I chose Moran Law Firm based on ratings and reviews. I have to admit, I was pretty skeptical, yet being pressed by the circumstances, I took my chances and went with MLF , which turned out to validate their accuracy and my decision. Lisa and her remarkable team of ladies were absolutely wonderful and supportive. They helped me through a very difficult divorce and child custody for which I appreciate them dearly & they’ll always have a special place in my heart. Lisa understands her clients, is very insightful and determined to fight for your case, which makes her a powerful opponent; you’ll want her by you side! DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM!!!!! Lisa Moran is money hungry! My best friend has been working with them for 9mo and is no further along than he was when this started! He was promised the moon and told for $5,000 the divorce could be finalized by the end of the year…..it’s now nearly the end of JULY!!!! Lisa won’t return a phone call! The legal assistants in her office must be overwhelmed because they can’t seem to remember if they need to make changes to a decree or if they’re waiting for something from the opposing party!!! I have talked to other friends in town who have dealt with this law firm and they ALL have negative things to say! The one consistent thing they do say is “run far away! I’ll recommend someone if you will leave her!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT USE MORAN LAW FIRM!!!!!! I wish someone would’ve given my friend this info before he wasted time and money!

I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. At first things started off great and was told nothing but good things and all throughout the process Sarina knew she couldn’t deliver just to get you in as a client. Lisa is all about money money money. My case started in July 2020 and the only thing that was implemented was injunction and somewhat of child support that was suppose to be enforced and the opposing pay when he feel like it. Never been married and this case has costed 7200. Every time I look up Lisa is calling about money when there is more than enough sitting in the trust fund...just money hungry. This law firm tried to get me to write hot checks, apply for an unnecessary credit card which I did not do any of these things and sent me another client information as example to look at which is violating policy and the clients right. After mediation Sarina still guaranteed me everything knowing deep down she was lying and couldn’t admit the truth. Worked on my case on a Saturday and was told I wouldn’t get charge nor would she let Lisa know and she charge me anyways when I dropped them as an attorney because Sarina decided she was going with the opposing party. Literally took all this money from me as the client just to side with the opposing party. I called the law firm to speak to the front desk and Lisa answered the phone to see why I was an unhappy customer and wanted to drop their law firm. I explained everything and she told me she would represent my case in trial for FREE. We all know there is a catch to that because if your law firm has so many unhappy customer and your willing to loose money to represent an unhappy client for free in trial just to still screw the client over just so that they firm won’t have a bad reputation. I immediately lawyer up with a new firm who will get the job done and not drag this case out just for money. Now I’m having to give money to someone else to to finish the job that Moran Law Firm couldn’t do. In the mist of calling around 85% of all the law firm told me to run and run far as I can from this firm and never look back. Now that speaks if it coming from different law firms in the same area. Lesson learn with these people but now I have someone great on my case now to finish up the work.

Would not recommend this law firm, they did nothing for me on my case. Very disappointing and won’t use or recommend them to anyone. I should have known when I did a consolation with them, it was 2 attorneys in the room during consolation and the one that was going to be over my case was quite the whole time and never spoke or asked any questions. That should have been a dead give away for me. The only reason I’m giving one star is because you cannot leave 0 or I would.

So I'm giving a bad review because me and my wife used this office and no befor it's asked court went ok. So this is not the reason for the bad review. My bad reviews are for the fact the person we worked with had hardly any contact with us. And would only let us know 24/48 hours before we had court which put a strain on our jobs and no time to prepare. Also on one court hearing my wife had to remind him the details of the case which told me he had to much on his plate. We have not had contact in 2 months but we are getting billed for stuff we have no clue about using the rest of our retainer money. I feel that this is very unprofessional! Hopefully all of the partners with this firm are not like this but we had a bad experience.

Please see below for updated information Original Post: He drew out my custody battle over a year and a half, charged me more money than I care to mention I was swindled for, and then, after all that, he forgot to put in the order to change my last name back. I had to go through the process to get my name changed as well as deal with him not being in the office on a regular basis because he was in Dallas. Update: Now, this lawyer chose to put my personal court information on a google review in an unflattering light instead of reaching out to me personally because he didn't like my post. It was 8 years ago after it was all settled, I was being beaten by my ex-husband at the time and you did next to nothing to help me get my child away from him. You did not consult me on how to deal with CPS. You told me to go along with it, do what they say, and we will handle my divorce after it was resolved. After, it was resolved, I took your "advice" to settle since there was no temporary order put in place, and I hadn't seen my daughter for 6 months and he wouldn't let me do so until I signed my divorce decree. It took me over a year and a half to get my child back in court. Others, please keep that in mind when deciding whether you would like him to represent you. P.S. - After posting this, I saw a few other posts from women. Please go back and make your own decision on if he is biased in any way. I do.

I hired Bo for custody of my son and child support. Well I am 150% pleased with the outcome of having Bo as my attorney to represent me and my son and keep my boy where he belongs and also my child support did get raised! I would definitely recommend him! He has always been straight forward and thorough on what was happening within the case. The ladies in his office have always been respectful, helpful, and nice as well! If I need a family attorney again in the future I would definitely hire him in a heartbeat! Mr. Burch was very helpful. I’m sure Mr Bass might be a decent attorney but I was very blessed and thankful my case was dropped, but Mr Bass had no idea that my case had been dropped, my bail bondsman notified me with the great news. I had paid Mr Bass a substantial amount of money but still had a balance owed and the guy is hounding me for the balance that he absolutely nothing on the case and had no influence in the decision for my case not being prosecuted…just your typical snake in the grass attorney, at least that’s my opinion…

Out of all the attorneys in Navarro County, Robert York is the answer when it comes to family law and divorce. Robert has been representing me since April 2017 and I have been nothing but impressed so far! He is someone I highly recommend and I know for a fact by watching other attorneys in the court room that Robert is the best of the best.
