There is absolutely no one else you want on your side other than Michael Gjesdahl and his team. If you are googling family attorneys, you are probably going through one of the hardest times in your life where it is absolute chaos and anger in your head. From the moment I had my first meeting, my mind was as peaceful as it could be considering the circumstance, knowing I was in the hands of an extremely capable team. Alexa on the team is an extremely bright attorney and will be a heavy hitter in no time in the FM area. Gina was extremely professional and truly knowledgeable. When it comes to Mike, there is no other way of putting this, his reputation precedes him in his expertise. From the research I had done prior to picking Mike, most attorneys loose sleep going up against him. This really helps you know that your team will always have your best interest in mind all while being legally capable of handling almost any scenario. The advice I can give anyone reading this is TRUST THEM, they do this for a living. You DO NOT last decades in this business without be exceptionally good at what you do. There were many times I was not being rational in my expectations due to the horror of what one goes through during this process. I was thankful for the empathy the entire team showed when it was needed, I was also happy of the no nonsense no sugar coating when it was needed, when I truly benefited from hearing what was often hard to hear. In my story, Mike & his entire team were vital in making sure my story ended with a happy ending which honestly wouldn’t have been possible without them. I wish I never need them again but if I do, I’ll be back!!!

I would give them zero stars if I could! They overcharge and tried to encourage my husband to do things that were unnecessary to manipulate him for their own financial gain. Their website said one thing but they were telling him the exact opposite. Eleven thousand dollars later and absolutely nothing was handled, specifically by attorney Kari Losee. If you'r looking for someone to manipulate and try and spend your money and make you fight so they can charge more, then you have come to the right place with Gjesdahl Law! My advice would be to keep looking! There are much much better and more ethical legal teams out there....this one is the biggest joke in Fargo!

If you are looking to get overcharged and ripped off, this is the place. I was overcharged, and then told I got a great deal when I called him out on overcharging. For advice I could’ve gotten on google. As soon as the meeting with this lawyer started I realized it was a waste of my time. Not only did I NOT get good counsel, I got overcharged. Do yourself a favor and take your business literally anywhere else.

I had Josh help with my divorce. He was quick to respond and also very patient with any kind of questions I had about the legal process. If I had anything that was needing to be changed, he was quick to get things updated. Divorce isn't fun and complicated, but it is helpful to have a person guide you through the process and make sure you know whats going on and how it will all work.

Josh messed up alot on my case . he dose everything so fast and his way. My case was unique. He created fights with my ex and I about custody after I told him repeatedly I can't bring my kids to school.. I work to early..then he gave away my motorcycle at the very end for the divorce decree( if I would of.fought it I would of.lost my house I was trying to get)... There's more he messed up on but every time when I had to call him and talk to him about his mistakes.. He charges me for it.. Josh's team is excellent.. Josh did not impress me and I still have questions un answered.. I wouldn't recommend josh.. Unless you have a straight forward divorce.. And he's also super expensive.. Which I didnt care. I just wanted the best.. And I didnt get the best.. I got burned

I had a unique divorce case that I needed help with. I called several law offices and they all wanted to charge me a fortune and not even listen to what I had to say. Josh and his staff were the only ones willing to sit down and talk to me first and get all the details and explain the process. The retainer was reasonable and I was very happy with their services and would use them again in the future.
