I was lucky enough to be referred to Mrs. Sellers after I left my husband of 16 years. As with most divorces, this is an emotional and stressful time. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Sellers and her paralegal, Jenny Pattana. Not only did they provide legal support and advice, they eased the emotional burden. I couldn't be happier with service, performance, and results that I've received from The Blain Law Firm. VERY professional, attentive, and effective...one of the things that I appreciated was that while I logically know I wasn't their only client...at no time did I ever feel like I was just another number or that Sabrina Blain looked at my case in dollar signs for the firm. I also REALLY appreciated Ms. Blain's ability to breakdown the "legal-ese" into laymans terms so that I had an understanding of what was going on at all times. From the first conversation I had with Sabrina, my instincts told me she was the right person to bring into my extremely complicated custody case. The case dragged on for almost two years finally ending in a final custody trial. Sabrina was my counsel for each step of the way. Sabrina and I were able to work together as a team to navigate each step across a very challenging road. Sabrina has the ability to listen, organize strategy, and execute a plan. She possesses only positive energy and is dynamic when appropriate. While there are many examples I could refer to throughout this long process, where i was absolutely most impressed was over the course of the 11 hour trial. Sabrina's level of preparation was outstanding. She also possesses a masterful ability to think very quickly and multi task during a live trial. Her ability to be creative is also excellent, which is highly necessary when trying to manage the rules of the courtroom. Her level of skill when cross examining is second to none. She was able to take a case that is of the most challenging type possible and expose the truth in the most surprising way. My expectations were beyond exceeded! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT choose this law firm to represent you. They are very inexperienced and Kelsey Ring, in particular, is a total waste of an attorney. My friend, unfortunately, was referred to this law firm and to Ms Ring and made the mistake of retaining them to handle her divorce. After just over a year of virtually nothing being accomplished, and very limited communication (but always on time with the billing) she was finally forced to seek new counsel. Although Ms Ring gave her the false impression at first that she would fight for her, she absolutely caved to the opposing attorney's wishes. Do yourself a favor and check out her FB profile first .. it will give you an idea of how unprofessional she really is.

I have had the most wonderful experience with Epperson law group! They have been so responsive and by my side through this whole custody deal I am going thorough. I worked with this firm (James and Amber) for over 1 year. My experience was horrible. Here are some of the reasons for my negative review: they overbilled me multiple times, they charged my credit card without my approval once, they repeatedly told me that my ex would pay for all of my attorney fees when I win my case and that was NOT what happened, they dropped me as soon as I told them I needed more time to pay them in full, they advised me on issues which ended up being very detrimental to my life and my case. I trusted them and they failed me in the end. I would not recommend using this law firm. James and Amber were my main contacts there. Feel free to contact me for more info.

This was the most stressful experience, and has made an already messy divorce much more stressful and emotionally consuming. I called this law firm to see if I could get representation for my divorce from my soon to be ex husband. I paid the $250 consultation fee and had a very promising start. I then proceeded to pay them their retainer fee but I never heard back. I tried calling and emailing and even went down there because nobody would get back in touch with me. Eventually they told me they did not have me on file as a client, even after I had shelled out money to them. I have my bank records showing I sent them money, and I have my initial email from them yet they insist they have not met with me. This was wholly unprofessional. I feel scammed, embarrassed, and taken advantage of. Maybe if you can actually get them to respond to you they might provide good representation, but that was not my case.

Chris represented me against a prestigious Charlotte firm, whom often intimidates other attorneys, as they stand firmly behind their three letter initials (J*D). He immediately found errors in the Opposing Counsel’s Motion for Contempt and Chris did not waste my time, preparing for the Contempt Motion (as he knew we had grounds for a dismissal, and we were granted such). He and his team are always professional and conscious of my expenditures, while keeping my goals at the forefront of my representation. He also represented me against the same J*D firm last year in another hearing and he was able to get a positive result, by negotiating with opposing Counsel by focusing on my ultimate wants. I highly recommend Chris Miller and commend him for his professionalism, focus, knowledge and execution (and I say this firmly after going through three other local family law firms over the past five years).

I had 2 prior lawyers who only cared about billable hours costing me over $20,000 for a divorce with no children, only 1 asset (primary home),and my exhusband had a DUI, hit & run, and history of alcoholism. My previous lawyers gave Nick garbage to work with and he got me an end quickly and I actually got to keep some assets . The agreements and settlements written by my previous lawyer were so poorly written they contradicted themselves and were extremely vague. My case should have been a slam dunk, but it took over 2 years to end. After my first 1 hour consultation, Nick had everything he needed to draft my contempt of court hearing. All documents were clearly defined to the level that was beyond a shadow of a doubt. He gave me peace of mind again. This is the level of professionalism Nick brings to the table. Nick Cushing is worth every penny and was more expensive per hour than my other lawyers and charged me less overall. It took my other lawyers hours to write something, but it only took Nick one time hear my concern and implement it immediately. My friend, who was impressed with Nick's results, switched to Miller Bowles Cushing. 10 stars out of 5.

Collins Law Firm is the best. All of the staff is nice and caring. I have worked with attorneys Caitlin and Christine. They have been very great and pleasurable to work with. They are well educated on everything and they definitely handle clients with care and professionalism. Brooke, is awsome as well. I can not stress how much you should not use this law firm. I have never felt more ripped off in my life. Every penny spent with them was a waste as absolutely zero progress was made. Going through what is arguable the most stressful experience in my life, a custody battle. Hopelessness is the only feeling you will get if you choose to move forward with this law firm. They will wither down any money you put down before even getting you a court date. The only thing I would like to add is Rebekah M. the paralegal was very responsive and pleasant to deal with and this review is in no way a reflection on her performance.
