After having a poor experience with another attorney, I set out to hire the *right* attorney. I went through an EXTENSIVE interview process with nearly ten attorneys. I narrowed the list down to three. When I chose Ralph Kerns, I contacted the other two attorneys and advised them of my choice, to which they both indicated I made a great choice. Respect from competitors is always a good sign. Ralph is a very good attorney. He understands domestic law very well and I would certainly recommend him with one caveat. Where his firm, and frankly I think many attorneys miss the boat is in the customer service department. The firm in general is not consistently pleasurable or prompt with replies to calls or emails. I did experience miss-communications on more than one occasion. I personally know many attorneys and this seems to be a very common issue. I don't know if it's that they are simply over worked or that they are just so wrapped up in what they do in the court room, that they forget how important it is to provide the service we as paying clients need... and deserve. If working with them were more enjoyable, I would have given them a 5+ star review. Another point about Ralph A. Kerns & Associates that I did like is they seem to bill quite fairly and do not nickle and dime. So if you are looking for a very skilled attorney at a reasonable rate and you have the patience to deal with average service, this firm is for you.

DO NOT HIRE RALPH KERNS. I am a former football player at Ohio State and a tech entrepreneur. I hired Ralph Kerns to defend me in my divorce case and it’s been three years and I still haven’t seen my children. He and the opposing party worked together to throw my case. He convinced me that it was a good idea to sign over the deed of my house to my ex wife in the middle of the divorce. And coerced me into signing the rights away to my children. He is for sale and the opposing party can buy him. Do not hire him and he should be facing litigation and his license should be suspended.

I would highly recommend Amy M. Levine and Associates. I had been dealing with a court matter for little over a year and had not made much progress. I retained Scott Martin and my case was immediately resolved within 2 months. He did an amazing job! He was very professional and proficient in the work did. If you need legal council from a competent and professional firm and would also like the process to run as smoothly and quickly as possible, then i would highly recommend Scott Martin with Amy M Levine and associates.

I chose to hire this firm for a civil matter regarding parental right issues. I paid them 1,500 for a retainer before signing the retainer agreement. They sent me a retainer agreement and a financial worksheet which they LOST when I sent it back and they requested me to send it out a second time to them. After that incident, I received a phone call while I was at work, with regards to my matter before signing the retainer agreement and sending it to them. It was a completely different attorney then we previously spoke too with different views then the first. I decided I did not want to retain the firm. I was charged 252 dollars..

I found Amy several years ago from the phone book. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, professional and most of all, an advocate for me. She helped me through a difficult time and fought to make a wrong right. She has always been available to me and never made me feel stupid. She has very reasonable prices and is willing to work with you, she respects your situation. I have referred multiple people to her throughout the years and they have ALL been very satisfied. She has been my attorney for years and has never let me down. Not to mention she has won every time. I HIGHLY recommend Amy Levine as an attorney.

When I first started with them I asked for a woman to represent me. They said ok and the male attorney showed up instead. I felt a woman would be better equipped. They agreed but did not honor their agreement to provide a woman who obviously was available. The guy just kept telling me how lucky I was to have great attorneys working with me now and bringing up money even while we were at court. Their billing practices are outrageous. They care about their clients only if they are rich. They have people who are not attorneys do their heavy lifting, charge you an insane amount and will barely answer the phone or reply to emails. Again if you're rich you'll get the white glove treatment if not they will treat you like an untouchable. Can't say enough about how much these people are terrible individuals and represent what everyone hates about attorneys.

As a divorce lawyer - she was OK. I chose her because she was honest and didn't promise anything. My major concern was that she didn't respond to emails at times and appeared unorganized. For example, after my divorce was final she sent me an email asking if I wanted my court documents and of course charged me 15 mins just to ask me that. I replied with a yes and asked for a time to pick them up. She never bothered to respond to my email.

I needed representation in a domestic relations case; I was told the Chelsea Long was willing to represent me, but needed to submit something to an ethics committee because of the nature of my case. I waited three weeks for a response from her or her office and never received one. In the meantime I was threatened by the other party's attorney to be thrown in jail for contempt of court because I didn't respond fast enough to the other party's request. This practice was supposed to be really good, and I'm disappointed with my experience. I hope others have a better experience.

I have worked with Mr. Greco on multiple occasions including dissolution, shared parenting plan creation, a modification of shared parenting plan and now a termination of shared parenting plan due to obtaining custody. I cannot stress how fantastic he and his entire staff are. Mr. Greco's knowledge base/tenacity are second to none, and couple that with his years of experience, you have a Goliath of an attorney supporting you. He is able to foresee just about every twist and turn imaginable and come absolutely prepared to engage. He is an absolute bulldog, and does not back down or roll over to opposition. There is not another attorney in Ohio that I would ever consider helping me with any issue in terms of family law. Attorney Greco, and his staff, remain completely engaged before, during and even after all legal activities are completed. They have provided so much guidance, even after the fact, that has been extremely beneficial in navigating handling issues with an unruly ex.
