I found Heidi on google knowing that I dont have a backbone and that I would be talked in circles during my PFA. I contacted a few different attorneys and really was not happy with how dismissive they were toward me. Heidi was anything but dismissive. She was everything i hoped for and more. She is firm and smart and helped me through every step of this crazy process. She was my backbone for the day. I wasn't sure that I would need a lawyer for only a PFA but is am SO grateful I found her. I will absolutely be using her if a custody trial is necessary.

PLEASE READ EVERY NEGATIVE REVIEW. i was drawn to heidi by her profile and the positive reviews but my experience with heidi was a complete nightmare.the lack of compassion and care for her cases go to zero as soon as she is paid. prior to being paid i would have thought this attorney was heaven sent. she speaks to you only after you pay her. i believe it was $200-$300 for a hour and not a minute over. but will allow the consultation to conclude well before that 1hr is up. she makes her approach with you seem as if she is this winner and that everything will be ok as she has seen it all. you feel as sense of comfort and relief as she talks so swift about what she is going to do and how she does not like to lose. after she is hired all the energy goes to zero. you are now unable to speak to her via phone call as she will 90 percent of the time email you because she does not want to talk. she will make you feel as if she has done you a huge favor by proposing a offer that she makes without consulting you the client. when you have been stealing money as long as she has you know the courts. attorney's know the out comes well before you go to trial. they all have lunch together, they work in the same courthouse as there fellow colleagues. so they know the system. these are the same people that attend law school together and are good friends with the judges. do not ask her NOTHING outside of what you paid her for because she will not listen and will remind you that she cares nothing about that and that you did not pay her for that. she spoke to the plaintiff in my case without my knowledge. i had court today she also told me that she was appearing via zoom and told me to do the same. so when i log on to zoom my attorney is actually at the court house with the plaintiff. it was almost as if i paid her to defend the other party. after the hearing she never called me i had to contact her, which she then sent me to vm after the 3 rings and called me back. when she called it was silent as if i had to speak to her first. there was no recap, no explanation, no what to look forward to, what had happened, or what was to come, moving forward. please if i could save anyone. please read this. you will greatly appreciate saving a great deal of money. there are actually attorneys that do there job well and will share a sense of compassion for you and their work. I remembered i spoke to her about representing me at the a custody hearing seperate from my pfa hearing today. she told me the the fee would be $7500 and that would be for her standing on her feet for the day and she laughed at me and told me no judge in a black robe will give me 50/50 shared custody. this is the attorney i hired for my pfa hearing. now making me feel so uncomfortable i paid her for the pfa and she laughs at me as if i was a scum of the earth. i am going on every social media platform to warn people.

Underwhelmed after seeing all the good reviews. I’m sure she’s good in actual court but all my meetings she was really optimistic about what she could do in the conferences and nothing at all changed. Felt like everything was sugar coated.

I am almost certain Heidi is excellent in court. However during the events that precede, which tend to be the most emotional, expensive and significant portion of the litigation process, she leaves much to be desired. The initial consultation appointment should answer all questions and arm you with the knowledge necessary to continue with confidence. Unfortunately that was not the result of our consultation with Heidi. We departed with googled printouts of laws and regulations and had to conduct our own research to get the answers we paid her to provide.

I found Joe haphazardly. Little did I know my secretary knows his family well. He gave me facts! He gave me the nitty gritty of what my situation would entail. He did not overcharge me, when he could have, but he told me to be patient, wait, and let him do his job. Needless to say, all's well that ends well. Cheryl has been my lawyer for about a year now. She’s fixed a majorly screwed up custody case a previous attorney had me in and then continues to fight tooth and nail for me for everything. She’s always kept me in loop, makes sure I understand what’s going to happen and what we can and can’t do and tells me the truth whether I want to hear it or not. Andrew Levin is the best lawyer, hands down. My daughter had a court appointed attorney who didi nothing for her. I knew I had to hire a private attorney. Out of all the attorneys I spoke to, Andrew was the only one who knew something was wrong. He got right on it, he got the police report and knew my daughter was arrested on a mistaken identity. He was able to get all the charges dropped. If it wasn't"t for Andrew, my daughter would still be in jail. He really cares about all his clients and goes above and beyond. I was poorly represented by this firm in 2018. I was referred to a specific attorney working at King Laird who came highly recommended by another attorney. I met with this attorney and liked his takeaways on how to approach this case so I gave a $3500 deposit. This attorney said it would be a simple case and would cost no more than $5500. After three months went by, I never heard from this attorney or the firm. After placing the call, one of the owners called back and said the attorney we met with was fired?? I expressed my reluctancy to move forward with this firm but he assured me that we had a good case. I trusted his word and gave this firm a second chance. After 5 months, this firm failed to file an emergency order, like the attorney said he would after speaking the second time. Time was lost again! An order was finally put in place on the other party 5 months after the deposit. After six additional months into the order, the other party failed to abide by the weekly terms of the order and our attorney never addressed this failure by filing a motion during this process to enforce compliance of this order. In fact, the attorney said, “we need to show a pattern of this failure to the judge to win our case.” I kept giving this firm a “second chance” for his negligence because I thought it was too late to change firms. This attorney kept changing his approach during the process, and would forget conversations I had with him and assigned another attorney to the case because he was too busy with other cases. He disregarded all the evidence I gave him to present against the defendant and said it wasn’t relevant? My “gut” was telling me he was not invested in our case and that other conversations were being held without our knowledge with the judge and the defendants attorney, because our attorney kept changing his approach and our case became less important. Two days before the hearing, the attorney sent over 135 questions to answer on paper and submit back to him. He was supposed to call and “PREP” us as witnesses and didn’t!! He NEVER called and allowed us to get on the stand UNPREPARED. We were attacked by the judge and the defendants attorney. Our credibility was twisted and criticized. It was clear this hearing was one sided as the defendant worked for the county and her boyfriend was a police officer that the judge said he recognized. The judge didn't care to hear about how for 6 months the defendants didn’t adhere to the order properly with phone calls or FaceTime. We were never able to speak with the children for 6 months and our attorney did nothing! The mother didn’t comply as she was the responsible party for the children. He had no closing statement to support our case when he said he would give a closing statement. We were threatened by the judge not to appeal, when it is our right under the law to appeal, and our attorney said nothing! Our judicial system and this firm failed my family and my grandchildren. It was very clear to me that the decision to give grandparents rights was pre-decided before we had a hearing. The final outcome of the hearing was a complete disgrace and the judge ordered no grandparents rights and no contact with the children until they are 18 years old, including the entire family. Our family still doesn’t know what the order means for the entire family because the attorney never had the professional courtesy to call us back to explain what the court order meant, when he said he would order a copy of the court order. I tried calling him and sent a letter and I never heard back from this firm. This firm billed us monthly giving unclear or no descriptions for the charges on the invoices. They received approximately $17,000 in legal fees in one year. We had to dispute unknown charges multiple times. This firm did not represent us in good faith, they made it worse for our family, but served their business model. I should have followed my instinct the first time when NO ACTION was taken. My family has not seen my grandchildren since January 2016 and regret hiring this firm.

Great experience for the first 12 months but last 30 days have been a disappointment. Andy and Tom were both really great and partnering with them provided positive results and outcomes so it’s really hard to give such an overall poor rating. —Specific concerns— 1. Inexperienced 2. Unprofessional 3. My attorney was often overwhelmed working with other clients 4. Issues raised were often disregarded, ignored, or completely forgotten 5. Legal counsel was hard to come by with philosophy and idealistic ramblings on parenting and people management prevalent 6. Callbacks and responses to emails needed to be heavily solicited I would be hesitant to recommend unless I was assured either Andy or Tom would be dedicated or very closely overseeing my case.

Can I give more than 5 stars? I wanted to take a few minutes to extend my gratitude to Andrew Laird and his office for all of their assistance in my DUI case. Mr. Laird represented me during the entire process, fully evaluated my particular facts and advised me of the potential outcomes and various plea offers extended by the District Attorney. My DUI would have been a 60 day driver’s license suspension and 12 months’ probation. His persistence paid off, he was able to work with the District Attorney for months to negotiate no driver’s license suspension, six months probation and a substantial amount less in court fees and fines. He kept pushing forward for me despite the circumstances. The level of communication from the office was beyond expectation. Mr. Laird provided status reports and if he was unavailable the other attorneys and his assistant were always available. They were all helpful with any questions and support that I needed during this process. They all went above and beyond. I would highly recommend King Laird to anyone needing assistance in their criminal case. I definitely rate the entire team 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you again!!!

I have the utmost respect for Kevin. Professionally he is extremely experienced, bright, and a winner. Personally he has first class ethical and moral standards, and is completely straight-forward with you whether you are going to like what you will be hearing or not. With regards to the office, they were incredibly friendly and professional, further contributing to an overall excellent experience given the circumstances. All the above is true, and I'll share some specific details from my case: First off, it was a very contentious case involving custody primarily, and also support. This should have been a very stressful period, and it was, but it was mitigated significantly by Kevin's expertise. His ability to resolve my current issue and also forecast and plan ahead relieved me quite a bit and removed a significant portion of the burden. There were numerous occasions where Kevin would meet with me on the weekend, sometimes very early in the morning, or take a late night call when something had come up. When we did not connect, he was always very prompt with his response time. Easy to work with and pleasant to talk to, Kevin is someone that I would recommend to anyone in my life whether they, or someone they might know, is in need of the services of a family law attorney. I found it very difficult to choose a lawyer, as there is no 'Consumer Reports' for attorneys, and it's not easily reviewable online. That said, if you are looking for the best attorney in Bucks County, look no further than Kevin Zlock.

My custody battle has been the scariest and most stressful experience of my life. I would never be at the point I am now in my fight for my children without Timothy Grisillo. Tim has fought for my children and I beyond all expectations. Tim's knowledge and know how is impressive to say the least. The emotional toll when fighting for custody is indescribable for me but Tim helped me stay on track and focus. Tim did this not just as the professional I hired but also as a man that genuinely cares about his clients. Timothy Grisillo has stood by me many times in court. Tim helped me win increased time with my biological son. Where other attorneys told me I would lose, Tim helped me win Loco Parentis standing for my non biological son. As it is the court who decides how much time you get with your children it is a very overwhelming and stressful experience. Tim's professionalism, composure, and obvious dedication to your case makes you feel safe and well taken care of while you are in the court room. Never at any moment over a whole year of having Tim as my attorney did i feel like "I just had a lawyer". Brian listens and presents his best argument. There have been more than a few times where we didn't' agree because I just wanted to be finished with my case and move on. Lawyers, in my own opinion, can easily become "perpeturators". Brian's not that person. He pushes when it's time to push. I would recommend Brian to anyone...except for my enemies.

Dawn is by far the best attorney I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her knowledge-base is seemingly endless and her ability to present material in front of a judge is noteworthy. Steven has been at my beck and call since I have acquired him for legal services in both personal property and family law situations over the years. He has superseded his duties by not only handling my matters properly and professionally but additionally by oftentimes preforming and presenting himself in court within short notice as needed.
