What began as a consultation ended in a smart decision to retain Milena Christopher's services. I truly appreciate all the help Scott Morgan provided to me as my divorce attorney. The outcome of my case was very favorable for me, both from financial and children custody standpoint. As much as his legal guidance was crucial, the psychological and moral support he gave me was also invaluable. During the divorce I was getting all kinds of different opinions from friends and family, and Scott was the person that let me stay strong on my course. He was always available for communication, and very promptly, which was of great importance to me. My divorce/child support case was complicated. I spoke with half a dozen attorneys prior to speaking with Janice. None of the attorneys I spoke with were confident in how to proceed with my case. A few said they'd research it and get back with me (they didn't get back with me) and some just honestly said they had no idea how to handle this case. From the first time I spoke with Janice she was confident in how to proceed - she told me exactly what she would do and she did it. She researched case law for my particular situation and was very prepared in court. And 8 months later - our case is complete and we were awarded everything we asked for. Janice and her team were professional, they did not over promise anything. She is direct and to the point and was always available when I had questions. I hope to never have to use her services again, but I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing legal services for any family law situations.

When you’re in the position of needing a family lawyer, The Eggleston Law firm doesn’t fall short. Having hired both Janice and Bryan as legal counsel, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. They are both very professional, straight-forward, responsive, knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly work to get the best results for you and your children. Communication has never been an issue- they are always keeping you informed of the process and status of your case. You’ll never feel pressured to make a decision you aren’t in agreement with, only guided to do what is best for your family. We needed a fighter, and Bryan put on his boxing gloves for us and won our match. It was scary for our family as my grandson was taken by his other grandmother who took him out of school for the week and then took him to Corpus from the Austin area. We had to track her down, drive to Corpus and get him back. While my husband and daughter were on their drive, Cassie and I were in constant text - We were all on a mission to get that boy in his momma's arms again. Bryan filed restraining orders and writs and all of the above to make this happen. This was a long and hard case, but we had the Final Virtual Hearing today and he brought my family justice.. My daughter now has Sole Custody of her boy and I am quite proud of her and the outcome of this matter. I pray nobody has to go through what we did, but if you do - I assure you want Bryan in your corner.. I couldn't ask for a better representative for my family and thank you just is not enough words..

There aren't enough words to fully convey how happy I am I chose the Law Office of Tim Whitten to represent me in a recent cusody case but I will attempt in this review. I contacted Tim Whitten to represent me in the most difficult time of my life. After a few in-depth conversations with Summer and Tim, we agreed it would be best for my case to have Tim and Amerin Whisnant represent me. Amerin Whisnant was my main attorney and handled the bulk of the case and throughout the entire case, I have never seen more courtesy, kindness and hard-work on my behalf. I felt secure knowing the knowledge they possed would give me a clear picture of my options and guide me in the right direction. However, they allowed me to make all informed decisions based on what was right for my family. Rightfully so, emotions were high, however, Amerin did a tremendous job navigating me through it all and eleviating some of the stress and intensity that came with it. They displayed the utmost professionalism towards the opposing party including his attorney which showed me a lot of wisdom. I can honestly say my son and I are better off having chosen Amerin, Tim and this entire team as our legal coucil. I HIGHLY recommend Cristi Trusler for family law, particularly custody cases. Cristi, along with her phenomenal paralegal worked countless months/hours and put forth everything they had to ensure that all of the facts were conveyed in court. We had many obstacles to overcome where the county our case was held. I had initial consultations with 3 divorce attorneys, and within minutes of my first meeting with Melissa I knew she was the one I would retain. From the beginning, she gave me very honest and accurate information, which helped me to have realistic expectations. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of family law, very well organized, and a great communicator. It was obviously not her first rodeo, and as it was mine, I found her calm demeanor very reassuring. She never flinched when opposing counsel delayed, postured, and made unreasonable requests. She was exceptionally responsive throughout the entire course of my case, as was as her paralegal. I also felt like she did a good job of presenting options that would minimize my legal fees. My divorce unfortunately ended up in court. Melissa did a great job at the trial, and I had a very favorable outcome. I highly recommend Melissa!

Trying to go through the name change process on my own turned into a nightmare. I hired CHA Law Group to take care of it and, from the initial phone consult to getting my certified copies of the name change order, it was stress free. Communication was excellent and they were friendly and professional throughout the process.

Not sure why google isnt showing my review, but i am going to reword it then: I hired Will Shindler for a family law case. All I can say is I had a good case with good proofs, pictures, etc. He was very submissive to the opposing party and disrespectful to me and my case. He would ask me to do everything the oppossing party was asking for and would not really fight for me. Also, In family matters you have to be professional with everyone involved, these are painful moments for both parties yet he was heard many times laughing it up with the opposing party's lawyer, so much so that the oppossing party plaintiff noticed it too. I felt like all my money went down the drain, not to mention the emotional pain left after a "professional" didn't want to fight for you.

After we adopted our two children internationally, we wanted to "re-adopt" them in Texas so they could obtain Texas birth certificates. Not many family law attorneys even know this is an option for internationally adopted children. But Christine knew, and also knew exactly how to get it done quickly and efficiently. The CHA Law firm went out of their way when my son was dying of cancer. He only had two weeks to live when we contacted them. They spoke with him on the phone, wrote his will, came out to the house to ensure he had all his faculties, brought witnesses to the will signing at his house, and was warm and caring during his last days. As a father, you couldn’t ask for more.

The service and respect I've received after I've been with them for years has dramatically changed. I think if you are exploring options I would continue to explore. Extreme focus on billing and not service...seems like we were never organized and on point. Constantly repeating work. Its like I have to defend myself in every conversation. It appears it’s a cultural thing. Turns out its a similar experience among others I've spoken with. If I could reduce to zero I would.

Jimmy and his team are amazing. The depth of experience and ability to advise on my divorce was incredible. It became very clear to me that they work very hard at what they do. The most amazing thing that I continued to notice was how Jimmy could see far down the road and predict what was going to happen based on the TX legal system in conjunction with the personalities of opposing counsel. Kimberley Evans has been my divorce attorney many years. There aren't enough nouns for me to describe my experience with her as my attorney. Her tenacity, drive, and hard work are apparent. "The work will speak for itself" and it certainly does. Evans Law Group is also a representation of these things. When it comes to something like the fallout after an ended marriage, especially where children are involved, every decision can have lasting ramifications.
