Attorney Art Silverblatt is the best choice for a family law attorney/ child custody/ equitable distribution. Art possesses a professional demeanor and is forthcoming with strategies and will sit down and explain all options and legalities with you. He is honest (which is a hard trait to find with legal council). He handles opposing council with professionalism and is very quick-witted. As far as responsiveness, I contacted him when in a panicked situation and he returned my call within minutes while he was on vacation out of state. Please don’t waste your money. He asked for all money up front and it’s been over 6 months and he’s not helping me and now I won’t be able to get my money back. I know this guy is cheaper than others, but I would recommend to spend the extra money somewhere else. I was trying to get a divorce and he never called with updates. I had to be the one calling several times for him to get back to me. If I would’ve done this by myself I think I would already be divorced. Don’t waste your money.

If I could leave you zero stars I absolutely would. The good reviews are lies. He legit didn't help me, didn't communicate, judged me, refused to listen to my story, didn't do anything I asked him to do and the last thing when I fired him and asked him for copies of my case. He told me I owed him money and deleted my entire online account with all of the case files on it . Super unprofessional

I had Attorney Burkett assist me with Child Support and Child Custody. She was very responsive to my inquiries and kept me in the loop the entire time. I was very happy to have her assistance during the Support case because she brought up items that really helped my case. It was one less thing I needed to try and deal with. During my Custody issue, I explained to her what my concerns were. We initially discussed some options, but ultimately went to Conciliation. At that time, Attorney Burkett helped me to make it clear what my sticking points were and why. Ultimately, we were able to come to an agreement at conciliation, which surprised me. I was almost sure we'd have to go to Court. I know it may seem best to be agreeable and work things out with exes, but I was happy to have the assistance of the best, most knowledgeable family law attorney in Lebanon. I have recommended Attorney Burkett to family and friends if they ever needed assistance with anything. I would gladly use her and her firm again.

Cheryl has been my lawyer for about a year now. She’s fixed a majorly screwed up custody case a previous attorney had me in and then continues to fight tooth and nail for me for everything. She’s always kept me in loop, makes sure I understand what’s going to happen and what we can and can’t do and tells me the truth whether I want to hear it or not. I couldn’t ask for a better lawyer and genuinely feel like I’ve made a friend when I talk to her. This law office is nothing short of phenomenal. I had some very difficult custody issues which I understand are pretty costly, but wow. I spent thousands of dollars with Purdy Law Office, specifically Allison Hastings, because I thought I was retaining the best per the reviews I had seen. I felt I was under represented. I would ask questions in emails and Ms. Hastings just would simply not reply to parts of the email she did not want to or could not answer. Contempt papers should’ve been filed and were not, so I essentially had to start my case over with a different attorney. I was billed for services not rendered and when I would reach out for explanation, I was told it was billed wrong and for something else entirely. I thought for the price I was paying, I would be fiercely represented. I felt quite “hung out to dry” by the entire experience. I cannot speak on Pam Purdy, as I had literally no contact with her throughout the entirety of my representation with Purdy Law, but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth with the Firm.

Pam Purdy did absolutely nothing for me in my divorce case. She was not at all sensitive to my situation and since I wouldn't spend $10,000+ on a Divorce Master, she dropped me because she said I "questioned her veracity." That was not true at all...the opposing counsel in the case questioned her veracity. I have a much better attorney now and the divorce is almost done, but I would NOT recommend this woman!

I found Heidi on google knowing that I dont have a backbone and that I would be talked in circles during my PFA. I contacted a few different attorneys and really was not happy with how dismissive they were toward me. Heidi was anything but dismissive. She was everything i hoped for and more. She is firm and smart and helped me through every step of this crazy process. She was my backbone for the day. I wasn't sure that I would need a lawyer for only a PFA but is am SO grateful I found her. I will absolutely be using her if a custody trial is necessary.

PLEASE READ EVERY NEGATIVE REVIEW. i was drawn to heidi by her profile and the positive reviews but my experience with heidi was a complete nightmare.the lack of compassion and care for her cases go to zero as soon as she is paid. prior to being paid i would have thought this attorney was heaven sent. she speaks to you only after you pay her. i believe it was $200-$300 for a hour and not a minute over. but will allow the consultation to conclude well before that 1hr is up. she makes her approach with you seem as if she is this winner and that everything will be ok as she has seen it all. you feel as sense of comfort and relief as she talks so swift about what she is going to do and how she does not like to lose. after she is hired all the energy goes to zero. you are now unable to speak to her via phone call as she will 90 percent of the time email you because she does not want to talk. she will make you feel as if she has done you a huge favor by proposing a offer that she makes without consulting you the client. when you have been stealing money as long as she has you know the courts. attorney's know the out comes well before you go to trial. they all have lunch together, they work in the same courthouse as there fellow colleagues. so they know the system. these are the same people that attend law school together and are good friends with the judges. do not ask her NOTHING outside of what you paid her for because she will not listen and will remind you that she cares nothing about that and that you did not pay her for that. she spoke to the plaintiff in my case without my knowledge. i had court today she also told me that she was appearing via zoom and told me to do the same. so when i log on to zoom my attorney is actually at the court house with the plaintiff. it was almost as if i paid her to defend the other party. after the hearing she never called me i had to contact her, which she then sent me to vm after the 3 rings and called me back. when she called it was silent as if i had to speak to her first. there was no recap, no explanation, no what to look forward to, what had happened, or what was to come, moving forward. please if i could save anyone. please read this. you will greatly appreciate saving a great deal of money. there are actually attorneys that do there job well and will share a sense of compassion for you and their work. I remembered i spoke to her about representing me at the a custody hearing seperate from my pfa hearing today. she told me the the fee would be $7500 and that would be for her standing on her feet for the day and she laughed at me and told me no judge in a black robe will give me 50/50 shared custody. this is the attorney i hired for my pfa hearing. now making me feel so uncomfortable i paid her for the pfa and she laughs at me as if i was a scum of the earth. i am going on every social media platform to warn people.

I am almost certain Heidi is excellent in court. However during the events that precede, which tend to be the most emotional, expensive and significant portion of the litigation process, she leaves much to be desired. The initial consultation appointment should answer all questions and arm you with the knowledge necessary to continue with confidence. Unfortunately that was not the result of our consultation with Heidi. We departed with googled printouts of laws and regulations and had to conduct our own research to get the answers we paid her to provide.

I found Joe haphazardly. Little did I know my secretary knows his family well. He gave me facts! He gave me the nitty gritty of what my situation would entail. My husband and I are very pleased with the service Jansen provided. We were looking for an attorney with integrity (which is hard to find in the legal realm) who knows the system, has a good repertoire with the courts and will get straight to the point. Jansen exceeded this expectation. We have 14 years of custody and family court under our belts and we’ve had our experiences with great attorneys and some not so great. Our case was complex but I felt as if Jansen gave us advice and knowledge not based on how much we paid him but he truly wanted the best for our situation. He’s not a hand holder but he cares and it shows. He didn’t nickel and dime us for every single thing but was reasonable with our time and money. He was honest and respectful. He got things moving quickly and promptly with his own vacations in between. Christine (secretary) is sweet and was very helpful as well. She works very well with Jansen and can answer general questions accurately.???????? Our case was all taken care of while having to deal with covid restrictions. Zoom calls were convenient and professional. Communication was excellent. My husband and I were included every step of the way. Now we haven’t had to go into court in person with him- our stuff was all done over the phone and he filed the necessary things himself in person. I feel like that’s the tell tale (game day in front of a judge) of a great attorney but I am comfortable enough from our interactions and my experience that he would do great. He knows his stuff.
