Ms. ESSEX is beyond an amazing attorney!! She is very easy to communicate with and very responsive! Her entire staff was responsive and kind through this very difficult process. She will always speak truth and is very knowledgeable in her field! I would not use anyone but her ever! She cares about my case and my children and took it very serious! I had the lovely pleasure of consulting with Erin Allen. Erin provided excellent feedback regarding my multiple inquiries. My case is rather complex and complicated. And Erin was able to break it all down into simple, manageable steps for me. She was extremely professional and courteous. She went above and beyond. My allotted time was 30 minutes but due to the complexity of my case, she spent a full hour with me. What struck me the most was not just her clear understanding of the law, but her warmth, empathy and genuine compassion towards me; something not very common in my experience with attorneys. She has been taking money from me for 2.3 years & withdrew as council after my case got dismissed due to her negligence. She was always late on hearings, mediation & filings. I had to find a new attorney after wasting 25K & 2.3 years of my life.

Unfortunately I have had more attorneys than I can count. I’m a single mom of four daughters and it seems I am constantly being harassed or taken to court by their father. I have had several attorneys over the years and I can vouch that all the attorneys I have had, that Mark Porter exceeds expectations. He is very prompt, always available, goes above and beyond. You never have to speak to several legal assistants that have no clue what is going on. Going through court and custody hearings is a very stressful matter alone, and having Mr. Porter as your representation will ease as he is laid back and calms you as well as he knows the system. He has a heart of gold and truly fights for his clients best interest. Plus he makes you laugh constantly with all his jokes, to make lite of situations. I know a lot of us don’t care for attorneys and have a certain perception, but he changes the view I have had on legal representation, and I am confident he will do the same for you!

Incompetent. He made little to no effort to adequately advise or protect his client or her possessions. He failed to acknowledge domestic violence as the primary issue and did not file or proceed as he should have in a volatile domestic violence situation, requiring the hiring of a second attorney. Basically he sat around and smiled and hobnobbed with opposing counsel, further invalidating the seriousness of the situation. If you are female avoid him.

Travis Eaton is an excellent attorney. I was referred to Travis by a friend when my son was looking to hire an attorney to obtain custody of his daughter. I don't usually do reviews unless it is truly warranted and deserved. Quite honestly, I found Mr. Eaton on google, made some 3rd party inquiries, and ultimately decided on his law firm. It was a divorce matter with some complex child custody issues. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. It was a very stressful time for myself and i just wanted to give in to the other party. I'm grateful that Mr. Eaton kept me on track, focused on my parental rights, and achieved an ideal outcome. Highly recommend. The reviews of Mr. Eaton are accurate - the positive ones at least. We never know what we don't know but i can personally say that i would choose Mr. Eaton again and would recommend him to anyone.

Although divorce is not something we dream of after getting married, it’s sometimes for the best. This time can be emotional, but Jennifer helped my ex and I keep as level headed as possible throughout the divorce process. If either of us had questions, she would answer promptly and give great advice. As kids were involved, she helped us configure a fair plan that would be in the best interest for the children.
