First of all I would like to compliment Kaitlyn and her staff on being incredibly professional and helpful all the way up until my appointment. Lexi , who I had many phone conversations with before my appointment date was extremely knowledgeable and showed kindness and empathy towards me when I discussed my legal matter with her. She was top of the line. So, we went ahead and scheduled the appointment and as soon as I showed up I was greeted with smiles and friendly faces from both Destiny and Lexi. These situations can be nerve wrecking and the ladies made me feel very comfortable. When I got into Kaitlyn's personal office we went over the court paperwork that I had brought in and she gave me a very professional and knowledgeable assessment of what she believed my options were. She was very educated in what she was talking about and explained and went through every single paper. She is an exceptional attorney and I am thankful that I have found her to help me with any other future cases that might come along. I found Kaitlyn by word of mouth and referral by two others that were actively using her services. I needed someone that had my best interest as well as my son's. Kaitlyn was able to pull from past complex experiences to keep things fair and reasonable. The opposing team was incredibly and purposefully slow and had unrealistic expectations. Kaitlyn developed well opposing arguments as well as followed appropriate channels with the courts to stop opposing counsel from stalling. Kaitlyn knows what is fair and is not here to just give clients unreasonable asks. She has great relationships with the courts and opposing teams which is a good thing to have on your side if some matters can be discussed between counsel rather than expensive court sessions.

Kaitlyn Miller Law has been in our life for at least 3 years as we have worked on getting custody of my boyfriend's children. Review for Joel Barber, Esq., and Sydnie Paige Esq., and the entire Barber Law Group – May 2021 Joel Barber reviewed my case and determined to give me the “benefit of the doubt” and fight for me. This was regarding a false accusation case that needed the right lawyer who had compassion and insight to help me (the client) get through a very sad and challenging allegation. They say they handle cases with dignity and it is true. The team pulled my case together efficiently and compassionately with confidence. Joel Barber, Esq., and Sydnie Paige Esq., to their credit, spent the quality time needed to understand the nature of the allegation. They clearly and concisely summed up the situation in order to present the facts needed to win my case.  Zoom meetings are difficult, especially for a court hearing and yet with Barber Law Group conquered the situation with confidence and expertise.  Joel got to the meat of the issue professionally and aggressively to accomplish the right result. I have come to know the barber law office as most reliable, confident, knowledgeable and straight forward. Joel will not promise something he can not deliver. I appreciate this as it is hard to find. Liz is thorough, kind, and ethical. This too is hard to find. The Barber Law Office staff has always been responsive, very friendly and communicated efficiently. My only regret is that i did not consult him sooner.

Jessica has represented me for 5 years in a highly contentious litigation with my the father of two of my children, who is a litigator himself. I want to preface my review by first sharing that I 100% remember how absolutely daunting and stressful it was to have to choose a stranger to help me defend my life, and the only thing I truly cared about- my children. I had worked with two other attorneys before finding Jessica, and my trust and hope broke down with each of them. Jessica, over the course of half a decade, has proven herself to be not only exhaustively accurate and careful, but realistic, empathetic, fair, invested, humane, kind-hearted, supportive, beyond competent in litigating and handling a multitude of different types of people and cases, reliable, trustworthy, communicative, and patient. To find all of these qualities subsumed into a person, much less an attorney, much less a family law attorney, is a rarity that I cannot even begin to articulate. My case involves two children, is being litigated in two states simultaneously, and their father is a relentless, vexatious litigant. The legal history and and facts of the case are as complicated as they could possibly be. She has handled every motion, hearing, trial, appeal, conference, and communication without a hint of weakness, frustration, or exhaustion. It’s typically common knowledge that no money equals no justice, but I had next to nothing and the father of my kids earned millions of dollars per year at huge law firms and had every resource imaginable- she did not allow me to drown and did not allow his conduct to dissuade her. She went out of her way to ensure that she did not ever incur unnecessary fees. Many attorneys market themselves as “winners” in efforts to obtain business- that descriptor is neither trustworthy nor possible, nor is it accurate, because no attorney has complete control over the law or what a judge will exercise discretion over. What does matter is an attorney’s understanding of the law and process, ability to be precise, reliable, and prepared, ability to both litigate and encourage settlement, and ability to de-escalate needlessly contentious and expensive issues with both opposing counsel and opposing pro-se/pro-per. Jessica has mastered all of these skills to perfection and after having been represented by multiple attorneys in two different states through a series of conferences, depositions, trials, hearings, and settlements, I can say that she is a very rare find. There may possibly be less expensive attorneys in the area, but they will undoubtedly bill substantially more hours for work that she can do efficiently and skillfully. You will end up paying more if you shop for the cheapest per-hour representation. In conclusion, I absolutely, undoubtedly, passionately recommend her.

Friendly and professional. However my friend paid a fairly steep price for an uncontested divorce and they tacked the filing fees on top of that. He had to make a second trip to sign forms for child custody. They should have had that altogether. It was like they didn't know it was required.

There are few words to describe how grateful I am to Jessica Anderson and her team. I had a very complicated and difficult relocation case that many people would have ran away from, but not Jessica. Mikyla recently represented a member of my family in a divorce action. She staunchly defended him throughout the entire ordeal. You get what you pay for, the saying goes, and I think this is especially true with regards to Attorneys. Jamie Henry was recommended to me by a family friend, and I wasn't the easiest client to deal with at first. However, all of my hesitancies and doubts were quickly erased when I met with her and saw the immense and wide-ranging set of skills she has in so many different areas of the law. She has worked in the Family Law area for many years and her expertise was truly impressive. I felt immediately that I could trust her recommendations, which is saying a lot because I often think I know best. :) And Jamie Henry is experienced with all kinds of different aspects of the law. In my case, my issues were complicated and complex, ranging from issues with family law to domestic violence and petty crimes all wrapped up into a terrible package. Jamie Henry handled it all with grace, efficiency and boldness. She was a fighter for me, employing methods and routes which I had never thought of or knew about, proving her worth by her ability to navigate the justice system in ways that average attorneys or people representing themselves just cannot. Family Law is full of "lawyers". Finding the right one can be more then a challenge. Don't look any further then Jamie. I had a very complicated divorce due to the other party, despite every effort on the other parties part to drag out and fight to get more than was fair at every step, the process was smooth with Jamie, and in almost every instance of the legal games the other lawyer played, things always went in my favor. As a father/male you almost always judged the wrongdoer, and kids usually end up with mom. When I saw my kids were suffering we got one of the best children's/teen Psychiatrists in Reno to see my youngest who was having exception trouble. Jame knew who to turn to at every step to help my girls. In my case the kids wanted to live with me, and that's just what happened. Divorces can be very difficult or they can be nice and smooth, but in my case, what was both difficult, was also smooth with Jamie. I had very difficult divorce, yet it was an absolutely smooth process. In the end we did better then what we had initially offered at the onset of the proceedings.

Kevin cancelled my case without reason adn refused to take it up again. He refunded my initial fee of $100 saying I was disputing his fees. I did not. He emailed me using a "do not reply" email. Very shady and I don't know why. I'm 70 years old, and not in the habit of lying. Can't say the same for lawyers, I guess. I don't want to become petty just because a lawyer didn't take time to understand the situation. I would remove if i could, but I can't. I do not want to damage his rating, however. He seemed like a nice guy when we first met.
