I had a difficult custody issue. My ex took our daughter out of state and refused to let me see her. I hired Jennifer Moore. Jennifer was able to work with the North Carolina courts and me in California with only one actual person to person meeting. She had my ex's emergency custody order thrown out, daughter was given dual state residency, and I received my right to 50% custody. Between Jennifer and Flo, all my questions were answered and my requests taken. They negotiated a long distance, out of state custody issue and handled it perfectly. The stress off my shoulders was tremendous. Very professional.

Jennifer and Flo helped my other half and I with a custody matter I am the first to admit that we are not the easiest or most patient clients since our professional work revolves around making business operations more efficient (and the legal system is anything but!). We passed 100's of documents, emails, text messages to Jennifer and Flo and somehow they managed to keep them organized and available as evidence when needed. We feel that Jennifer did an amazing job understanding where we were coming from, setting realistic expectations as to the outcome, and working with us at every step of the way as new fuel was added to the fire. We ended up at trial for ~6 days and Jennifer argued our case and advocated for us in the way I would have done myself... had I gone to law school and passed the bar, of course. Our case was neither easy nor a normal custody battle; it was not an easy fight and we are so grateful that Jennifer was able to take everything we threw at her in stride and eloquently present our position. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that sometimes communication would take a bit longer than we'd like. However, we blame this as much on the system as we do Jennifer and Flo. When you have multiple attorneys involved, bickering parties and a judge there's a lot of paper to shuffle and a lot of balls in the air. It can take several days to coordinate all of those parties to get something done, but again, I think this is more just how these cases work and less how Jennifer and Flo do. We will continue to use Moore Law in the future for all of our family law needs and encourage others to do so as well.

Hired Jeff for a custody case. He is a terrible lawyer. I told him my kids were at risk and he did not care. Unresponsive and acted like I was a burden. His whole staff did. Even though I payed them a lot of money. Do not hire them they only care about getting payed. They put my kids in danger! And he did not care at all! Find another lawyer in Franklin for any of your legal issues. Terrible that’s all I have to say.

I paid $200 to talk to him for less than 30 minutes. He took no notes and offered no solutions other than the ones I had read online. He was obviously not interested in my issue. He is probably ok for very standard situations but do not waste your money on any situation the requires legwork.

My family had a situation that occurred that had very serious charges associated and an attorney by the name of Mr. Jonathan Kidd was recommended to us. He got the charges reduced to misdemeanors. He was very professional; very thorough; and very affordable. Mr. Kidd explained the charges as well as the court process to us where we could understand and I must say, everything that he explained to us occurred exactly in that manner in court. I thank God for leading us to Mr. Kidd's practice because if we had not had an attorney that was well abreast and knowledgeable in his field, our situation would not have had such a positive outcome.

My older sister first engaged Ms. Clark to prepare her will. When my sister’s eyesight failed and other disabilities occurred it was Ms. Clark that encouraged her to prepare a medical power of attorney …a crucial document as her disabilities became worse..   After her death I engaged Ms. Clark to help me as the Executrix to carry out my sister’s wishes as described in her will. I can not stress how much you should not use this law firm. I have never felt more ripped off in my life. Every penny spent with them was a waste as absolutely zero progress was made. Going through what is arguable the most stressful experience in my life, a custody battle. Hopelessness is the only feeling you will get if you choose to move forward with this law firm. They will wither down any money you put down before even getting you a court date. The only thing I would like to add is Rebekah M. the paralegal was very responsive and pleasant to deal with and this review is in no way a reflection on her performance.

Chris represented me against a prestigious Charlotte firm, whom often intimidates other attorneys, as they stand firmly behind their three letter initials (J*D). He immediately found errors in the Opposing Counsel’s Motion for Contempt and Chris did not waste my time, preparing for the Contempt Motion (as he knew we had grounds for a dismissal, and we were granted such). He and his team are always professional and conscious of my expenditures, while keeping my goals at the forefront of my representation. He also represented me against the same J*D firm last year in another hearing and he was able to get a positive result, by negotiating with opposing Counsel by focusing on my ultimate wants. I highly recommend Chris Miller and commend him for his professionalism, focus, knowledge and execution (and I say this firmly after going through three other local family law firms over the past five years).

I had 2 prior lawyers who only cared about billable hours costing me over $20,000 for a divorce with no children, only 1 asset (primary home),and my exhusband had a DUI, hit & run, and history of alcoholism. My previous lawyers gave Nick garbage to work with and he got me an end quickly and I actually got to keep some assets . The agreements and settlements written by my previous lawyer were so poorly written they contradicted themselves and were extremely vague. My case should have been a slam dunk, but it took over 2 years to end. After my first 1 hour consultation, Nick had everything he needed to draft my contempt of court hearing. All documents were clearly defined to the level that was beyond a shadow of a doubt. He gave me peace of mind again. This is the level of professionalism Nick brings to the table. Nick Cushing is worth every penny and was more expensive per hour than my other lawyers and charged me less overall. It took my other lawyers hours to write something, but it only took Nick one time hear my concern and implement it immediately. My friend, who was impressed with Nick's results, switched to Miller Bowles Cushing. 10 stars out of 5.
