From the minute I sat down with Jason Wheeler I knew my search was over. He is honest, realistic, and extremely easy to get in touch with. Visit him yourself, you won't regret it.

Great first impression by Mr Peck but when I actually hired the firm my attorney did a terrible job. So much so, half way through, I called Mr. Peck, who was much harder to get on the phone once I paid and asked to replace him but he assured me I was in good hands. I felt like he brushed off my several concerns about the attorney. The second half was more of the same.A proposed settlement that included a property that neither party had owned in over 10 years even though I gave the home's physical address, parcel and I.D. number. The settlement had just a parcel and/or ID number but since he had already shown me his incompetence I double-checked it and found the mistake. When I asked him about it he told me the opposing attorney didn't like the description (address and parcel number) and fixed it. I guess it was easier to let her draw it up and make him look inept to his client once again. He even advised me to move forward with a settlement that was missing a key element outside of the courtroom. It was a bitter divorce and this item was small but very important and would protect me from malicious damage of a property that I was to take possession. I constantly reminded him of pictures of the property for the weeks leading up to our settlement date. When I asked on the final day outside of the courtroom he went to the opposing attorney and came back to me and said they'll send you pictures later. Luckily the judge saw I was uncomfortable when he asked was I happy with my representation. I didn't want to say no because I wanted to move forward but when he asked again my attorney tried to shush me as I mentioned the pictures. He then told both of the attorneys that my concern was legit. He didn't know my ex so he couldn't speak on whether she would do such a thing but it was no need to leave me open to that kind exposure (I'm paraphrasing). I know he was embarrassed in front of his colleagues but it seemed as if he was more interested in a relationship with the opposing attorney than what was in my best interest and this happened time and time again. On top of that he insisted that I pay his hourly fee to fix his own mistakes and allowed them to drag out the process without any resistance when it was a clear tactic by them to milk me for as long as they could.. Outrageous. There's so many other things on this line that went on but no need.

My husband has been trying to get in contact with his lawyer, Patrica, since June 15th with no avail. He has tried contacting her via email, phone, and even texting her private number every week with no response. I can understand delays with Covid-19, but to have absolutely zero communication? I work 4 jobs and I have time to answer a phone call. I never did get to meet with Joe Peck other than the initial call and when he answered a complaint I had. Otherwise, the attorney he assigned to my case, Jason, was very competent and discussed realistic settlement options. Due to some prior circumstances, I had a very unique and unusual divorce case. The mediation went well, and we settled after an eight hour session with a third party arbitrator. Jason left the firm in the midst of my case. I decided to switch to his new firm because the case was almost finished and he had personally handled most of it. That was not a bad reflection on the Peck firm. Just a personal choice.

Beware of the bad reviews I hired Mr. Forman to represent me in a custody agreement. I read a lot of good reviews and some bad reviews that made me a bit nervous, but I thought you take the good with the bad. The bad reviews were accurate. He is rude and IMO over extended. He asked me to file the paperwork he prepared because he was too busy to walk down to the court house and do it himself. He didn't explain the paperwork or the orders that were prepared and ended up putting me in a bad situation that severely damaged my case. I emailed him multiple times about the case and the way I understood it and he never corrected me to explain how it all works. He hardly read any of the emails that were sent to him, but you better believe that I was billed for everyone. If you hire him, be prepared to spend time doing your own googling on what is really going on behind the scenes. The bad reviews on this attorney were very accurate.
