I have worked with Katie since before she started her own firm. We have been through alot in my 2 years divorce proceedings. She was able to fight and get me visitation when my ex wouldn't allow anything. Even after starting Element, I had to unfortunately revisit her with new issues and everything was solved as quickly as she could. I had been with another firm in town and switched to Element. I am so happy I did. Katie is an awesome attorney. She is smart, very compassionate and I know she fought for me. She really listened to me and her experience made a huge difference in my case. Divorce is hard and I don't wish it on anyone. But if you have to go through it, you should have someone like Katie in your corner. This team is great.

I started cant say enough good things about my experience with Caitlyn and Emily. They both made my divorce go smoothly and they made me feel like I mattered. It took awhile because of covid but it was a great experience. I don't plan to ever get divorced again but if I do I know where I will be going. Seriously Caitlyn and Emily are amazing.

Mike Oldenkamp, who works here, has not paid back money he borrowed from friends. Despite repeated attempts at asking why or getting him to make good on his debts, he ignores these requests. I find it shameful. Please pay back the money you borrowed Mike Oldenkamp.

Katie Mazurek is hands down, without a doubt, the best family lawyer in Bozeman. With the help of the rest of the team at Element, she's unstoppable. Her support, encouragement, and recommendations for my son and me have been imperative during my parenting plan struggles. Lindsay Ward has been a fantastic addition to my case and I have always felt that I am in very strong, competent hands. The struggles of divorce and co-parenting can be immense, but having good representation, advice, and people who genuinely listen and understand what you're going through is the key to getting past it all, no matter how rough things become. Lori is no-nonsense, skilled, knowledgeable, well-networked, experienced, and efficient. Lori only cared about taking close to $80,000 from me, was dishonest and unethical in many of her dealings, and failed to meet deadlines she promised to make, resulting in damage to me and loss of integrity in my case. She also forgot to include important information in her case pleadings, and her failure to take timely action resulted in my order of protection against my abuser being dropped by the District Court, who has since harassed me, stolen from me and threatened me mercilessly. Lori is dishonest in her dealings. If you want all of your money taken, with zero results in your favor, Lori is your girl. She also screamed the F-bomb at me in front of others (yes, there were witnesses) and mocked me often for having a disability, so if you want to be shamed and treated like a child, and have her throw her narcissistic fits of rage at you in the court room, to botch your case, pick her. She tantrums like a three year old and fails to see her role in her grossly unprofessional misconduct. She blames everyone else for her poor behavior. She is very, very immature and simply wants to exploit others for money. One star is far too generous for this unethical farm girl. I have zero trust in her and I do not respect her in any way, shape or form. Again, all she wants is money and she cares little about her clients or their case.

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a so-called professional. She had never met either myself or my son, who is a disabled veteran, but her first words to him were, "You do meth, don't you? And don't lie to me, because I know you do." She based her judgement solely upon his appearance (he is permanently wounded from his service to our country and because of chronic pain, his appetite is affected and he is thin). Even after explaining this fact to her, she persisted in telling us that she was an expert in recognizing "meth-heads" and refused to apologize. She spent our $200 session self-aggrandizing and singing her own accolades. (She did not refund our money) My son was there for custody advice and she told him it was basically hopeless. As a footnote, we hired a wonderful, competent attorney and my son now has complete and full custody and is full of hope! Run, do not walk, from this horrible woman. She has a terrible reputation around town. Just ask other attorneys.

I appreciated the legal services of P.Mars Scott. Before I hired him, he explained options available to handle the divorce myself if desired. P. Mars works closely with his paralegals. The paralegals do much of the leg work and do an excellent job of relaying the nuances of the case to Mars My paralegal always responded to my questions/concerns in a timely manner, usually the same or next day. When working directly with Mars, I found him ethical, methodical, composed, and thorough. He was upfront regarding the costs of presenting a case in front of a judge, while presenting the strengths of weaknesses of the case. I relied heavily on those qualities throughout this difficult process.

P. Mars Scott may in fact be the most respected family law attorney in the State of Montana. This reputation with peers, courts, and past clients across the State is well earned. If you take the time to review pivotal family law cases put forth and decided at the Supreme Court for the state of Montana, as I did, you will quickly find that many of those most important cases were argued by and won by P. Mars Scott. What I found most impressive about P. Mars Scott, was that despite his excellent trial reputation and superior trial skills, was his ability to calm the process and avoid the court room in favor of vigorously negotiated favorable results. Family law is by its very nature, unpleasant. When I hear of these expensive cases I know that most likely these costly cases are the result of gross failures by the attorneys involved. The respective attorneys allowed the environment and emotions to rise to the level that they forced a judge to make a decision that they could not achieve inexpensively and competently in the best interest of their clients. Good drama for television, bad results for you as once you enter the courtroom, the costs simply explode and usually a judge’s decision will make both parties unhappy. I unconditionally recommend P. Mars Scott and his firm if your objective is to achieve the best outcomes possible for yourself at the most reasonable cost given the circumstances.

My boyfriend and I ended up working mostly with Simon Fickinger, this law firm's in-house parenting expert. Such people are hired to offer mediation and help at a stressful time. However, Fickinger often didn't bother remembering or consulting basic scheduling details. He didn't follow up on anything with our lawyer, as he said he would. He also was condescending and had a chip on his shoulder about correct legal terminology.

Unfortunately I have had a few run-ins with the law and have made the mistake of hiring attorneys that did nothing for me or my case. I did a lot of research and found Marty. Being that I was facing my 5th offense DUI and prison time, I needed to find the right representation. I can say without a doubt that Judnich Law was the best investment my family and I made...I was looking at a mandatory minimum 13 month prison sentence and Marty worked his magic and got the DUI dismissed to a lesser offense with no jail time, no fines. If you are facing any serious offense, I would hire this firm hands down.

I live out of state and needed a law firm I could trust, especially during the pandemic when it seemed like any number of random issues could derail the normal flow of the legal process.
