with the least of your abilities and i hope you pay for it.
